National Review: The Corner: New York Times Misreads a Poll to DeSantis’s Detriment
Political families are in the spotlight this weekend. The New York Times analyzes Republican governor Ron DeSantis's fatherhood and his attempts to highlight his family as a contrast to his much older rivals. Meanwhile, the Washington Post profiles DeSantis's wife, Casey, and their guarded political partnership. President Biden continues to confound with his use of made-up words, and his son Hunter tries to avoid paying child support in Arkansas. Republican Senator Tim Scott makes an appearance on Fox News Sunday, offering an alternative to Republican pugnaciousness while declining to answer if he would pardon Trump.

The American Spectator: Why Yellen Is Wrong in Opposing Decoupling From China
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen believes that decoupling from China would be detrimental due to the economic costs, but she overlooks the long-term political benefits that decoupling would bring. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been investing in and growing its influence worldwide, particularly in infiltrating the U.S. while keeping China open to access profitable markets. To eliminate China's threat, international pressure must be exerted on the CCP to respect the rule of law and individual freedom, which is the main goal of decoupling. However, Yellen and other decoupling naysayers are short-sighted and dangerously misleading by hiding the true goal of seeking changes in China's political system.

The Blaze: American Medical Association says BMI metric caused 'historical harm' by being used for 'racist exclusion,' vows to protect 'gender-affirming care' for transgenders
The American Medical Association (AMA) has claimed that the body mass index (BMI) metric causes "historical harm" due to being used for "racist exclusion". The AMA has published a report criticising the BMI for not assessing body fat. It accuses the BMI of being problematic in diagnosing eating disorders and highlights the impact of lifestyle issues, comorbidities, gender and ethnicities on morbidity and mortality rates. The AMA has vowed to protect transgenders' "gender-affirming care" by opposing any penalties against patients seeking such care and by educating healthcare providers about its importance.
The American Spectator: How Sweet! Sucralose Is Safe!
Does Splenda damage DNA, causing a potentially harmful "leaky gut"? No, say scientists, who dismiss recent studies. Sucralose is approved in many countries and tests suggest the amount consumed in the typical diet makes it unlikely to pose a significant threat. Artificial sweeteners are a source of controversy for some nutritionists, who claim they increase hunger, alter bacterial cultures in the gut and damage health in other ways; but there’s little proof these claims are true. They’re unlikely to help with weight loss, and some blame their widespread use for rising obesity levels in the US.

The American Spectator: The Woke Choice Is Always the Wrong Choice
The firing of Tucker Carlson from Fox News is a blatant act of corporate seppuku. The country is more conservative than it has been in a decade, yet entities continue to go woke and alienate conservatives. From baseball teams allowing anti-Catholic groups to participate in Pride Nights to the revolting degree of transgender immersion and indoctrination at Fox Corp, the disregard for traditional values is leading to profit loss.
