The Federalist Papers: Twitter Slaps Biden with Massive Fact Check After WH Tries to Spread Lie About Children's Deaths
Twitter Slaps Biden with Massive Fact Check After WH Tries to Spread Lie About Children's Deaths
President Biden tweeted that guns are the killer of kids in America, promoting gun control and banning AR-15 models. However, fact-checkers quickly pointed out that accidents are the leading cause of death for children and adolescents. For Biden's claim to be true, infants would be excluded and 18 and 19 year-olds would be counted as children, which is impossible as they are legally considered adults. Many were quick to respond to the tweet by pointing out that abortion is actually the killer of kids in America, something not mentioned by Biden or fact-checkers. Biden and the left are being dishonest about this issue to promote their political agenda.

The rally marked Biden's first major non-donor event on the 2024 campaign trail.

Professor Cornel West vowed to campaign in pro-Trump areas and criticized Biden's "hypocrisy" and "neoliberalism." Union workers at the rally represented 18 million laborers across the U.S. Biden was endorsed by AFL-CIO, American Federation of Teachers, and other significant unions. Supporters at the rally expressed optimism about the president's re-election chances.

The Imaginative Conservative: Capturing "Emma"
Capturing "Emma"
Anna Taylor Joy's portrayal of Emma in the 2020 film adaptation of Jane Austen's novel is disappointing and too serious, betraying the self-effacing spirit of Austen's work. The film's attempts at feminist subtext are heavy-handed and spoil the whole production, as Austen's charming romance is manipulated into a sexual sermon. Retaining the embedded ideologies and beliefs of past classics in faithful portrayals is vital to preserving our shared heritage.

Walker tearfully asked Lucas Rivera-Velasco’s family to “forgive me” for fatally shooting him and wounding four others before jurors took about two hours to also find true sentencing enhancements for discharge of a gun causing death or great bodily injury. Walker followed the other vehicle and when it was in a left turn lane on 19th Street to go north on Harbor Boulevard the defendant jumped out of his pickup truck and dashed over to them and “pounded on the window.”
