American Thinker: Black Comedians Told Uncomfortable Truths That Came to Naught
In 1996, Chris Rock criticized black anti-social behavior and called for it to end. In 2004, Bill Cosby echoed his sentiments and chastised black parents, churches, and leaders for allowing it to continue. Juan Williams wrote a book in 2006 outlining the same issues and solutions. Fox News: Cruz defends comments about Obama, Iran and nuclear weapons, scolds 'ridiculous' fact-checker

Cruz accused the "partisan, left-wing liars" of misrepresenting his words and ignoring his broader point about Iran's intentions. The argument centers on Cruz's use of the phrase "nuclear technology" versus "nuclear weapons" and Obama's 2009 speech that supported Iran's use of nuclear power but opposed any country having nuclear weapons.

After his father died when he was 11, George worked to help support his family, continued his education with the help of his two older half-brothers, and developed his surveying skills. He eventually put aside surveying to work with the Virginia militia and learned valuable lessons that would help him lead the Colonists to victory in the Revolutionary War.

The Epoch Times: ‘Very Little Thought’ Given to 'Damaging' Impact Lockdown: Covid Inquiry
The UK's Covid-19 Inquiry has begun public hearings and lead lawyer Hugo Keith KC has said that a national lockdown was "forever seared" into the nation's consciousness, but was not considered before the pandemic. The inquiry will cost around £100m and will look at the pandemic response across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, examining preparations, response and impact on hospitals and spending on protective personal equipment. Keith also raised concerns about whether no-deal Brexit planning may have "crowded out" work on the UK's preparedness for civil emergency. The public hearings will conclude by 2026.
