He also highlighted that agents are struggling with issues like childcare due to the pandemic.

National Review: How to Read the Trump Boxes Indictment
The recent federal indictment of Donald Trump for retaining classified documents demands a serious analysis, rather than retreating to partisan bias. Despite the skepticism associated with this indictment, there is a high legal standard that serves as evidence against Trump’s involvement in retaining those documents. However, the actions of the Biden administration and the DOJ’s track record for credibility have damaged their credibility, leaving room for public skepticism. Additionally, some allegations made in this indictment may be unprovable due to the jury’s inability to see the contents of the documents in question.
The New American: Newsom's 28th Amendment Proposal Draws More Criticism - The New American
California Governor Gavin Newsom has proposed a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution to address gun violence, focused on four broadly supported gun safety principles. These include raising the minimum age to purchase a firearm, instituting universal background checks, mandating a reasonable waiting period for gun purchases, and barring civilian purchase of assault weapons. Additionally, the amendment affirms that Congress, states, and local governments can enact additional gun safety regulations. Newsom’s proposal was met with criticism from the NRA, as well as concerns over the dangers of a constitutional convention.
Critics have expressed concern over California Governor Gavin Newsom’s proposal for a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution, aimed at tackling gun violence. The proposed amendment outlines four principles focused on gun safety, including barring civilian purchase of assault weapons, instituting universal background checks, requiring a reasonable waiting period for all gun purchases, and raising the federal minimum age for firearm purchases to 21. Critics argue that Newsom’s proposal is unnecessary due to the existence of the Second Amendment and that his idea for a constitutional convention could potentially lead to a new form of government infiltrated with corrupted politicians.

The Federalist Papers: CNN Shares the Great Lengths Network Went to Break News About Trump That Everyone Already Knew
CNN hired local high school students to run news about Trump's not guilty plea out of a Miami courtroom and dictated it to the network through pay phone after a decision to prohibit electronics inside the courthouse. The network was later criticized for declining to air Trump's post-arraignment remarks at his New Jersey golf club, citing concern for the president's tendency to say things that are "not true and sometimes potentially dangerous."
The Economist: The problems ailing Western Europe’s left are not just cyclical
The European left is struggling to gain traction in the face of rising populist right-wing parties, competition from green and radical socialist groups, and a lack of a clear vision. Social democratic parties in Western Europe have declined steadily since the global financial crisis, and despite calls for more government benefits and regulation of the economy, they are seen as too centrist and not credible enough to win. Tensions between centrists and more radical left-wing parties, as well as disagreement over ideas such as intersectional social justice and punitive anti-immigrant policies, make it difficult for the left to form a united front.

The Epoch Times: Staying Calm in the Battle for the Mind
The most effective tools of modern warfare are in the instant social media to undermine people’s will to resist or galvanize them into a certain form of mass psychosis. This battle of wills is decided by those who dominate the cognitive domain. So it matters that we know who we are. Will, based on mental and emotional focus at individual and societal levels, determines what we do and how we survive. So it is critical to ask, “Who are we?” and quite separately, “Who am I?” This was a call to balance and self-control in difficult circumstances: to stand aside from the crowd of the fear-driven. This sense of self-possession requires a deep knowledge of self and society, which can only come with a developed sense of wisdom deriving from individual experience and introspection. Interim belief systems bring a unified panic of the population masses without predetermined purpose. The fear of breaking formation causes panic. We are in that interregnum in history, as we are in an interregnum between defined periods of strategic power. We have a deep sense of identity and a committed sense of purpose: a grand strategy. During this time, it is necessary to preserve the core aspects of identity and engage in introspection.

Breitbart: Biden Adviser: 'Inflation Is Very, Very Stubborn'
White House Senior Adviser Mitch Landrieu comments on the economy, stating that while it is strong, inflation is stubborn. He suggests that with the right management, balanced discipline, and smarts, the economy can continue to improve and move towards a "soft landing," despite economists predicting a recession for the last year.

