The Federalist: Majority Of Americans Reject Dems' Unlimited Abortion Agenda
A recent Gallup poll reveals that only 37% of U.S. adults believe abortion should be allowed during the second trimester, and only 22% support ending life in the womb in the third trimester. Despite attempts by Democrats to normalize their belief that taxpayers should fund abortions up until birth, a majority of Americans, 55%, think ending life in the womb in the second trimester should be "generally illegal," and an even bigger number, 70%, think abortion in the third trimester should be outlawed. The poll also shows that most Americans support a 15-week abortion ban, not Democrats' abortion extremism.
The Gallup poll accurately reflects that most Americans support a 15-week abortion ban and show that "Most Americans oppose abortion later in pregnancy." Furthermore, although 69% of Americans reportedly think abortion should be legal in the first three months of pregnancy, the biggest increase in those who identify as "pro-life" happened within the past year of post-Dobbs momentum, with 44% identifying as pro-life in 2022.
Fox News: Irish politician boasts hate speech bill will ‘restrict freedom’ to protect trans people from ‘discomfort’
Irish Green Party Senator Pauline O'Reilly defended a bill that could jail people for possessing material that criticizes gender identity. Critics have compared the Irish Criminal Justice Bill to punishing people for "thought crime," and there are concerns that it could lead to the criminalization of religious expression. O'Reilly defended the bill, arguing that hate speech legislation is necessary to restrict freedom for the common good. She believes people should not be free to disagree with others' identities, warning that discomfort is a severe hazard.
Senator Rónán Mullen noted the hazards of punishing people for questioning gender ideology. He listed a series of scenarios that possibly could land a person afoul of the potential law. Will mocking memes be tolerated? Will robust campaigning by parents against inappropriate school curricula be allowed? Will carrying a placard stating "Men cannot breastfeed" warrant a hate speech investigation or up to five years' imprisonment?
Fox News: Oregon GOP senators end 6-week walkout following new agreements
Oregon's longest-ever legislative walkout has ended after six weeks, with GOP senators who stayed away from the state Senate in Salem making a return. The impasse had prevented a quorum to pass bills. A compromise was reached that saw Democrats remove rules that would have increased the purchasing age of semiautomatic rifles and urged Republican legislators to attend before the session’s end on June 25 to be able to pass critical legislation and budget bills. The standoff was caused by a sweeping bill on abortion and transgender care that the GOP said was too extreme.
American Thinker: How to answer the 'Will you pardon Trump?' question
Clay Travis proposed all GOP candidates pardon Trump if elected. Candidates have responded with varying levels of support. Former VP Mike Pence recently obfuscated on the issue during an interview, leading to criticism and increased attention on the question. Travis suggests an easy answer for candidates is to reassure voters of a fair and just Department of Justice that does not engage in political prosecutions, and to pardon anyone who has been politically prosecuted. The candidates can choose whether to acknowledge the charges against Trump as political or not, and refusal to answer may reflect negatively on their candidacy. Pence's lack of a clear answer is concerning for his candidacy.
Liberty Nation: RFK Jr. Has His Own Damascene Conversion
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. admits to initial bias against Trump and highlights the cognitive dissonance within the Democratic party. He had a "mea culpa" moment when piles of evidence showed that the Durham report demonstrated that the Russia collusion narrative was fabricated. Other Democrats, such as Naomi Wolfe and Tulsi Gabbard, have also expressed their misgivings about propaganda-driven narratives. RFK Jr.'s positioning as someone who has seen the light on numerous hoax scandals may appeal to voters tired of bitter partisanship.
The Federalist: Biden Bribery Details Expose Old NYT Report As FBI-Fueled Lies
The New York Times cooperated with FBI sources to falsely portray the investigation into Hunter Biden as politically motivated and lacking merit. The reporting on the supposed details of the investigation aimed to make it appear as a big nothingburger. However, recent whistleblower revelations and statements by former Attorney General William Barr confirm that the reporting was replete with falsehoods and deceptive narratives.
American Thinker: Times goes bonkers salivating over Trump in prison
New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof is accused of hate speech and hiding behind CIA disinformation to call President-elect Trump "The Russian Poodle" in a 2016 article. The Times is accused of descending into an abyss of lies and hate speech over their abusive coverage of the President. The paper's Hate Trump Columns Only section included articles by Thomas L. Friedman titled "Trump Thrives in a Broken System. He'll Get Us There Soon," Bret Stephens' "Lock Him Up," and Kristof's "A President Governing From Behind Bars?!" There are concerns the media may intimidate the randomly assigned judge for Mr. Trump's case.
Liberty Nation: Gavin Newsom: Presidential Plug-and-Play
Amidst Biden’s increasing enfeeblement and unpopularity, attention turns to his potential replacement. Kamala Harris is highly unpopular, so some wonder if Gavin Newsom is positioning himself to take over. He has been campaigning in a way that suggests he is ready to step in if needed, and his contrasting presence to Biden is stark, making him a potentially strong candidate as the nation heads towards 2024 elections. It remains to be seen if Biden will finish out his term or if Newsom will make a move, but the possibility of a new leader arising is certainly on the horizon.
The Epoch Times: Criticism Of Boris Johnson Conduct Divides Tory MPs
Boris Johnson faces criticism from a parliamentary committee over his conduct in the Partygate scandal. The Privileges Committee's report recommends Johnson should have faced a 90-day suspension and a ban from holding a parliamentary pass, but some Conservative MPs warn they could face deselection if they back the motion. Johnson's allies called the report a 'protracted political assassination,' while some MPs indicate they will vote against it, with Johnson himself calling the conclusion 'deranged.'

