Fox News: The other documents case: Delaware supreme court hears FOIA case on Biden's Senate documents
The Delaware Supreme Court will hear arguments regarding President Joe Biden's Senate records held at the University of Delaware. Last year, government watchdog group Judicial Watch and Daily Caller News Foundation sued the university under the state's Freedom of Information Act to request records regarding Biden's tenure as a Senator. While the university has an agreement with Biden that prohibits public access to the senatorial papers until they have been properly processed and archived, the FBI has already searched the university twice for classified Biden documents, posing questions of what Biden is trying to hide.
Fox News: Plan to prevent Milwaukee from going bankrupt expected to win bipartisan approval in WI legislature
Lawmakers in Wisconsin are expected to approve a plan that prevents Milwaukee from going bankrupt, as part of a deal reached with Governor Tony Evers and Republican lawmakers. The state would spend more than $1bn on K-12 schools and the plan would allow for a matching grant on local sales tax increases to fund essential police, fire and emergency services. Desired funding will be obtained by tapping 20% of the state’s 5-cent sales tax and there would be an increase in reimbursement for special education costs and $50m more spent on reading and literacy programs.
The deal has led to controversy, however, with conservative critics complaining that the calls for local sales tax increases should have required voter approval. Meanwhile, the state schoolteachers union has expressed dissatisfaction with increasing voucher payments to private schools. The plan has also faced opposition from some Democratic lawmakers who disagree with the proposed education spending plan. Nevertheless, the legislation is expected to win broad bipartisan support when passed to the governor for signing.
Liberty Nation: Sifting Fact From Fiction on the Trump Indictments
Former President Trump faces 37 charges related to handling classified documents after leaving the White House. Liberty Nation's legal affairs editor states that any single conviction on federal charges for Trump may be effectively a life sentence for him. Although he may campaign and serve as president regardless of the charges and their outcome, it is a prosecution directed by the president, and if Trump wins the office, he will cancel it. Trump's legal team appears disorganized, and he is the victim of a shunning campaign waged by many on the left. If Trump is ultimately found guilty, he could pardon himself and end the prosecution.
The Epoch Times: IN-DEPTH: A Revolution Is Unfolding Against 'Woke' Corporate America, Here's the Strategy Behind It
Conservative groups argue that consumer boycotts of “woke” corporations like Target and Anheuser-Busch are the key to reversing race, gender, and environmental activism in corporate America. Activists pushing the notion of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) have created heavy-handed mandates on controversial “social justice” ideologies, which are leading to a potential breach of fiduciary responsibility to shareholders. Even with companies losing billions of dollars, they continue to embrace the concept to the detriment of their shareholders. As a result, consumer boycotts have given conservative groups the traction they need to fight back legally and some businesses, such as Target and Anheuser-Busch, are experiencing market capitalisations slipping.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed legislation this spring to stop “Biden’s ESG financial fraud”. He partnered with 18 other states to force asset managers away from “woke” ideology. Other states have passed legislation restricting insurance companies operating in Texas from incorporating ESG factors and divesting state pension funds from ESG portfolios that “boycotted” fossil fuels. Conservative states are seeking to break ESG’s hold on businesses, leading to 14 states likely to pass anti-ESG measures this year. The power of the consumer is still a force to be reckoned with, but corporate leaders fear losing their jobs if they drop ESG more than corporate losses, leading them to push ESG’s “far-left agenda”.
The Epoch Times: Tucker Carlson Says Prosecution of Trump 'Isn’t Just Political, It’s Ideological’
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson claims that former President Donald Trump's recent indictment is not just political but "ideological" and is based on comments he made regarding the U.S.-led coalition invasion of Iraq. Carlson believes that the indictment against Trump is Joe Biden's attempt to lock up his chief rival, stating that Trump's prosecution isn't just political, but ideological, as nobody with his views is allowed to have power in the country anymore. Carlson stated that the Biden administration is "trying to take Trump out before you can vote for him," and that the destruction of American democracy "should keep you up at night."
The Epoch Times: Labor Bunkers Down As Opposition and Greens Push on Higgins and Housing
The Labor government faces opposition from both the lower and upper houses over the Higgins saga and housing affordability. Finance Minister Katy Gallagher was accused of misleading parliament about Higgins' rape allegations and of trying to use the assault for political gain, which she denied. Labor attempted to deflect and conflate the opposition's questions with wider sexual assault issues, but the opposition rejected this and argued that it was reasonable to hold the government accountable for their handling of the matter. At the same time, the Greens criticized the government's stance on housing affordability, but the Prime Minister accused them of hypocrisy for opposing new housing developments in their own electorates.