The European Central Bank lifted interest rates again, while China's central bank trimmed interest rates. UBS completed its takeover of Credit Suisse, and the Nasdaq stock exchange agreed to buy Adenza for $10.5bn. In Japan, the Nikkei stockmarket index closed above the 33,000 mark for the first time since 1990, and Toyota faced down two proxy votes at its annual general meeting. Bud Light is no longer America's bestselling beer, and New York introduced a minimum wage for food-delivery workers.
Breitbart: Biden Congratulates Labor Secretary, Ignores Buttigieg as West Coast Port Deal Reached
President Biden congratulated Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su on ending the labor dispute crippling the West Coast ports, but he did not mention Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. Dockworkers had slowed down cargo loading while negotiating with the Pacific Maritime Association over a collective bargaining agreement. The deal covers workers at all 29 West Coast ports, but parties declined to release details. Biden credited Su for her experience and judgment and congratulated the port workers for serving heroically during the pandemic. The statement did not mention Buttigieg, who has previously claimed credit for progress at the ports.
The Blaze: Horowitz: The debt bomb consuming our way of life
The GOP claims the largest spending cut in history, but it only delays the inevitable bankruptcy. Janet Yellen issued $508 billion in debt in 10 days, leading to a vicious cycle of debt, inflation, higher interest rates, housing crisis, personal debt, and high interest on the national debt. Interest on the debt is more than education, transportation, and the VA combined, leading to annual payments of $800 billion, which will permanently depress the economy and keep inflation high.
The cost of living is higher than wage growth, and the rent and housing crisis will continue, with 8 million Americans behind on rent. The debt bomb will create more pressure on inflation and induce a deep recession. Banks will be squeezed for liquidity, leading to a bailout without calling it a bailout, and more pressure on inflation. There is no happy outcome to the debt bomb being dropped upon us, and no one in Washington with meaningful power to address it.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed and Supervisor Dean Preston had a heated exchange over the city’s attempt to crack down on open-air drug markets in response to skyrocketing overdose deaths. Preston criticized Breed’s approach for contradicting the city’s overdose prevention plan and disproportionately impacting Black, brown, and indigenous communities. Breed fired back, accusing Preston of acting like the “savior” of these communities and emphasizing that force must also be used to hold accountable those who break the law and need to be potentially forced into treatment services.

The Epoch Times: COVID 'Censorship' Key Issue in Tribunal Hearings Against Ontario Doctor: Lawyer
Dr. Mark Trozzi faces having his medical license revoked for speaking out against COVID-19 public health measures, with the regulator arguing that he engaged in “professional misconduct” by making public statements condemning vaccinations. Trozzi’s lawyer, Michael Alexander, argues that this is really about the state exerting censorship, and about freedom of speech. At the heart of the case is whether the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the regulator, can limit speech to fulfil its statutory role, or whether all opinions are protected by the Charter.
The tribunal will also examine vaccine exemptions issued by Trozzi. Three guidelines were issued by the CPSO during the pandemic: doctors should not speak publicly against public health orders, should not prescribe COVID-19 alternative treatments and should only issue vaccine exemptions in exceptional circumstances. Alexander questions whether violating these guidelines is professional misconduct and whether they are legally binding. The CPSO will argue that Trozzi has failed to maintain professional standards and has displayed a lack of knowledge and judgment.

Forbes: Are The Miami Heat The Most Likely Landing Spot For Bradley Beal?
NBA player Bradley Beal might be traded to the Miami Heat, who need another scorer to complement Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo. Other teams linked to Beal, like the Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks, may not make as much sense. Beal is the only player in the NBA with a no-trade clause and has failed to play more than 60 games in each of the past four seasons. The Heat could make a clean trade if Beal wants to be there, and Windhorst pointed out that if the Portland Trail Blazers deal Damian Lillard, that might be an even better fit in Miami.

Dylan Nussbaum shares his success using VMC Twitchin' Jigs to catch a massive walleye, despite the lure being designed for salmon, trout, and steelhead. Nussbaum's technique includes a slow pop and pendulum back or a slower reel and pause, accompanied by forward-facing sonar to sight fish for walleye.
Forward-facing sonar such as LiveScope and Active Target is great for finding fish, but it does not guarantee biting. There are times when even the most advanced technology will not help, as observed by a local walleye league. However, live sonar did help Jake Billings catch an aggressive walleye using a musky topwater plopper with a bass chatterbait. Splitshot rigs and fluoro line can be used for a finesse presentation in shallow water.

The downside to this potential phone plan is the amount of data Amazon would have access to, potentially collecting more information on customers for their own gain.