Fox News: GOP candidates condemn Biden for elicit mishap during White House Pride event: 'Very revealing'
Republican presidential candidates and conservative figures are criticizing President Biden and his administration for their support of pro-trans policies, following a controversial Pride event at the White House that featured topless trans activists. Some, including Sen. Tim Scott and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, have called for Biden's resignation over the event, while others, such as Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, have defended his response to the activists' behavior. Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy called the incident "very revealing about where we are as a nation," and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis questioned the administration's priorities in speaking out against this type of behavior while supporting certain educational curriculums.

Forbes: A Contrarian Investment Strategy For The Energy Transition
The renewable power sector and electric vehicle market may be overhyped and face financial losses due to irrational exuberance and overinvestment. The risks include reduced government support, public resistance, and lackluster consumer demand. Small startups that only make EVs are especially at risk, as well as sectors that service the renewables industry, such as electric charging stations. Narrowly focused companies are also at risk, as they are most dependent on government mandates and subsidies. While there is more demand for Cleantech due to climate change concerns, there is still substantial policy risk, given the industry's dependence on favorable fiscal and regulatory policies.
The Epoch Times: World Shares Reach 14-month Highs as Investors Shrug Off the Fed
Global shares reached new 14-month highs while the dollar fell this week as central banks stuck to market expectations, with the Federal Reserve and the Bank of Japan not making any rate changes, and the European Central Bank raising rates 0.25%. Although the Fed may have one or two more rate hikes before year-end, the money markets think the bank will only make one more 2022 increase. The dollar has dropped 1.3% this week, its largest fall since mid-January, as non-US rates step up to reach the Fed's fund rate. The benchmark indices are also likely to attain new 14-month highs at the open later today.

National Review: The Corner: Celebrating True Love
True love is an act of the will, a choice to choose what is true and good, not just a momentary feeling. Catholic Christians celebrate the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and during the month of June focus on his divine love. Jesus models this love by choosing to lay down his life for his friends, proving that love is a choice that sometimes goes against our feelings. Christians strive to "love the sinner but hate the sin" and when they denounce sinful behavior, it is the behavior that is hated, not the person. During this day and month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we recommit ourselves to following his example.

American Thinker: Remembering Lincoln's warning
Abraham Lincoln made a speech in 1858, warning that a house divided against itself cannot stand. This profound message is still relevant today amidst great division and uncertainty in the country, and prompts us to consider important issues before making decisions.

National Review: Public Health Goes Woke on Counting Deaths
Woke ideology is corrupting scientific inquiry and medical research. A new study in the Journal of the American Medical Association on Black mortality rates superficially cites “structural racism” as the root cause, but previous research shows that socio-economic factors such as income and educational level are more significant in explaining disparities. The authors of the newest study ignore these factors, preferring to advance their political narratives. This isn’t scientific research, but woke fiction. The harm of such unscientific thinking falls on the populations victimized and infantilized by woke ideology.

Forbes: Napoli Hiring Rudi Garcia Doesn’t Scream Ambition Amid Possible Big-Name Departures
Napoli appoints Rudi Garcia as new coach, disappointing fans and raising questions about their ambition. Garcia was sacked from his previous job and has not won a trophy since 2011. Napoli may also lose their star defender, Min-Jae, who is being pursued by Bayern Munich, and striker Osimhen, who is attracting interest from the Premier League. The club's owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, will need to make astute signings to avoid too much change in the team and maintain their status as defending champions.
Forbes: FC Barcelona Contact Mbappe Camp To Sign PSG Star And Hijack Real Madrid Move Receiving Response: Reports
FC Barcelona have contacted Kylian Mbappe's entourage in an attempt to sign the PSG superstar and prevent a move to rival Real Madrid. PSG have demanded that Mbappe sign a new contract or be sold, with Real Madrid reportedly preparing to make a bid. Barca may attempt to pick up Mbappe on a free transfer next year to negotiate a lower salary than his current $100 million, though Mbappe's entourage claim he has no intention of joining the Catalan club.
