National Review: The Democratic Spirit
The spirit of democracy is challenging the idea of a government of laws, not of men. In America, the legal attacks on the president are treated as legal attacks upon the legitimacy of his supporters, which helps explain the defense of figures such as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Ultimately, the response from voters protecting their own prerogative as the great sovereign is driving strange behavior in our politics.
American Thinker: Rule of law makes a country, so when rule of law goes...
Decades ago, an evil person funded D.A. races to emplace left-leaning D.A.s across America to not prosecute criminals while prosecuting right-leaning citizens. This led to the New York D.A. charging a former Marine for defending passengers in the subway from a deranged person, and the FBI/CIA swaying presidential elections. ( )
The rule of law breaks down when federal agencies refuse to follow the law, and the J6 prisoners and former president are not given speedy trials. Forces dedicated to destroying the nation are at work. Citizens must unite in the sanctity of the individual's inalienable right to existence and freedom and stop the petty bickering and hate-mongering. ( )
Fox News: San Francisco mayor's rebuke over 'punitive' drug policies, Meghan and Harry shunned and more top headlines
San Francisco's mayor may signal the end of Democratic Socialist politicking in the city. The White House is accused of violating the Hatch Act by continuing to use 'MAGA'. An AI program flags Chinese products made with forced labor and Biden's admin shields 330k immigrants from deportation.
National Review: What Government Unions Want to Do to America
Government unions, much like in Great Britain, have rigged the game in their favor in the United States and are driving the country towards socialism and national decline . These unions have become greedy, unaccountable and are on the brink of collapse. They are stealing from public employees and even forging signatures on union membership cards to prevent individuals from opting out of paying union dues. The Freedom Foundation is pursuing forgery cases against government unions, such as Kristy Jimenez's lawsuit, which could cost the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) millions in legal fees and penalties. The incident highlights the desperate and fraudulent tactics of government unions and the urgent need for their undue influence to end before it leads to the collapse of the American system.

The Epoch Times: Texas Gov. Abbott Signs Bill Banning Biological Males From Competing in Women's Intercollegiate Athletics
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has signed Senate Bill 15, also known as the “Save Women’s Sports Act,” into law, banning biological males who identify as female from competing on women’s collegiate sports teams. The state previously passed laws preventing transgender students from participating in K-12 school sports teams not aligned with their biological sex. The new bill defines biological sex as stated in the student’s birth certificate or government-issued identity card. The law will take effect on September 1, 2023, with provisions barring schools from retaliating against those reporting violations and requiring them to permit female students to compete on male teams if suitable female athletic competition is not available. The Texas Freedom Network and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) maintain that the law is unconstitutional and discriminates against transgender athletes.

National Review: Don’t Let Western Civ Fall
The University of Florida has launched a new program for developing a curriculum focused on the Western intellectual tradition and the ideals of the American Founding. The Hamilton Center, which has a total funding of $13 million, is part of Florida’s infusion of higher education with traditional Western values. Governor Ron DeSantis has also proposed adding Western Civ to the core curriculum for all Florida college students. This shift is necessary because the humanities have been killed by a hodgepodge of progressive priorities and only 17 percent of American universities require students to learn Western Civ. For the maintenance of civilization, it is necessary to hand down the history and literature that defines the West is.
The University of Florida's Hamilton Center aims to have a Western intellectual focus, funded with $13 million, the center is a part of the Governor Ron DeSantis' plan to add Western Civ to the core curriculum for all Florida college students. This is important because the hodgepodge of progressive priorities that have replaced the humanities in many American universities has all but killed it. This means only 17 percent of American universities require students to learn Western Civ. The study of Western civilization is necessary for the maintenance of civilization itself.
Fox News: Former California cop sends powerful message to Gavin Newsom: There are no words for the horrors I saw
A former police officer in Oceanside, California argues that the state's progressive crime policies are contributing to rampant drug use and homelessness. Rick Campbell believes that the state has a massive drug addiction crisis and a huge mental health crisis with no tools to force people into treatment. In his opinion, civil rights advocates are standing in the way of reform. He explains that Californians voted to enact Prop 47 in 2014, which tied the hands of law enforcement officials who were trying to clean up the streets. Campbell expressed support for Governor Gavin Newsom's desire to reverse the trend but argued that efforts so far have been misplaced.

The Epoch Times: Taiwan Eases Restrictions on Canadian Beef Imports
Taiwan has relaxed import rules on Canadian beef, allowing full market access for exporters of cattle aged over 30 months. Taiwanese Food and Drug Administration Director Wu Shou-mei confirmed the move was made as Canada had obtained "negligible risk status" for BSE from the World Organization for Animal Health. Six types of offal will remain prohibited. Although the changes are immediate, authorities will randomly select imported batches for inspection and reject those that fall out of line. Taiwan has been seeking more trade deals with Western countries as it faces growing political and military pressure from China - it has applied to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and hopes Canada will back its application as part of its desire to strengthen its economic and commercial partnership with Taiwan.
Liberty Nation: Are We Shocked, Shocked? China Spies on US From Cuba
China has established an intelligence-gathering facility in Cuba, within 100 miles of the US, to eavesdrop on southeastern military bases and ship traffic, according to anonymous officials cited in The Wall Street Journal. The move is part of a global programme by Beijing to upgrade its intelligence-gathering capabilities. However, while Air Force Brigadier Gen. Pat Ryder denied any US awareness, a Biden official confirmed China had been operating the base since at least 2019. Bipartisan congressional leaders have called for the US to respond to the development and the Cuban government has dismissed the claims as false information.

Forbes: In California, Maybe It’s Not Such Good Business After All: Spotify And Meghan Markle Officially Part Ways
Meghan Markle's podcast "Archetypes" has been cancelled by Spotify and Archewell for unknown financial terms. The stale and uninspiring content added to the negative industry speculation caused the couple to abandon the $20 million contract after an 18-month delay and 12 episodes. The Windsors of Montecito had spent three years conceptualising the 'issues-oriented' episodes with celebrity guests, but they failed to build a steady audience, becoming bland and rushed. The abrupt starting point left them with 50% less time for nuances and experimentation, leading to an abundance of topics that became about nothing.

The couple is looking for a new home for their audio content as Meghan Markle's talent agency continues to develop more content for the Archetypes audience on another platform.

The bill now awaits the signature of Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee.
The Epoch Times: IN-DEPTH: Victims Who Became 'Asexual' After Anti-Depressants Claim UK Authorities Are Ignoring Them
Thousands in the UK and globally may suffer from Post-SSRI Sexual Dysfunction (PSSD) as a result of taking antidepressants, however, campaigners state that their experiences are being ignored by authorities. A sure sign of PSSD is genital numbing with symptoms lasting in some cases for decades and no cure for the condition. Campaigners say that medical professionals are ignoring these conditions and still blame depression or mental illness instead of SSRIs.
Patients have reported their PSSD symptoms to regulators since 1987 but are still not being acknowledged. Regulators have updated their labeling to say that enduring sexual disruption may persist after discontinuation, but campaigners believe this is inadequate and it is not recognized by regulators. In terms of further risk mitigation of SSRIs, campaigners suggest that authorities should find doctors who prescribe these medications and get their email and home addresses to raise awareness of the condition.

American Thinker: When certainty is the enemy
Climate change catastrophists assert 100% certainty that carbon dioxide determines the Earth's climate and global warming is a possibility. This assumption disregards the probability of future events and results in a lack of credibility for true-believers who make up new dates for the sake of certainty. Decision making involves calculating probability using a tool called "expected value" to estimate the supposed cost or benefit of future events. Probability measurements are essential to a complete understanding of knowledge.
