The Economist: Why Europe’s asylum policy desperately needs rebooting
Europe's asylum policy is in disarray, with an inadequate system leaving thousands dead in the Mediterranean and escalating the rise of far-right politicians. The Dublin convention has proved difficult to manage, with the spikes in numbers causing inevitable failures. However, a new EU agreement reached on June 8th means an element of mandatory solidarity will force countries beyond the front lines to take in at least 30k asylum-seekers a year. Southern countries will have to host camps where some migrants' asylum claims will be processed, in exchange, a sum of €20k per migrant will be paid into an EU fund by the countries that refuse.

The Federalist: Does Anyone Think DeSantis Won't Get Impeached Or Framed?
The DOJ's indictment of Trump is just one more example of the government's corruption and lawlessness towards Republicans, as demonstrated by the biased spy agencies and the media functioning as a propaganda tool to frame dissidents. Any Republican who questions the unelected, Congress-defying security state won't escape the "Trump treatment." If D.C. Republicans want any president but Trump, they must fight back against his persecution relentlessly. The long-term goal of the left is to outlaw the ideological platform that made the new GOP competitive in the first place.
American Thinker: The FBI is Now a Democrat SuperPAC
The FBI has failed to uphold its mission of protecting American people and upholding the U.S. Constitution, instead becoming a Democrat Party superPAC. Their misuse of Clinton campaign opposition research to spy on Donald Trump's presidential campaign and deliberate lying to FISA courts undermine their supposed integrity. Additionally, the FBI suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story, changed the 2020 election, and targeted Trump supporters while protecting firms tied to the Chinese Communist Party holding U.S. voter data in mainland China. The FBI is protecting the Democrats, and Republicans need to take action to hold them accountable.
American Thinker: Rules of the Soros-sphere
George Soros has reportedly given control of his financial empire to his son, but left-wing prosecutors nurtured by him continue to create social disarray. New York must now surrender public spaces to people who inhabit the outer fringes of sanity, providing stages and captive audiences for haranguing and threatening outbursts with unspeakably revolting scatological acts. Daniel Penny, a subway passenger minding his own business, fought back against Jordan Neely, a violent aggressor who unfortunately died during their altercation, resulting in manslaughter charges against Penny. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg withholds any benefit of the doubt upon Penny's actions and motives.
In New York, citizens are required to endure terrorization and victimhood with the duty to retreat rather than defend themselves due to the state's limitations on self-defense. The ongoing campaigns to hamper and hamstring the police prevent their confident and aggressive enforcement of the law, resulting in societal disintegration. Soros and his acolytes aim to defeat the remaining bulwark against this disintegration, the NYPD, by forcing them to retreat, contract their radius of protection, and make them hesitate to react quickly due to legal retribution against them. Soros is not the only billionaire aiding or appeasing the merchants of mayhem; however, he's the most intriguing culprit with diabolical insights into vulnerabilities and the cleverness to exploit them, investing enormous sums into projects to bring America's entire way of life crashing down.
National Review: The DOJ Has Given Donald Trump a Gift
Former president Trump has been indicted on 37 criminal counts, increasing his chances of securing the 2024 GOP nomination by galvanizing his supporters. Despite the evidence against him, his defenders are using whataboutism to deflect attention from his actions, with some even inventing imaginary crimes to exonerate him. Trump’s candidacy provides a shield for his legal defense and millions of dollars in donations, leading to an unprecedented scenario in which a man is running for president because he is in legal trouble. The capitulation of most presidential candidates to Trump shows that he remains the alpha dog in the field, and the criminal charges against him only serve to solidify his support among Republicans.
American Thinker: The quiet riot against insanity in America is gaining strength
America has gone from a prosperous nation to one that is falling into poverty, crime, and wokeness, suggesting a long-term and well-planned operation to weaken it . This is evidenced by the breakdown of the American contract, with leaders who are not beholden to Americans but rather their masters. There is also a war on the middle class and small businesses, justified by the environmental movement, which is being coopted and perverted, doing harm to the environment .
The silent majority recognizes the insanity of inner city crime, twisted justice, corrupt presidents, woke corporations, propaganda news, environmental “justice,” sexualizing children, and transgenderism. Americans are boycotting news networks that have betrayed their trust and are supporting efforts to end election fraud and clean up voter rolls .

The Epoch Times: Wyoming sorority sisters sue fraternity for inducting biological male as first ‘trans’ member
Former members of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming have launched a lawsuit against the national leadership of the organization, alleging that a policy of admitting biological males violates the sorority's bylaws and guidelines. The complainants, who were former members of the sorority, claim that a male member, Artemis Langford, has been given free access to areas where men are banned, as well as behaving inappropriately around the female members. They further claim that Langford bypassed the formal recruitment process and was improperly admitted to the sorority. The hearing is expected to be held this fall.
The Federalist: No, Democrats, These Are Not Your Kids
The Biden administration's slogan, "they're all our kids," sounds totalitarian and raises concerns about state involvement in child rearing. Public schools have become places of left-wing indoctrination, and parents have little choice but to send their kids to these institutions. Totalitarian states demand participation in all aspects of life, including sports, movies, academia, commerce, family, and morality. While pride flags may seem innocuous, forcing children to wave them in schools amounts to left-wing indoctrination. Children are not "kite strings," but human beings with rights and unique aspirations.
The Epoch Times: 'My mom-uniform': Mom of 5 wears dresses every day, celebrating femininity, modesty, and motherhood
Megan Madden, a stay-at-home mom of five and author, is making a statement about womanhood by wearing elegant-yet-modest dresses every single day. Megan's wardrobe reflects her values of femininity, modesty, and the worth of a wife and mother, and she hopes to show her kids and the world that "timeless femininity" is still compatible with modern-day motherhood. Her dresses have become not only a "mom-uniform" for her, but also a way of changing her disposition as a woman. Megan believes that motherhood doesn't mean losing our identity as women and that in it comes a deep residing peace in our identity.

