Red State: 'The View' Spew: Whoopi and Sunny Demand Constitutional Amendment to Bar 'Jailed' Trump Presidency
Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin of "The View" demand "something" to prevent Trump from running the country from a prison cell assuming he is found guilty and sentenced to jail, wins the Republican nomination, and the 2024 presidential election. Goldberg suggests that the situation highlights America's problems. Hostin and Joy Behar discuss constitutional amendments to prevent a jailed president and despair over feckless Republicans who might give Trump a "get out of jail-free pass." The comedy gold highlights the angry mindset of the Trump-deranged left.
Foreign Policy: Did Trump’s Bathroom Stash Threaten National Security?
Former President Donald Trump has been indicted on 37 counts of mishandling classified documents, which he allegedly took from the White House and kept hidden from FBI investigators with the help of his valet. Despite the gravity of the charges, Trump remains the front-runner for the Republican nomination in 2024. Some analysts believe that the indictment could help Trump’s popularity, as his name will continue to appear in the headlines every day. However, there are alternatives in the race, such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has embraced a foreign-policy outlook similar to Trump’s. Nonetheless, many conservative voters believe that the federal government is waging a war on Republicans. The stakes in Ukraine are high, and as the country undertakes an incipient counteroffensive, all eyes will remain on the ongoing conflict. Ukrainian-U.S. and Ukrainian-European interests are not always aligned, however. U.S. and European intelligence agencies reportedly have considerable evidence that Ukrainians or Ukrainian-aligned forces blew up the Nord Stream pipeline, cutting off gas to Germany and Western Europe. So far, there has been no public backlash, but segments of the German business community may take offense.

The PAC aims to replicate the success in Michigan by supporting causes beyond the state. Whitmer emphasizes the need to fight for fundamental freedoms and hold the line on these rights.
Liberty Nation: Who Wins in a Crowded Primary?

Breitbart: Elon Snubbed? Xi Jinping Grants Bill Gates Warm Beijing Meeting
Bill Gates met with China's President Xi Jinping on Friday, becoming the latest high-profile US business leader to visit the country since it reopened its borders post-coronavirus lockdown. Elon Musk, Jamie Dimon, and Tim Cook had all travelled to China earlier this year but Gates is the first to secure a one-on-one meeting with the president. Xi emphasized the potential benefits of cooperation that has been hampered by disputes over human rights, Taiwan, security, and technology. The visits by leading foreign business people have coincided with efforts by the ruling Communist Party to revive investor interest in China’s slowing economy.
Two Republican senators have introduced a plan that would ban China and China-linked firms from buying land in the United States. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to arrive in China on Sunday for a two-day visit, the first time a secretary of state is visiting since 2018.

The Federalist Papers: Another Iconic Breer Brand Just Went Woke, Yuengling Beer Now Sponsoring a Major Drag Show
Renowned beer brand, Yuengling, has faced backlash for sponsoring a drag show venue in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, during Pride month. The event, featuring drag queens performing music, was initially announced with the sponsorship on the festival's social media page, but the caption was later changed to remove Yuengling's name following negative feedback. This controversy highlights the challenge brands face in adapting to societal changes while maintaining a strong connection with their traditional consumer base.

According to Portland police officer David Baer, crime in the downtown area seems to be linked to fentanyl and possession of the drug carries a fine lower than that of a seat belt violation. Oregon's decriminalization of hard drugs means possession of fentanyl, meth, and other hard drugs is essentially equivalent to receiving a traffic ticket. Police are targeting dealers and educating people about the drug.
Forbes: Google Sues Scammer Over Alleged Scheme To Flood Search With Fake Businesses And Reviews
Google has filed a lawsuit against Ethan Hu and unnamed defendants, accusing the former of orchestrating a scheme that used its products to create fake listings and reviews for non-existent businesses, then selling them to legitimate businesses or other bad actors. The scheme created at least 350 fake business profiles with at least 14,000 fake reviews since mid-2021, and Google is seeking damages and for Hu and the other defendants to be permanently banned from selling or advertising verification services on its platform. The lawsuit comes as Google defends its dominant position against growing competition and battles to address the problem of fake reviews, listings and content.
Breitbart: Virginia A.G. Miyares: Soros Has 'Privilege' of Avoiding Impact of His Policies, Like Crime Increasing Poverty
Attorney General Jason Miyares (R) claimed that the Soros family avoids consequences for their lax prosecution policies and that high crime leads to increased poverty. He criticized Soros-backed prosecutors who view themselves as social workers instead of prosecutors and have a criminal-first, victim-last mindset, which has hurt many communities. Miyares argued that high-crime areas are often left without businesses as they do not locate there due to increased crime rates, leading to food deserts.
