Rasmussen: 54 Percent Expect Cheating, Voter Fraud in 2024 Election
A new poll by Rasmussen reveals that 56% of Americans anticipate some level of cheating or voter fraud in the 2024 election. 52% of likely voters also believe fraudulent activities influenced the outcome of the 2022 midterm elections. The survey found that 54% believe cheating will influence the results of the 2024 election, with around 30% saying cheating is “very likely.” Concerns about election fraud are not limited to older generations, with younger voters showing high levels of suspicion. There is a divide among voters on which party they trust more to safeguard election integrity, with 40% favoring Republicans and 39% siding with Democrats. The poll reveals that fears of cheating and voter fraud continue to undermine trust in America’s democratic institutions.

The Epoch Times: Government Allegedly Targets Conservatives and Christians as Terrorists: Watchdog
Government Allegedly Targets Conservatives and Christians as Terrorists: Watchdog
Federal funds allocated to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) program to prevent violence and terrorism were allegedly used to target conservatives, Christians, and Republicans, according to a report by the Media Research Center. DHS’ Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program is supposed to provide funding to prevent targeted violence and terrorism, but the application for a grant is extremely vague, making it difficult to understand how DHS evaluates them. Recent documents obtained by the Media Research Center show that federal funds were used to conduct training on how to disrupt the work of these conservative organizations, create dummy social media accounts, and manufacture infighting among conservatives. The program had originally been introduced by former President Barack Obama in 2011, after “al-Qa’ida and its affiliates” attempted to “recruit” and “radicalize” Americans.

North Carolina House Advances Bill Prohibiting Natural Gas Ban in Local Government
North Carolina lawmakers have passed a bill that prevents local governments from banning natural gas appliances. The legislation, which is largely supported by Republicans, prohibits cities and counties from prohibiting energy services and the sale of gas-reliant heating and cooking appliances. Democratic Governor Roy Cooper vetoed the bill earlier this year, arguing that it undermined the state’s shift to a clean energy economy. Meanwhile, the US House of Representatives has passed the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act, which prohibits federal funds from being used to regulate gas stoves as hazardous products. Opponents have argued that the act is unnecessary, as no stoves are actually being banned.

Pence Weighs In On Pardoning Trump If He’s Convicted In Federal Case
Former Vice President Mike Pence refused to commit to pardoning former President Donald Trump if he is convicted in a federal criminal case during an interview on “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” this week. Pence emphasized that the pardon authority is an important power and that it is premature to discuss the matter at present. He also said that the charges were serious and that Trump deserved his day in court. The interview appeared to get heated when co-host Clay Travis claimed Pence was “not stepping up on the front of leadership.”

The Epoch Times: 'Hidden' Malibu Beach Opens to the Public After Homeowners Blocked Access
'Hidden' Malibu Beach Opens to the Public After Homeowners Blocked Access
Public access to Escondido Beach in Malibu, California has been restored following a legal battle with two homeowners who had blocked access. The Californian Coastal Commission forced the owners to construct a public pathway at an estimated cost of millions of dollars and pay a fine for violating state laws that mandate that the land below the high tide line of California’s beaches be open to all. The owners had attempted to obscure the access way by installing a metal fence and paving over driveways to make it less obvious to beachgoers. The commission says that the restoration of public access is a major win for California’s coastal law.

LGBTQ activists complain companies are caving to backlash against Pride Month: 'They're scared to death'
Big corporations are "ghosting" LGBTQ activists by shying away from partnerships and sponsorships during Pride Month due to conservative pressure. The controversy over such partnerships is causing companies to reconsider their priorities and reevaluate their sponsorships. LGBTQ activists, who depend on the income generated from these deals to count toward their budget, expressed their frustrations with the reduction in partnerships this year. Though some companies may be whispering their support into sympathetic ears, smaller companies are the only ones asking for partnerships about Pride Month. Struggling to cope with the cut in their usual income, activists expressed their disappointment that corporations cannot stand up for their beliefs.

Red State: Russia and The WW3 Watch
Russia and The WW3 Watch
NATO is considering a direct conflict with Russia over Putin's invasion of Ukraine. However, former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Sir Richard Shirreff, has stated that NATO is not ready for a war with Moscow, due to military budget cuts across many alliance members. Meanwhile, the United States, NATO’s biggest contributor, is also at a disadvantage as they do not have enough army, navy, or air force like they did in Desert Storm. Furthermore, there are no compelling U.S. interests involved here, resulting in the issue of whether NATO involves itself in the crisis at all.
