Washington Free Beacon: Newsom Met With Sheriff Who Wants To Prosecute DeSantis Over Migrant Flight
Newsom Met With Sheriff Who Wants To Prosecute DeSantis Over Migrant Flight
A Texas sheriff may press charges against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for flying 49 migrants to Martha's Vineyard, after meeting with California Governor Gavin Newsom. Newsom has threatened DeSantis with kidnapping charges over migrant flights to Sacramento, but DeSantis dismissed the threat and accused Newsom of hypocrisy. Legal scholar Jonathan Turley called Newsom's threat "pathetic." The sheriff in question appears to be Bexar County Democrat Javier Salazar, who has filed charges in the case of the 49 migrants. Neither DeSantis nor Newsom's office has commented.

Calif. Democrat accuses Muslim colleague of White supremacy for not backing race-based law
California Democratic lawmaker accuses Republican colleague of White supremacy for opposing bill to use state funds for race-based programs. The measure, proposed by Assemblymember Corey Jackson, would amend the state’s constitution to fund programs “established or otherwise implemented by the state for purposes of increasing the life expectancy of, improving educational outcomes for, or lifting out of poverty” specific groups based on race. The bill passed the state assembly’s Judiciary Committee along party lines Tuesday and was referred to the state Appropriations Committee. The Republican assembly member, Bill Essayli, called the bill backwards, arguing that everyone should be treated equally by the government.

The New American: Pence Calls for National Ban on Abortion - The New American
Pence Calls for National Ban on Abortion - The New American
Mike Pence calls for a national ban on abortion, taking a political shot at Trump who opposes a national law, but Biden has urged Congress to enact a federal statute legalizing abortion in all 50 states. The Supreme Court's Dobbs ruling did not say that Congress could ban abortion nationally, and there is no constitutional authority for Congress to enact a law either banning abortion or legalizing abortion in any of the states. There is a risk of the destruction of our "free government" if the Constitution is usurped on this issue or any other issue.

Rod Blagojevich attacks 'Soviet-style politics' behind Trump charges: 'Stalin is dancing in the streets'
Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich accuses the Justice Department, mainstream media, and extremists within his own party of trying to destroy democracy. He spoke out against the "weaponized" justice system following the federal indictment of former President Donald Trump, who faces decades in prison if convicted. Blagojevich, who himself was convicted on corruption charges and served a 14-year prison sentence before Trump commuted it, argues that the justice system is corrupt, dishonest, and rigged. Republicans share his sentiments and claim that the Justice Department is weaponized against political opponents.

A new report suggests that the arrangement between the Bidens and a foreign national was one of coercion rather than bribery. The FD-1023 form contains explosive claims, stating that Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky, an SVR asset, possesses 17 audio recordings that implicate the Bidens in a pay-to-play scandal. The FBI has been uncooperative regarding these accusations.

He referenced the case of pro-life activist Mark Houck, who was arrested under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act but eventually acquitted. Cotton argued that Trump should not be prosecuted on a stretch case or novel legal theories as he is the opposition party’s leading candidate for the presidency.

Biden pick for counterterror post botched handling of Hezbollah, Cruz says: 'Utterly disqualifying'
Sen. Ted Cruz clashes with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen over the nomination of Ambassador Elizabeth Richard for counterterrorism coordinator, citing her failures during her time as ambassador to Lebanon and accusing her of being unfit and unqualified to serve in the post. Cruz cites the case of Amer Fakhoury, a former U.S. hostage who spent six months detained in Lebanon after a Hezbollah-backed newspaper accused him of torturing Hezbollah and Palestinian prisoners in the 1980s and 1990s. Fakhoury died five months after his return to the U.S. Cruz accuses Richard of directly funding Hezbollah by supporting the establishment of ISF facilities.

Whoopi: Donald Trump Was A Sign Sent To Show America What Needed Fixing
Whoopi Goldberg suggested that former President Donald Trump was sent to the United States to highlight real problems in the country. She argued that strange happenings over the past decade have been meant to show where the problems lie. Goldberg also expressed concern that there was no discussion of preventing Trump from running for president if he were convicted and sentenced to prison. She and the other hosts of "The View" supported the idea of a constitutional amendment to address this issue.

Breitbart: German Populist AfD Overtakes Chancellor Scholz's Social Democrats
German Populist AfD Overtakes Chancellor Scholz's Social Democrats
The right-wing Alternative for Germany party has overtaken the left-wing Social Democrats in German polls, reaching 19% in popularity due to the government's failures on energy, cost of living and the war in Ukraine. However, the CDU and CSU would still be the largest party in the country if an election were to happen this week. The rise of the AfD represents growing resentment against the current government's leadership, which is out-of-touch with the people and has been pushing forward with a radical green agenda amid energy crises and cost of living crises. Despite calls for a ban on the AfD, it would not hold up in court.

