Matthew DeSavio has been arrested by Nevada police for allegedly threatening a mass shooting at the NHL Stanley Cup final between the Golden Knights and the Florida Panthers. The 33-year-old has a history of mental illness and was found incompetent to stand trial after threatening an act of terrorism or mass destruction in a previous case in October 2019. The latest arrest came after DeSavio allegedly made multiple threats against the game via text, phone and social media, frightening at least three people into reporting him to the authorities. He was arrested at the workplace of one of those who had been stalked by him.

They were charged with money laundering, illegal monetary transactions, and wire fraud. The couple obtained 11 disaster loans and six PPP loans, bought outdoor kitchens, home furnishings, jewelry, dogs, and real estate in Indiana. The PPP is designed to give small-business loans for those affected by the pandemic, while the Economic Injury Disaster Loan offers economic relief to temporarily struggling businesses.