Red State: Sen. Cruz Puts ESG and DEI in the Crosshairs
ESG scores and DEI initiatives have become controversial. Thirteen states have banned ESG investing in state funds, while governors like Ron DeSantis banned DEI initiatives in publicly funded universities and schools. Yet, ESG and DEI are entrenched at the federal level, as the Biden administration uses federal bureaucracy to install these policies. Sen. Ted Cruz introduced a bill that would prohibit “companies that manage investment funds held in federal employee retirement accounts from using those holdings to vote in corporate shareholder meetings to force” ESG and DEI upon private businesses. Although the bill is unlikely to pass, most Americans agree that investment decisions should be guided by maximum ROI as opposed to furthering leftist policies.

National Review: Marines Need to Move beyond Their Amphibious-Assault Past
The debate surrounding the future of the Navy’s amphibious force and the San Antonio-class LPD ships is heating up as Congress considers the National Defense Authorization Act. Some voices argue that costs should be cut down by reducing the ships’ complexity and size or stretching the time and money allocated to construct them. However, LPD construction should cease for various reasons, including the fact that the United States Marine Corps has been locked into an amphibious-assault strategy for far too long and needs to modernize its tactics as anti-access/area denial weapons have rendered future opposed amphibious assaults unlikely. Furthermore, the money allocated for LPDs could be reallocated to other Navy shipbuilding programs like submarines, destroyers, and unmanned vessels that require additional support and are essential in high-end fights.
General Berger has proposed a shift in strategic focus towards configuring the Marines to function inside anti-access/area denial zones by preemptively placing forces in theater and rapidly rotating them throughout the region while conducting long-range-fire missions against the enemy. Berger’s vision would create a lighter and more agile Marine Corps distributed throughout the archipelagic islands of the Pacific via many light amphibious warships rather than a heavier force concentrated in fewer and heavier landing-platform dock ships. Berger’s reform efforts have been rejected by many influential retired Marine generals, but the nation cannot allow arguments like “we have to keep building specific ship X to keep our workers” to be made. Although shifts in shipbuilding need to be made to prepare the Navy for combat in the Western Pacific, care must be taken to preserve the industrial base in Mississippi and Alabama currently assigned to the construction of LPDs, and new programs like Navy Medium Landing Ships and destroyers for the Navy should begin production to maintain the skilled trade workers' jobs.
The Epoch Times: American F-22 Fighter Jets Deployed to Middle East Amid Russian Aircraft Activity
The US has deployed F-22 fighter jets to the Middle East in response to increased Russian militarism, calling it a “multifaceted show of US support and capability”. CENTCOM has stated it wants to demonstrate America’s ability to “re-posture forces and deliver overwhelming power at a moment’s notice,” highlighting the superior capabilities of the F-22, “the best fifth-generation fighter in the world.” Russia’s continuous violation of agreed-upon airspace deconfliction measures and their unsafe behavior, including attacks on US drones and dogfighting over Syria, has increased the risk of escalation and miscalculation and threatens peace and stability.

The Epoch Times: Herbal First Aid Kit: Treat Acute Injuries With Natural Medicine (Part 1)
An herbal first aid kit is made up of natural remedies instead of synthetic chemicals and offers a solution for various acute conditions, including fever, swelling, and pain. Such a kit should contain 100% natural, effective remedies that are easy to transport and administer. Turmeric, a spice that contains curcumin, is a powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiviral, and antibacterial, making it useful for headaches, pain reduction, fever reduction, swelling reduction, and relief from skin irritations. Turmeric tincture and capsules are options for a first aid kit as they are easy to make and ready to dispense, but quality is essential to avoid elevated levels of heavy metals, glyphosate, and bacteria and lead.

The Epoch Times: 2 Men, Including Marine, Charged in Firebombing of California Planned Parenthood Clinic
Two men have been arrested and charged with using Molotov cocktails to firebomb a Planned Parenthood clinic in Costa Mesa, California in 2022, causing $1,050 in damage and cancelling 30 appointments. Tibet Ergul, 21, of Irvine, and Chance Brannon, 23, an active duty Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, were charged with "using an explosive or fire to damage real property affecting interstate commerce" and face up to 20 years in jail. CCTV footage caught the two men, dressed in hooded sweatshirts and masks, igniting and throwing the Molotov cocktail at the front door, before fleeing the scene. The duo, who appeared at court on 14 June, allegedly sent text messages admitting their involvement in the attack, including photographs of the bomb.

Fox News: WNBA star A’ja Wilson takes issue with Joe Biden's congratulations to Golden Knights
President Biden congratulated the Vegas Golden Knights for their Stanley Cup win, calling them the first major professional franchise in the city, snubbing the Las Vegas Aces' WNBA title from last year. Aces star A'ja Wilson expressed her offense on Twitter, citing a possible visit to the White House. Women's basketball has not had a positive experience with the White House lately, as the LSU Lady Tigers had a similar situation with first lady Jill Biden after their NCAA title earlier this year.

Flag And Cross: Research Reveals Iconic Early Human 'Lucy' Could Walk Upright Like Us
Lucy, the iconic early human who lived 3.2 million years ago, could stand as upright as us according to new research. The study recreated 36 muscles in each leg - most of which were much larger and occupied greater space compared to those of modern humans. This adds further weight to the theory that her movement was closer to our own upright stance.
