Fox News: GOP senators demand Biden comply with COVID origins transparency law as deadline approaches
GOP senators demand Biden comply with COVID origins transparency law as deadline approaches
Republican senators are demanding that President Biden comply with the COVID origins bill he signed into law earlier this year, which requires the declassification of all information pertaining to the links between a Chinese lab and the origin of COVID-19. The deadline for declassification is June 18 and the Biden administration has yet to act on the requirements laid out in the COVID-19 Origin Act of 2023.

Sens. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., and Mike Braun, R-Ind., wrote in a letter to Biden that the law doesn't allow for any redaction to the information, but that it did provide for narrower scope of redaction in order "to protect intelligence sources and methods." Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

Townhall: Trump Should Return to Being Unpredictable
Trump Should Return to Being Unpredictable
Former President Donald Trump could improve his legacy and help the country by withdrawing from the presidential race and endorsing a Republican candidate for 2024, surprising the Democrats and forcing President Joe Biden not to run for re-election. With serious national security concerns, including adversaries China and Russia working against the U.S. and a porous southern border, America must get it right in 2024. Trump's unexpected move would reverse his fortunes and improve his legacy, earning him support and friendship in the White House, and allowing him to give an endorsement that could help ensure a Republican victory in 2024.

Townhall: Do Your Jury Duty to Fight Tyranny
Do Your Jury Duty to Fight Tyranny
Conservatives need to show up for jury duty and be honest during voir dire. The jury determines factual determinations, while the judge handles the administration of legal proceedings. The strength of a jury's factual determinations cannot be appealed, making it the point of failure for tyranny. Conservatives must fight back against lawfare being waged against patriotic Americans by participating in the jury system.

Fox News: Italian prince explains decision to renounce throne to fashion model daughter, 19
Italian prince explains decision to renounce throne to fashion model daughter, 19
Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy plans to renounce his claim to the throne for his daughter, Princess Vittoria, in honor of a more modern approach to the monarchy. The 19-year-old is currently studying political science and art history in the UK and models on the side. Prince Vittorio Emanuele has changed an ancient custom known as the Salic Law, which excluded women from the line of succession and his decree grants his granddaughter the power to eventually lead the family. There is no crown to fight over, and zero plans for a monarchy to be restored in Italy. Instead, Filiberto said they could make a difference in supporting Italy globally.

Fox News: Iran expanding influence 'with impunity' in America's backyard, congresswoman says
Iran expanding influence 'with impunity' in America's backyard, congresswoman says
Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar accused the Biden administration of having a weak policy towards Latin America and allowing countries like Iran to establish a foothold in the region. Salazar noted that Iran's President Raisi's visit to Latin America shows the failure of the administration's policy towards the region. She called on the administration to repair relationships with friends in the region to form a united front against countries that invite the Islamic regime's terrorist regime into the hemisphere.

Iran's President Raisi began a visit to Latin America with plans to visit Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba to expand bilateral cooperation, including economic, political, and scientific issues. Raisi met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and called for strategic relations between the two countries. Salazar believes that the visit shows the failure of the administration's policy towards Latin America. Iran has worked to coordinate economic and military maneuvers against the US with Venezuela. The ultimate goal for Iran is to build alliances with like-minded movements and governments and erode US influence in the Western Hemisphere.

Townhall: Iran's Uprising Is Far from Over
Iran's Uprising Is Far from Over
The Iranian regime's crackdown on dissent continues, with at least 300 executions since the start of 2022. Despite the regime's claims that the nationwide uprising in Iran has been quelled, activists share videos on social media that suggest slogans remain in circulation. Western policymakers are being urged to hold the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran accountable for its crimes, and to stand with the Iranian people in their quest for change. A global demonstration is scheduled for July 1st in Paris, to show solidarity with the Iranian opposition and to reiterate calls for Western governments to adopt more assertive policies to support the fight for regime change.

Fox News: 'Our country needs help': Americans in nation's biggest blue city grade President Biden's performance
'Our country needs help': Americans in nation's biggest blue city grade President Biden's performance
Americans in New York City are giving President Biden lackluster grades, with many citing the economy as the primary concern. A Quinnipiac University poll shows Biden with a 42% approval rating, with 33% approval on economic issues. Some Americans approved of Biden's handling of foreign affairs, including the Russia-Ukraine situation. However, there were concerns about his age and health, as well as his ability to handle gun policies and immigration. Overall, Americans graded Biden as "passable but not exceptional."

Fox News: Artificial intelligence may change labor market but doesn't need to cause long-term harm
Artificial intelligence may change labor market but doesn't need to cause long-term harm
Artificial intelligence (AI) contributed to 4.9% of layoffs in May, leading companies like IBM to halt hiring for positions they foresee being automated. Although the growth of AI may be unsettling for those who rely on their jobs for economic stability, it holds potential for significant benefits for humanity. AI technologies can perform repetitive tasks, improving human lives by automating daily operations and allowing people to focus on tasks that require creativity and human ingenuity. However, individuals in jobs that can be readily replaced by lower-cost AI technologies may need to retrain and pursue work in other areas.

Private and public sector response is necessary in helping displaced workers retrain and transition between employers or industries. Educational offerings can help workers learn to use AI tools effectively and become drivers of the change. Incentives like tax breaks and subsidized tuition can help incentivize companies to invest in their workers, while job-guarantee programs can ensure that those displaced by automation don't bear the brunt of the transition alone. With the proper policies in place, technology will drive progress and create new opportunities for all, but public acceptance of AI is key to achieving these benefits.

Without Pete Alonso And Aaron Judge, Mets And Yankees Deliver Entertaining Action
The Mets and Yankees had a wild "Subway Series" with unique occurrences including a misplayed fly ball, a sticky substance ejection, a straight steal of home, a shift violation, and a walkoff hit. The games compensated for the absences of Aaron Judge and Pete Alonso and left the Yankees at 39-30 and the Mets at an underwhelming 32-36.

Fox News: Artificial intelligence won't likely reach human-like levels without this one key component, study finds
Artificial intelligence won't likely reach human-like levels without this one key component, study finds
Researchers at the University of Sheffield have found that artificial intelligence (AI) cannot replicate human-like cognition unless they connect to robots and incorporate evolutionary principles. The study, which argued that human intelligence is developed due to the complicated subsystems of the brain that all vertebrates share and the experiences in the real world to learn and improve through evolution, called for a change in building AI systems for robots. The researchers suggested that if AI systems were built with architectures that learn and improve in similar ways to how the human brain does by connecting to the real world, it could replicate human-like cognition.

Fox News: California's Lightning Motors is building 'organic' motorcycles with AI
California's Lightning Motors is building 'organic' motorcycles with AI
Lightning Motorcycles is using generative AI software from AutoCAD to design complex components in a fraction of the time it would take engineers to do it manually. The software allows engineers to draw on a much greater database of ideas, making up for their limited experience. A pilot project with the software focused on a suspension swingarm for Lightning Motorcycles' higher performance version of the Lightning LS-218 superbike, which resulted in an "organic" matrix that weighs 20% less than the traditional swingarm. It reduces development costs and material costs by optimizing strength over weight. The first bikes with the swingarm are expected to be on sale by the end of this year.
