PJ Media: Intersectional Feminist Irish Senator Demands Censorship for 'Safety'
The Criminal Justice Bill in Ireland aims to restrict freedom of speech for domestic terrorists. Green Party Senator Pauline O'Reilly champions the bill, which prohibits incitement to violence or hatred based on protected characteristics. Critics raise concerns about vagueness in the language, including "trivialising genocide." O'Reilly believes restricting freedom for the common good is the role of legislators, but critics argue that limiting certain freedoms is only justified to preserve other, more significant freedoms. The bill is viewed as another step towards authoritarianism in Ireland.

The Epoch Times: ‘I Need You Badly’: Biden Addresses Union Members at First 2024 Campaign Rally
Joe Biden addressed labor union members in Philadelphia in an effort to win back white working-class voters. The AFG-CIO union has endorsed him. Biden emphasized that a thriving middle class is the major driver of sustainable growth and prosperity, and expressed support for labor unions. He also touted his legislative wins, which he said created 13 million new jobs and 100,000 manufacturing jobs. Biden's economic argument aims to bolster support among blue-collar workers, but it's unclear whether his messaging resonates with voters, as his approval rating remains near an all-time low.
While touring the collapsed Interstate 95 roadway on his way to the rally in Philadelphia, Joe Biden received an update on the reconstruction efforts. He was joined by Democratic officials from Pennsylvania, including Gov. Josh Shapiro and Sens. Bob Casey and John Fetterman. The trip to Philadelphia also coincided with Jill and Joe Biden’s 46th wedding anniversary. Before departing for Philadelphia, Biden made a joke about his wedding anniversary. When asked about the nature of his campaign and whether it will be nasty, Biden told reporters, “Well, it depends on who the nominee is.”
The Epoch Times: Cumulative Impacts From California Exodus Costs State Nearly $500 Billion, Will Get Worse: Economist
California is losing residents to states with no or lower income tax due to its high tax rates. Internal Revenue Service data shows over 425,000 people leaving the state between 2021 and 2022, with one-third of businesses surveyed by Chapman University contemplating moving. Strict environmental regulations and a lengthy permitting process are common complaints from business leaders and businesses leaving the state fuel the loss of workers. The significant loss of human capital and intellectual capacity is a concerning aspect of the California exodus as the state invests in public education systems subsidized by the government. Lack of access to resources and housing is linked to high regulation and tax, as less job creation and economic activity are the inevitable results.
