Breitbart: 'First Step Act' Helps Illegal Terrorist Financier Get Freed Early from Prison
An illegal alien, convicted of providing support to Hezbollah, was released from prison early due to the First Step Act, which Trump signed into law in 2018. Mohamad Youssef Hammoud was sentenced in 2003 to 30 years in prison for several criminal charges, including money laundering, cigarette smuggling, and immigration fraud. He had led an Islamic terrorist cell in North Carolina and used fake marriages to stay in the country. Hammoud's release has caused concern among Republicans who are calling for the repeal of the First Step Act.
Fox News: Dodgers honor anti-Catholic drag 'nuns' more than an hour before first pitch inside nearly empty stadium
The Los Angeles Dodgers faced protests before their Pride Night event honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, with a large group gathering to make clear their opposition. Despite the reaction of some fans, the stadium announcer declared that the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, LA chapter, were the Dodgers' community hero award winners for their services to the LGBTQ+ community. The move angered some Christian fans, prompting Dodgers player Clayton Kershaw to announce the team's re-launch of Christian Faith and Family Day in response to the organization's decision.
Breitbart: Strzok: ‘Donald Trump Is a Counterintelligence Nightmare Still to This Day’
Former FBI agent Peter Strzok called former President Donald Trump a "counterintelligence nightmare still to this day" due to his fascination with classified information, which he treated like shiny baubles. Strzok warned that there are huge national security implications from Trump's behavior and that it could put someone's life at risk or disclose the capabilities of a satellite. He also suggested that there was a high chance that Trump carried classified information with him everywhere he went, including at Bedminster and Trump Tower.

Townhall: Iran’s Future Is in Democracy, One That Rejects Both Theocracy and Monarchy
Iranian-Americans believe that big changes in Iran are within reach, but questions remain about what the future of Iran holds without the ayatollahs. Protests calling for the overthrow of the clerical regime and its intolerant ideology have been met with violence and oppression, but Iranians from all backgrounds remain committed to regime change and a democratic republic. Despite calls from some to return to a hereditary monarchy, the goal of the uprising is the establishment of democratic rule and a legal framework for basic freedoms. The National Council of Resistance of Iran’s ten-point plan for Iran’s future is widely endorsed by members of the US House of Representatives and foreign policy experts throughout Europe and North America.

The Epoch Times: Florida Man Gets 5-Year Sentence for Assaulting Officer During Jan. 6 Breach
Florida man Mason Joel Courson has been sentenced to 57 months in prison for assaulting a police officer during the Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021. Courson pleaded guilty in November 2022 after being charged in December 2021. Courson was positioned at the bottom of the steps and attacked the officer with a police baton while other protesters struck him with different objects. Courson has also been ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay $2,000 in restitution. This is among one of the nearly 350 cases of individuals charged specifically with assaulting or impeding law enforcement during the Capitol break-in.
Jay Johnston, a 54-year-old actor from Los Angeles known for his roles in popular television shows and movies such as “Arrested Development,” was recently arrested and charged on counts of interfering with law enforcement during the Capitol breach. Surveillance footage captured an individual resembling Johnston participating in the incident. Johnston allegedly took possession of a stolen riot shield belonging to the Capitol Police and subsequently handed it to another individual. Flight records indicated that Johnston had round-trip reservations from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. in January 2021.

Townhall: If You’re Concerned About a Radical Dominionist Takeover of America, Look to the Left Not the Right
The real danger in America is not the radical right wing, but the radical left's dominionist takeover. This can be seen in the FBI investigating bomb threats towards Target stores over backlash against the company's Pride Month products, the emergence of Trantifa - hard-left transgender activists who flirt with violence to promote their radical agenda - and CEO of BlackRock, Larry Fink, forcing behaviors on companies leading to increasingly illogical and pro-trans business decisions being made. Legislation in California that would remove children from parental care if parents refuse to affirm their non-verifiable, subjective feelings of gender identity is similarly extreme. Dissenting speech is also being punished, with Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass being dropped by his organization for calling for anti-LGBTQ boycotts.
Townhall: What's Really to Blame for the Canadian Wildfires
Wildfires in Canada have caused thick smoke to cover parts of the US and Eastern Canada, posing health hazards to residents. The fires were caused by dry conditions, pine beetle infestations, and lack of functional fire prevention measures. Environmental groups blame man-made climate change but experts say government policies and forest mismanagement are to blame.
Breitbart: Study: 24,000 Fewer Abortions in U.S. Following Dobbs Decision
The Supreme Court's Dobbs decision led to 24,290 fewer legal abortions between July 2022 and March 2023, according to a new study from . The study found that there were approximately 93,575 fewer abortions in states that limited abortion for at least one week in the nine-month period after Roe v. Wade was overturned, but there were also large numbers of new patients in states bordering the South where an abortion is almost impossible to obtain. However, the report found that many people traveled and successfully obtained abortions within the U.S. health care system.
