Breitbart: East Texas County 400 Miles from Border Declares Migrant-Crisis Disaster
San Jacinto County in Texas has declared a state of disaster for the border crisis, following a mass murder and drug bust; nearly 200 residents gathered to hear the declaration being read by the Sheriff, Greg Capers. The declaration will help the county to obtain state funding for additional equipment and manpower in an effort to combat the surge of drug and human smuggling and other border-related criminal activities taking place in the county. The Epoch Times: Here's What the 2024 GOP Candidates Said About Trump's Arrest in Miami
Donald Trump was arrested on federal charges for mishandling classified documents, but Republican candidates are split on how to respond. Trump is leading the pack with 53 percent support among GOP voters, and Vivek Ramaswamy and Larry Elder have publicly defended him, while Gov. Ron DeSantis has remained largely silent. Some former Trump supporters such as Nikki Haley and Asa Hutchinson have condemned his actions, while others, like Haley, have suggested they would pardon him if he is convicted. Joe Biden has not commented on the arrest, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. implied the Trump–Russia investigation was fabricated.
Washington Free Beacon: GOP Lawmaker Blasts Biden Diversity Chief for “Un-American” Race-Focused Hiring
Republican lawmaker Brian Mast accuses State Department's outgoing diversity chief Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley of race-based hiring policies, arguing that diversity "can’t be the number one filter." Sen. Ted Cruz has echoed these criticisms, calling for an end to "brazen discrimination." Abercrombie-Winstanley has defended her approach, stating that "diversity" is a top factor for employee recruitment. The exchange came during a hearing on the State Department’s diversity budget for fiscal year 2024.
PJ Media: Trump Is Just the Tip of the Dems' Rogue Law Enforcement Harassment Iceberg
Conservatives warn of dark clouds looming on the horizon in the US as the Left has done a century's worth of damage to the Republic in the two-and-a-half years Joe Biden has been in office. They fear the horror show that would be a second Biden/Harris term, where the Left is willing to do anything to eliminate political opposition, including labelling private citizens who are Trump supporters terrorists. As the 2024 presidential election cycle is in full swing, harassment targeting voters on the Right will likely get worse. Conservative media has grown considerably in the last decade and will need the continuing support of its VIP Members to fight for the fate of the Republic.
Daily Wire: Former Vice President Mike Pence Calls Trump Arraignment ‘Sad Day’ For America
Former Vice President Mike Pence called Donald Trump's arraignment on federal charges a "sad day" for America, promising to restore faith in the justice system if elected president. Pence added that the DOJ has been politicized for years and pledged to clean house if elected. He also referenced a challenge he was backing to push back against an Iowa school district policy that allows students to begin socially "transitioning" without parental permission, promising to protect traditional values and stand up against radical Left ideology.
Fox News: Top Hong Kong protest song removed from major music platforms
"Glory to Hong Kong," a popular protest song in Hong Kong, has disappeared from several music streaming services and social media platforms after the government sought to outlaw it. The song rose to popularity during the 2019 pro-democracy protests and became an unofficial anthem, but was widely considered to be banned in the city after the government outlawed the protest slogan "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times" in 2020. The creators of the song said they were "dealing with technical issues," but it was unclear whether the song was removed by the platforms or its creators.
Washington Free Beacon: Tale of Two Chambers: GOP-Led House Celebrates Flag Day Without Dem-Led Senate
U.S. Capitol's GOP leaders celebrated Flag Day with three large American flags on the House side, while Democrat-led Senate side had no such celebration. PJ Media: Is This Proof the Trump Indictment Is a Scam?
The number of classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago were greatly exaggerated in the indictment against President Trump. Despite photos showing many boxes, only 102 classified documents were recovered, which could fit into a single box. Newsmax host Greg Kelly criticized the exaggeration, calling it a "scam" meant to poison the public's perception of Trump.

Fox News: Adam Schiff dodges a bullet: House votes against bill censuring him for Trump-Russia ‘lies’
The House has voted to set aside a resolution to censure and condemn Rep. Adam Schiff for insisting that former President Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. The resolution introduced by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna was opposed by 20 Republicans and two other GOP lawmakers voted "present" along with five Democrats. Schiff avoided being censured and condemned in the House for telling "lies" about Russia-Trump collusion.
If the resolution passed, it would formally censure and condemn Schiff’s actions for misleading the public "in a way that is not befitting" an elected member of the House. It would require Schiff to stand in the well of the House while the resolution is read in full, and it would require an investigation into Schiff’s "lies, misrepresentations and abuses of sensitive information" by the House Committee on Ethics. However, it wasn’t clear late Wednesday whether House Republicans might try again with a resolution against Schiff that leaves out all mentions of possible fines.

