Forbes: California Lurches Towards Socialism — New Golden State Legislation Could Upend Capitalism In U.S.
California Lurches Towards Socialism — New Golden State Legislation Could Upend Capitalism In U.S.
California socialists want to control most fast-food outlets through extensive regulations, leading to a fight with the restaurant industry. With enough signatures obtained to get a referendum on the ballot this November, socialists are pushing a bill to destroy the independence of small-business owners, gutting the traditional franchise model. This model has implications as a way that socialists hope to control the private sector.

Newsbusters: Column: Inflammatory PBS Warns About Trump's Rhetoric
Column: Inflammatory PBS Warns About Trump's Rhetoric
PBS livestreams Biden's inflammatory speech without any explanatory text on screen, yet inserts a warning label during Trump's speech, stating that such rhetoric could prompt violence. Liberal Mediaite calls it a "jawdropping warning label" and a "concerning next step in the infantilization of television viewers." PBS has a long history of unloading inflammatory rhetoric themselves without any warnings about potential violence.

Fox News: New Supreme Court poll reveals Americans’ clear message to Congress
New Supreme Court poll reveals Americans’ clear message to Congress
The left's campaign to delegitimize the US Supreme Court and change its structure is strongly opposed by Americans, according to a Mason-Dixon poll commissioned by the First Liberty Institute. The poll also found that 91% of Americans believe in an independent judiciary and 69% do not want Congress to set rules for judicial ethics. Although Justice Clarence Thomas and other Court members have been subjected to accusations of ethical misconduct in media reports, 68% of Americans oppose the radical left's plan to "pack the Court," and 59% disapprove of attacks on Justices' integrity. The preservation of an independent judiciary is necessary for safeguarding civil liberties and upholding the rule of law.

American Thinker: Western Governments Embrace the Tiananmen Square Mentality
Western Governments Embrace the Tiananmen Square Mentality
The Tiananmen Square Massacre set the stage for government tyranny worldwide. In Europe, the fall of communism followed public movements for liberty while in China, the one-party communist State's power grew. Western governments chose to ignore China's crimes against humanity for the sake of material greed, empowering China economically, militarily, and reputationally. The collapse of the Iron Curtain and the Tiananmen Square Massacre remain cautionary tales. The West must stand for human freedom against State-engineered barbarity to preserve human freedom at home. Western governments do not speak of China's tyranny as to do so undermines their own authority, but popular movements are invigorated with the same revolutionary spirit that brought down the Berlin Wall.

American Thinker: Photos: Anybody buying that 'Pride' merchandise at Target?
Photos: Anybody buying that 'Pride' merchandise at Target?
Target's LGBTQ+ themed merchandise appears to not be selling despite it remaining fully stocked in different departments across the store. Having once worked there, the individual visiting these Target shops notes that restocking for this type of seasonal merchandise is usually done early in the morning and then again through the morning if the shelves are not completely filled. This means that it is likely the merchandise has been left untouched for days. It is unclear who made the marketing decision to stock so much of this merchandise, but it poses the question of a complete failure to understand and respect the Target customers’ buying preferences.

Red State: Good Morning America, Wake up and Smell What's Happening: ABC Reporter Says It's Too Dangerous to Film in Downtown SF
Good Morning America, Wake up and Smell What's Happening: ABC Reporter Says It's Too Dangerous to Film in Downtown SF
San Francisco is becoming dangerously decadent and unsafe due to defunding the police and woke, soft-on-crime district attorneys. Conservative author Shelby Steele and his filmmaker son Eli were robbed of tens of thousands of dollars while filming a documentary exploring how defunding the police has hurt society, while ABC reporter Matt Gutman admitted that downtown San Francisco was too dangerous for his crew to film. Gutman described how the mall company Westfield had stopped paying on its over $500 million mortgage for a property now only 55 percent occupied, and Mayor London Breed gaslit the audience by talking up the positives of people moving to San Francisco when its population is in decline.

American Thinker: Do Not Underestimate Russia’s Resolve
Do Not Underestimate Russia’s Resolve
Russia’s history of being invaded by Europeans six times since the United States was founded, including Germany in 1941, has led to a Russian view of power politics that is “bottom up” and defends self-help as a necessity to protect their interests. The US, on the other hand, sees its power as based on an “ideologically charged missionary spirit” to spread democracy and moralizing rhetoric. This has led to opposing views, with Western elites seeing a Russia starting a war in Ukraine as a first step to reconstructing the old Soviet bloc, and Russian-friendly pundits seeing it as a necessary preventive war of self-defense, providing a text-book example of “the security dilemma.” The West sees it Russia violating Ukraine’s sovereignty whereas Russia sees Ukraine joining NATO as an unacceptable potential military threat, setting off an existential fight between Russia and the West, endangering the possibility of world peace.

Washington Free Beacon: Biden's (Iran) Deal That Dare Not Speak Its Name
Biden's (Iran) Deal That Dare Not Speak Its Name
American national security is under threat from a foreign power that has spent decades plotting America's downfall. The Islamic Republic of Iran is the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism, and has brutally suppressed a popular revolt against their theocratic rule. President Biden is on the verge of rewarding the regime with billions of dollars in payments in exchange for the release of U.S. prisoners and other demands. This "deal" will have no force as it bypasses congressional review, and is limited in scope, bereft of accountability, and lacks strategic purpose. This move is a dangerous form of appeasement that does nothing to further the cause of democracy .

Flag And Cross: Israel Emerging As A World Contender In Ball Sports
Israel Emerging As A World Contender In Ball Sports
Israel's love for basketball and football leaves other sports to be neglected in the media. However, Israel has excelled in non-traditional sports like judo, sailing, and gymnastics. The country's first Olympic participation in ball team sport since 1976 was the baseball team, which ranked sixth in the World Baseball Classic and qualified for the 2020 Olympics. Lack of sponsorship and TV rights, as well as allocation of government budget to defense, results in a lack of resources and infrastructure for niche sports in Israel. Travel restrictions also make it tougher for athletes to participate in global tournaments. Nevertheless, Israeli athletes are slowly changing perceptions through their achievements, inspiring the younger generation to pursue their dreams.
