Front Page Magazine: The Idea That Terrifies Democrats, the Deep State and the DC Swamp
An idea to save America: demand politicians take periodic, random lie detector tests to expose their corrupt ties to China, drug cartels, Big Pharma, and others. Navy SEALs take these tests several times a year, so let's turn the tables on corrupt politicians and bureaucrats. If they refuse, then "you're fired!" If adopted by Donald Trump, this idea will be a game-changer in his reelection campaign.

Front Page Magazine: Biden May Let Iran Collect Billions for Release of U.S. Hostages
The Biden administration is negotiating an informal deal with Iran to limit Tehran's nuclear program and free imprisoned Americans. Iran promises not to enrich uranium beyond a certain point, will stop trying to kill Americans in Iraq, and won't aid Russia too much. In return, sanctions relief, as per usual.

Forbes: Billionaire Li Ka-Shing’s CK Hutchison And Vodafone Strike Deal To Create Britain’s Biggest Mobile Operator
CK Hutchison, owned by Hong Kong’s richest person Li Ka-shing, and Vodafone Group plan to merge their UK mobile operations to create the country's largest operator. The merged entity, which is expected to close by the end of 2024 and would invest £11bn in the UK over a decade, will offer mobile broadband to 82% of the country's households by 2030, the two companies said. CK Hutchison will control 49% of the merged entity, with Vodafone owning the rest. The deal will require approval from British regulators, and has already raised concerns from the Unit trade union over job losses and higher prices.

Fox News: Newsom owns another California crisis along with the homeless problem
California Governor Gavin Newsom acknowledged the homelessness problem in California due to high housing costs and regulatory issues. However, there is a mental health crisis associated with homelessness that needs to be addressed. The lack of long-term beds and housing for mentally ill patients is a major problem in California's healthcare system. The state needs to provide community-based services and housing to support de-institutionalizing patients with severe mental health issues. There has been a long focus on de-institutionalizing those with severe mental health problems, which sounds humane in theory, but not without the community-based services or housing to support it.

Front Page Magazine: First Muslim Majority City in U.S. Bans Gay Pride Flags
The majority-Muslim city of Hamtramck, Michigan, has banned LGBTQ+ pride flags, passing a resolution unanimously. The measure passed after members of the all-Muslim council said the pride flag clashed with the beliefs of some members of their faith. While some residents see this as bad news for diversity, others, such as Dawud Walid at the Council on American-Islamic Relations, say that Hamtramck's strict flag policy doesn't discriminate against anyone.
Forbes: From Sprite To Colgate And Small Players: How Consumer Brands Found Growth In 2022
Kantar Worldpanel's annual brand footprint report revealed that Coca-Cola remains the world's most chosen brand while Sprite saw the biggest rise in new shoppers. Growth is attained by growing penetration rather than frequency. Smaller brands, with less than 10% market penetration, are steadily growing, with 58% of them enjoying growth in 2022. Discounters channel is seeing a +10.3% value growth in 2022 with Aldi and Lidl leading the channel.
Fox News: 'Twisted Sister' frontman rejects 'transphobe' slur for opposing gender surgery on minors: 'Not gonna take it'
Dee Snider, the former "Twisted Sister" frontman, criticizes gender reassignment surgeries for minors, calling it evidence of irresponsible parenting. He insists he is still an ally of the LGBTQ community despite being called a "transphobe." Snider urged Americans to push back against the mob and their beliefs. In an interview, Snider said that "irresponsible parenting is the norm in society" and that parents should not steer their children in any direction but "should support and accept their choices." He thinks children don't have the mental capabilities to make rational and logical decisions on life-altering things that will affect them for the rest of their lives.
Snider stood strong after the LGBTQ organization SF Pride announced that he would no longer perform his song "We’re Not Gonna Take It" at the 2023 SF Pride festival. He said that he quoted psychiatrists from Johns Hopkins University to say his point against gender surgeries for minors. Snider accused the extreme right and left wings of bullying people for expressing a view that falls outside their respective camps and urged Americans to push back against it. He said that he disagreed with one point, but that doesn't make him a transphobe.
Spectator USA: The Flash and the downside of hype
Warner Brother's The Flash, despite boasting an impressive cast including all versions of Batman and Supergirl, is not generating the same hype as Spider-Man: No Way Home. Early reviews show only a 71% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes and opening weekend projections are set at around $70 million, which is far below the $200 million budget. Meanwhile, the industry has become increasingly desperate to promote its products in any way possible, as evidenced by the recent high-profile disappointments at Cannes Film Festival, such as The Idol.
Although audiences are not necessarily becoming more discerning, they are less likely to believe marketing claims that films will "change their lives." Despite this, curiosity may drive some people to see The Flash or Indiana Jones 5, but the industry should not bank on them bringing the same success as before. The CEO of Warner Bros., David Zaslav, may believe The Flash to be "the greatest superhero film ever," but early results show otherwise.