The Federalist: Media Pretend Bomb Threats From 'Pride' Fanatics Are Anti-LGBT
Pro-LGBT activists have been accused of making bomb threats against a Target store's pride merchandise. Corporate media, including The Hill and The Washington Post, have framed threats from angry pro-"pride" activists as threats against themselves, burying the true lede. Media outlets have attempted to push the fake narrative about conservative extremists assaulting the pro-trans department store. Pro-transgender activists, especially those in America's newsrooms, habitually spin their own victimization as victimhood. A Gallup poll showed that a majority of Americans believe it is morally wrong to change one's gender and that athletes should only be allowed to play on teams that match their sex, indicating that public opinion about transgender radicalism is rapidly changing.

Liberty Nation: The Plot Thickens: Recorded Calls Between the Bidens and Burisma
Joe Biden may have lied to the American public about his knowledge and involvement in his son Hunter's business dealings with Ukrainian energy company Burisma, as 17 recorded telephone conversations between a Burisma executive and the Bidens have been reported to the FBI by a trusted source. Republican Senator Chuck Grassley revealed this information, including allegations of a bribery scheme involving the Bidens, and criticized the FBI for redacting parts of the 1023 form despite its unclassified status. The Occam's razor principle suggests that these conversations likely took place and connects Hunter's Burisma directorship and payments to the firing of a prosecutor. If proven true, this could have serious consequences for Joe Biden, and impeachment would be only the beginning of his problems.

Forbes: Google Charged With EU Antitrust Violation—And May Be Forced To Sell Part Of Its Ad Business

Forbes: Energy Giant Shell Returns To ‘Crude’ Basics, Hikes Dividend By 15%
Energy giant Shell is to increase dividends by 15%, distribute 30% to 40% of operational cash flow, reduce capital spending for 2024 and 2025 to $22-$25bn, and increase its share buyback programme in H2 2023 to at least $5bn, CEO Wael Sawan said on 14 June. Shareholders can now look forward to enhanced payouts of around $0.33 per ordinary share, and an uptick in its share buyback rate. Even following the increase, Shell's dividend payout will remain around 30% lower than before the COVID-19 pandemic in US dollar terms. The company also dropped multiple low-carbon projects including biofuels, hydrogen and offshore wind, however, the net zero emissions objective by 2050 is still on track, according to Sawan.
Shell is getting back to basics by focusing on its core source of income - hydrocarbons - with growth in its Integrated Gas business and liquefied natural gas market. Despite not targeting oil production cuts of 1-2% annually from 2021, it remains committed to value optimisation from investments it has made in downstream and renewables energy solutions, whilst investing in low-carbon options such as biofuels, carbon capture and storage, electric vehicle charging and hydrogen. The company aims to achieve "near" zero methane emissions by 2030 and aims to eliminate routine flaring from upstream operations by 2025. Overall Shell seems to want to deliver more value while keeping investors onboard, although it remains to be seen how it will all transpire.

Fox News: Early surge of flu activity in Australia has doctors on alert for what may happen in US this fall and winter
Epidemiologists are monitoring a rise in flu activity in the Southern Hemisphere to see if it will predict what will happen in the U.S. this winter. Most areas in the U.S. are reporting "minimal" or "low" influenza-like activity, which is typical for this time of year. Human behavior and social interactions also play a role in the spread of flu, so masking by a large number people could help make a difference in blunting the spread of the virus. People getting their annual flu vaccine will have the option to also get vaccinated for an updated COVID-19 vaccine and potentially the new respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine.

Fox News: Former OB-GYN accused of raping hundreds has faced threats, extortion by other inmates, according to lawyers
Former OB-GYN Robert Hadden has faced threats and extortion from other inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his conviction of sexually abusing hundreds of patients. Hadden's lawyers are requesting a three-year sentence instead of a potential decade and are arguing that Hadden is wrongfully accused of being a child molester. In 2016, Hadden pleaded guilty in state court to allegations that involved fewer women, while his federal conviction in January involved compelling victims to cross state lines to be abused. Two prestigious Manhattan hospitals where Hadden worked have agreed to pay over $236m to settle claims from over 200 former patients.
Fox News: Houston Police K-9 dies from heat exhaustion after engine of vehicle it was left in shut off
Houston police department is investigating the death of a K-9 dog named Aron, who died of heat exhaustion due to engine failure in the air-conditioned vehicle he was left in. The Houston police say that one of their K-9 dogs was left in a car with the air conditioning running, but the engine shut off and the safety system failed to notify the handler of the temperature change. In April, another K-9 dog, named Rudy, died after being shot and killed by a “career criminal” suspect who was fleeing from deputies in California.
