The Epoch Times: MP Chong Questions Why Still No Arrests Made in Relation to Chinese Police Stations After 8 Months
Conservative MP Michael Chong questions why there have been no arrests in Canada after a Canadian resident was coerced into returning to China through the schemes of agents in relation to secret Chinese police stations established overseas. He points out that Beijing has brazenly admitted to five of these stations and that they are being used to coerce people back to China. The US has already arrested Chinese agents for these threat activities. Meanwhile, concerns are growing that Chinese police stations are being used to facilitate Beijing’s forced repatriation program, with some 230,000 Chinese citizens living outside of the country being forcibly returned between April 2021 and July 2022.

The Epoch Times: Gas Price Data, Critics Dispute Schumer Claim Democrats Have Lowered Energy Costs
The Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer claimed that Democrats have lowered energy costs, among other cost-cutting claims. However, Schumer did not provide evidence or clarification of his statement. Despite the mixed data from the Energy Information Agency and Bureau of Labor Statistics, the price of gas at the pump remains the most prominent energy cost for most consumers, leading to criticisms of the Biden administration's policies from Capitol Hill and energy advocates. Republicans argue that the policies have increased costs with American energy production under attack since the Biden administration's regulatory policy was enacted. They are advocating for a pro-American energy agenda.
Fox News: Biden bizarrely ends Connecticut speech with 'God Save the Queen,' sparking uproar: 'Truly incapacitated'
President Biden caused confusion after he closed his speech at a Connecticut summit with the phrase "God Save the Queen, man." Observers were left astounded as the United States declared independence from Britain in 1776 and Connecticut was one of the first 13 colonies to ratify the US Constitution. Biden spoke at the National Safer Communities Summit in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he urged Congress to pass background check laws on firearms. Many interpreted the phrase as a cognitive slip, prompting speculation about the president’s ability to lead the country.
Forbes: Another Congressional Staffer Attacked—Rep. Finstad Blames ‘Anti-Police’ Policies
A staffer for Rep. Brad Finstad (R-Minn.) was attacked at gunpoint outside his home in D.C. after a congressional baseball game for charity. The male staffer suffered minor injuries and is expected to recover. Finstad linked the attack to what he called “anti-police, soft-on-crime policies,” citing Democrat-backed criminal justice reforms. The incident is the latest in a series of violent attacks against federal lawmakers and their aides. Last year, Capitol Police recorded 7,500 threats against members of Congress.
The Epoch Times: Cory Morgan: The Mounting 'Yes Minister' Moments Are Not So Funny
Ministers claiming ignorance in controversial issues have been dominating the news. While CSIS sent reports on CCP funding election candidates to the Privy Council office, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he was never briefed on the issue himself. The plausible deniability card can only be played so many times before citizens lose trust in the government and cynicism spreads among citizens.
Fox News: Maine lobstermen catch big court victory against Biden administration's 'egregious' regulations
Maine lobstermen won against the Biden administration in court over regulations that threatened their livelihood. The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) enforced a new rule aimed at protecting the endangered North Atlantic right whale last year by imposing operating limits on lobster fisheries and setting new technical standards on how much lobster trap rope could be in the water. The rule would cut in half the number of traps deployed by family-owned lobster fisheries, which led to the Maine Lobstermen's Association suing NMFS. Judge Douglas Ginsburg from the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit chastised the government's theory, stating that the Service’s legal reasoning was "not just wrong; it was egregiously wrong." The judge sided with the Maine Lobstermen's Association and accused the agency of historical hypocrisy in its rulemaking. Dustin Delano from the New England Fishermen’s Stewardship Association says that the Friday court decision is a welcomed moral boost to the fishing industry that has been drowning in overreaching regulations. The Maine Lobsterman's Association beat the Biden administration in court Friday.

Former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has been ordered to pay a $475,000 conflict-of-interest fine for misusing NYPD officers as his security detail during his unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign. The Conflicts of Interest Board ordered de Blasio to repay $319,794.20 for travel costs associated with his presidential bid and issued a $155,000 fine. De Blasio claimed that the report contained "inconsistencies" and "inaccuracies" and has filed a lawsuit to block the board's decision. His lawyer argues that de Blasio was entitled to the security detail, and the ruling "threatens the safety and security of our democratically elected public servants."

Breitbart: Trump: Establishment After Me Because I Stand Up to Their 'Failed' Foreign Policy
Former President Donald Trump responds to Tucker Carlson's commentary that the Washington establishment hates him because he opposes their failed foreign policy agenda. Trump rejects their foreign wars, globalist trade deals, open border catastrophes, corruption, and betrayal of the American people. He refuses to bend the knee to their next endless war in Ukraine, wants peace, and wants to end the war between Ukraine and Russia. Despite the massive criminality and corruption of the Clintons, Bidens, Obamas, and all the rest, none of them ever get indicted or ever get investigated. They are totally protected by a fake and disgusting system, but he did everything right and the system tries to throw him right into jail. He is going to take on all of the forces that are trying to destroy this country and win for the people in 2024.

The Epoch Times: US Consumer Sentiment Jumps to Four-Month High on Debt-Cap Deal
US consumer sentiment rose in June as inflation concerns eased, after falling in May due to debt-ceiling fears. The University of Michigan’s Survey of Consumers found near-term inflation expectations plunged to their lowest level in over two years in June, while the outlook for the next five years improved slightly. This followed the release of Department of Labor data showing a decline in annual consumer and producer prices in May, mainly due to lower energy costs. Despite consumer optimism, the Federal Reserve is planning two interest rate hikes of 25 basis points each.

A recent clinical trial found that supplementation with NAC and glycine can address glutathione deficiency and help reduce aging indicators in older people.

Red State: Australia Ruins Women's Sports, Will Allow Men to Compete
The Australian Sports Commission has recommended that transgender athletes be allowed to take part in high-level women's sports events if they undergo hormone suppression. The voluntary guidelines suggest the athletes keep their testosterone plasma levels below 2.5 nanomoles per litre for two years prior to competing, a requirement that could be altered according to sport-specific needs. The move has been welcomed by transgender athletes, but criticised by the Queer Sporting Alliance, which says it could exclude those with low testosterone levels compared to cis-gendered peers.
