Townhall: Everybody's Wolves Come Home to Roost
Everybody's Wolves Come Home to Roost
The 2016 election showed how bad of a candidate Hillary Clinton was and how many Americans felt left behind by free trade agreements. Donald Trump tapped into these emotions and exposed the rot within the Republican Party. However, many in the political press do not believe this time is different and Trump loyalists may have a hard time understanding the severity of his federal indictment. Trump must make wise decisions if he wants to avoid prison.

Australia's Indigenous Minister Linda Burney accused campaigners against the Indigenous Voice to Parliament proposal of engaging in "Trump politics" and spreading misinformation. Burney criticized the No campaign's post-truth approach to politics, using misinformation on social media to polarize people. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also accused opponents of spreading misinformation on social media and argued that constitutional change was necessary to protect Australia's democracy. However, some migrants say the campaign has become vitriolic, and former High Court Justice Ian Callinan criticized the Yes campaign's presumptuousness and paternalism.

Waltz: We Should 'Pull Back' to Match Europe's Level of Ukraine Aid if They Won't Step up
Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) called on Europe to increase its aid to Ukraine, saying the U.S. should "pull back" its assistance to match European levels unless they step up. The U.S. currently provides two-thirds of military aid, despite the similar size of the U.S. and European economies, which Waltz called "unacceptable." He also said that nonmilitary aid needs "caps" and "real guardrails," and Congress will have a major say in funding.

Desensitization to Rationalization
A group of first-year medical residents at Martin Luther King Jr./Charles R. Drew Medical Center are given the option to participate in abortion training. One resident, Eloise, refuses and is allowed to leave while the others observe. Townhall: If 'Banned' Books Are Harmless, Joe Biden Should Read Them to Kids
If 'Banned' Books Are Harmless, Joe Biden Should Read Them to Kids
Joe Biden plans to appoint a "banned book" czar to compel local communities to stock their libraries with race-obsessed pseudohistories and explicit books about sex, rape, and gender dysphoria. The move has been met with criticism. Many of the books, featuring sexually explicit scenes, have minority and gay characters. Some are meant to normalize trendy pseudoscientific jargon and ideas among kindergarteners and first graders, filling their heads with words like "non-binary," "gender fluid," and "gender expansive." Parents should have a say in what their children read and learn.

The woman has accused Bauer of assaulting her in late 2020, with Bauer denying the allegations, countering that the woman had tried to extort money from him. After the suspension, Bauer was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers and now plays in Japan.