Fox News: US lawmakers introduce new bill to protect TikTok user information
A bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced a bill to protect Americans' data from being used by foreign-owned social media apps like TikTok, which they say pose serious security risks. The bill would direct the Commerce Department to create a list of high-risk countries where sensitive data exports would be blocked and regulate exports of personal data by data brokers and firms like TikTok. It would also apply export control penalties to senior executives who knew or should have known that employees were directed to illegally export Americans’ personal data.
TikTok said it is "well underway in cutting off access to protected U.S. user data to any employee, wherever they are." It denied any improper data use and said it has spent over $1.5 billion on data security measures. Last month, TikTok sued to block a planned ban by Montana, but the lawmakers said Congress needs to pass legislation to give the president new powers to ban or impose restrictions on TikTok and other foreign-owned apps.
The Epoch Times: Blinken to Visit China, Seek Renewed Communications as Regime Expands Military
Secretary of State Antony Blinken travels to China to reestablish normal communications, champion U.S. values and interests and identify potential avenues for mutual cooperation while seeking to erect guardrails around the two powerhouses’ increasingly bitter competition. He previously had to cancel the plan due to a Chinese spy balloon traversed over the continental United States, collecting information on three military sites associated with the U.S. nuclear program. The Biden administration continues a meaningful dialogue with the CCP, although traditional engagement with the regime has failed, and new approaches will be needed to manage the relationship effectively. Critics of the trip have portrayed the visit as a kowtow to an increasingly authoritarian regime that has shown no signs of liberalizing after decades of engagement.
CCP leader Xi Jinping has warned Chinese people to prepare for "extreme scenarios," and the regime is building up its domestic industrial and economic base to ensure continued operation in the event of war, while developing military capabilities to overcome and annihilate U.S. systems in the Indo-Pacific. The United States estimates the regime will quintuple its arsenal of around 300 nuclear weapons to 1,500 by 2035 and will not engage in arms control agreements with the United States. Slowing that proliferation is thus a key area of concern for the Biden administration. The administration acknowledges that economic and diplomatic engagement with the CCP will not reform the regime, but the United States is in competition with China, and they seek to manage the competition responsibly without conflict or confrontation.

The Epoch Times: Google Faces Forced Break-Up as EU Regulators Allege Anti-Competitive Violations
The European Union (EU) has accused Google of breaching antitrust rules. The bloc’s regulators have issued a preliminary assessment that the only solution to addressing their competition concerns is to force Google to break up. The European Commission (EC) pointed out on June 14 that Google distorted competition in the advertising technology industry. They claimed that Google’s practices would be illegal under the EU’s competition rules. The EC’s preliminary view is that the only thing that would address its competitive concerns is for the “mandatory divestment by Google of part of its services.”
Google has pushed back on these claims, accusing the EC of not considering the broader impact of Google’s business operations. This marks the first instance in which the 27-member bloc has called for a tech giant to divest key business segments for allegedly violating strict EU antitrust laws. Google can defend itself by pleading its case before the EC ahead of a final decision. Previously, the EC hit Google with over $8.6 billion in fines in three separate antitrust cases involving Google’s Android operating system, as well as shopping and search advertising services.

Fox News: CA Senate passes bill to redefine same-sex couples unable to get pregnant as 'infertile'
California Democrats aim to redefine "infertility" in order to force insurance companies to cover pregnancy treatments for homosexual couples, including surrogacy and in vitro fertilization. The bill would add same-sex couples to the definition, meaning insurance companies would have to cover the costs of IVF or surrogacy for these couples. The legislation has the backing of groups like Men Having Babies, which supports the bill and believes that the frustrations of same-sex couples unable to reproduce are equal to those of heterosexual couples with medical infertility. The bill passed the California Senate in May and will be considered by the Assembly in the coming weeks.

Breitbart: Prosecutors: Weapons Expert in Alec Baldwin ‘Rust' Case Was Hungover on Set
Prosecutors allege that the weapons supervisor on the "Rust" film set was drinking and smoking marijuana while on the job, leading to the use of a live bullet in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by Alec Baldwin. Prosecutors claim the weapons supervisor, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, has a history of reckless conduct, and they argue it would be in the public interest for her to be "held accountable" for her actions. A preliminary hearing for Gutierrez-Reed is scheduled for August, and prosecutors may recharge Baldwin following an analysis of the gun and its broken sear, with results expected in the next 60 days.

California, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island currently prohibit suppressor ownership. Suppressors are good for reducing hearing damage and recoil, and they don't make firearms silent. You can own a suppressor individually or as a trust, with a trust being more flexible. To purchase a suppressor, you can use a traditional Class 3 dealer with a Federal Firearms License, or you can utilize companies such as Silencer Central, which streamlines the process and even offers free trust setup.