WATCH: Media Admits to Shutting Down Trump Coverage (for Our Own Good, of Course)
MSNBC and CNN have both refused to cover remarks made by former President Donald Trump, with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow citing a "cost to us as a news organization to knowingly broadcast untrue things." CNN's Jake Tapper called Trump's address "a spectacle and into a campaign ad," and claimed that the former president "says a lot of things that are not true and sometimes potentially dangerous." Fired former CNN media critic Brian Stelter defended the decisions, citing a demand for truth. Critics have accused the networks of censoring opposition views and interfering in the election process.

The Epoch Times: Indict Walt Nauta?
Indict Walt Nauta?
Former Trump aide and Navy veteran Walt Nauta has been indicted for allegedly making false statements to the FBI after refusing to cooperate with the special counsel in efforts to convict Trump. The indictment raised questions about justice and whether bigger fish, such as the likes of former FBI director Andrew McCabe, are being overlooked for far more serious crimes than those Nauta is accused of. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton have avoided facing legal consequences for allegedly committing major crimes such as improperly handling classified documents and destroying subpoenaed items.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was warned about using the term extensively, and President Biden has also referred to his political opponents as "MAGA Republicans." Although a complaint was filed against Jean-Pierre, the OSC has decided not to pursue disciplinary action but has issued a warning letter. The memo was also circulated among federal employees to avoid using the term "MAGA" while acting in their official capacity.

While Fox never suggested that the station stop publishing all Pride stories, she did suggest they need to discern the newsworthiness of each event.

Demi Lovato ‘Got Tired’ of Her ‘They/Them’ Pronouns: Was ‘Exhausting’
Singer Demi Lovato has switched back to "she/her" pronouns mid-way through Pride Month, finding it "exhausting" to get others to use "they/them" pronouns which she had been using since coming out as non-binary. Lovato said constantly educating people about her pronouns was "absolutely exhausting" and has led her to feel more comfortable with the feminine pronoun. She previously expressed discomfort when using women's restrooms, saying she would prefer a genderless bathroom. Twitter users called the situation ridiculous and labeled Lovato as seeking attention.

The Supreme Court upheld the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA), a racially discriminatory adoption law aimed at preventing non-Indian families from adopting Native American children. The Biden administration argued in favor of the act, which generally requires that Native children living outside of tribal lands be placed with members of their extended family or tribe. Conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the ruling, arguing that the ICWA was unconstitutional.

American Thinker: Thesaurus.com goes Gramsci?
Thesaurus.com goes Gramsci?
Thesaurus.com's lack of negative synonyms for "godless" aligns with Antonio Gramsci's strategy of commandeering institutions to change society by rewriting language. Thesaurus.com is owned by political benefactor Dan Gilbert, who supports both parties. The absence of negative synonyms for "godless" implies a society without Judeo-Christian morals, aligning with the goals of leftism. Gilbert's donor strategy lines pockets of both parties to guarantee allies. The absence of moral principle and the funding of a Mao admirer suggest a corrupted Uniparty.

Demi Lovato has returned to using "she/her" pronouns after finding it "exhausting" to constantly educate people on the use of "they/them" pronouns. Lovato came out as non-binary in 2021 and added "she/her" the same year, but has now resumed using "she/her" exclusively. Lovato also expressed feelings of oppression due to the lack of gender-neutral spaces and the limited choices on government forms.

Putin spent over two hours talking to war correspondents about the war in Ukraine. He refused to accept that the goals of the "special military operation" had changed in any way. Instead, he blamed the United States for driving Ukraine to war and claimed any peace would be achieved by direct talks with them. Putin seems to be lining up a lengthy list of potential scapegoats in case things go wrong. He was simply "hoping" that what was needed was being done.

He stressed the need for further U.S. backing to enhance deterrence against China's assertive move in the region.

Whipps also reaffirmed Palau's commitment to maintaining diplomatic relations with Taiwan despite a significant decline in Chinese tourists visiting the country as a result, and criticized China's violation of international rules-based order by conducting surveying activities in Palau's waters "without our permission." He visited Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant during his trip to Japan and expressed his trust in Japan's safety measures for the planned release of treated radioactive wastewater into the Pacific Ocean this summer.

A Massachusetts judge has denied a college official's request for immunity from legal action after a professor sued for refusal of a religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine. Sin denied Fullen's request for religious exemption from the COVID-19 vaccine and fired Fullen after she failed to take the vaccine. CDC study shows that the suicide rate among those age 10-24 increased by 62% from 2007 to 2021, while the homicide rate for the age group increased by 37% from 2019 to 2020. A psychiatrist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center said that the isolation of COVID-19 lockdowns could be a contributing factor.

The pandemic may have negatively impacted young Americans academically, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress. The average US history and civics scores dropped by five and two points, respectively, among eighth graders, while average math and reading scores saw their largest decline between 2019 and 2022, indicating a 'profound toll on student learning during the pandemic.' There has been a growing push to ban the teaching of controversial concepts like critical race theory in public schools, which some believe to be contributing to the decline.
