Breitbart: Bill Barr: Trump Will Likely Be Indicted on January 6 Case this Summer
Former Attorney General Bill Barr believes that former President Donald Trump will likely face charges in connection with the January 6 Capitol riot, but acknowledges that it may be a difficult case to make due to First Amendment interests. Barr said that he defended Trump on cases he believed were unfair, but expects the January 6 case to be brought this summer.
Breitbart: Netanyahu Opposes 'Mini-deal' with Iran; Says It Will Not Prevent Nukes
Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has rejected a proposed "mini-deal" between the US and Iran that would temporarily prevent the Iranian regime from developing a nuclear weapon. Such a deal would involve Iran ceasing the enrichment of uranium at 60%, releasing American hostages, stopping its attacks on US military contractors in the region, and agreeing not to sell ballistic missiles to Russia. In return, the US would agree not to increase sanctions, seize Iranian oil tankers or issue further countermeasures against Iran at the United Nations. Netanyahu dismissed the notion, stating that it would allow Iran to edge closer to a nuclear weapon, whereas Israel's top priority was to stop this at all costs.
Critics speculate that the “mini-deal” is meant to benefit US President Joe Biden’s upcoming reelection bid rather than achieving a result in the Middle East. Former President Donald Trump withdrew from the Iran deal of 2015, which was agreed by President Barack Obama, claiming that it would allow Iran to become a nuclear power while providing the regime with sanctions relief and cash. Trump’s strategy had been to apply pressure to the Iranian regime, either causing its collapse or forcing it to rejoin the negotiating table for a binding agreement, which was absent in the original agreement.

The Epoch Times: Biden Says Ukraine Can't Join NATO Unless It Meets 'Same Standards'
President Joe Biden has stated that Ukraine will not receive a fast track to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), despite the country's significant resource contribution to the organization. While Ukraine possesses the ability to coordinate military affairs, it must meet all standards set by NATO before becoming a full member. Government and military corruption within Ukraine has been a concern flagged by NATO officials. Putin has historically stated that Kyiv joining NATO is a nonstarter and prevented the country from obtaining such a facilitation in 2022.
In recent developments, Putin declared that there is a serious danger of NATO being drawn into the conflict if various members of the alliance continue to provide Ukraine with war supplies. Putin suggested that the threat of Russia's nuclear weapons could protect the country from any foreign interference. Meanwhile, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa presented Putin with a 10-point peace initiative from seven African countries. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the African delegation that allowing negotiations now would only “freeze the war” and lead to further suffering.

Meanwhile, other Asian countries outside of China are benefiting from the shifting of China’s industrial supply chain.
