Daily Wire: Fox News Raises Eyebrows With New ‘Nickname’ For President Biden
Fox News ran a chyron referring to President Joe Biden as a “wannabe dictator” shortly after Donald Trump was arraigned on federal charges. Most viewers and analysts saw the message as a continuation of Fox News' far-right propaganda. Journalists and commentators have criticized Fox News but many conservatives believe that the headline was truthful. The network addressed the alleged issue and removed the chyron shortly after it aired.
National Review: The Corner: Pardoning Is Not Enough: We Must All Perform Seppuku for Donald Trump
Vivek Ramaswamy calls on all Republican opponents to sign a pardon for Donald Trump if they win office, showing class and magnanimity. However, he lacks the commitment to truly prove his loyalty to the Trump campaign. To demonstrate their superior virtue, all Republican candidates, other than Trump, should ritually off themselves, drawing on historical examples such as Goujian in China. Ann Coulter recognized the need for devotion to the cause and it is up to the rest of the party to follow suit.
Breitbart: Donald Trump Deploys 'Clinton Socks' Defense Against Federal Charges
Former President Trump is using the "Clinton Socks" case as a defense against charges of mishandling classified documents. This case involves former President Bill Clinton keeping audio tapes containing possible classified information in his sock drawer after his presidency, claiming they were personal records not subject to the President Records Act of 1978. Trump argues that this defense shows the Clintons were not prosecuted for taking government documents home with them. This defense, along with others, will be tested in court.
Human Events: LIBBY EMMONS: Fox walked back ‘dictator’ chryon but PBS didn’t
even apologize for Trump ‘context warning’
PBS issued "context" warnings during Donald Trump's speech, claiming his rhetoric can lead to violence. Trump spoke about his indictment, presidential record, and opponents. Meanwhile, Fox News displayed a chyron reading "Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested" during an opinion show, which was later taken down. Biden's press secretary denies involvement in Trump's indictment and the DOJ's targeting of states banning sex changes for minors. Fox News walked back their message, while PBS made no changes. Conservatives can't voice their opinions without public backlash.
Fox News: 29 Dems vote with GOP to protect gas stoves from Biden’s Department of Energy
The House passed the Save Our Gas Stoves Act by a 249-181 vote, with over two dozen Democrats supporting the effort to block the Department of Energy from implementing new energy conservation rules on gas stoves. Every Republican voted for it. They are responding to a department rule that seeks to boost energy efficiency standards for gas stoves which Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz. argued initially found 96% of gas stoves currently on the market wouldn’t meet the new standard, but later introduced new data to make it look like only 50% wouldn’t.
Democrats argued that department energy standards were only aimed at new models and Rep. Frank Pallone, D-N.J. argued that the standards were extremely popular and that no one is saying gas stoves would be banned, removed, or prevented from being installed. A related bill, the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act, aimed at preventing the Consumer Product Safety Commission from recommending restrictions on the use of gas stoves for consumer safety reasons, was passed 248-180, with 25 Democrats supporting the bill.
Fox News: HHS chief to testify before House subcommittee over unaccompanied child migrant crisis after GOP pressure
The head of the Department of Health and Human Services will testify on the unaccompanied child migrant crisis at a House subcommittee hearing called “Stopping the Exploitation of Migrant Children: Oversight of HHS' Office of Refugee Resettlement” scheduled for July 26. Republicans on the committee pressured HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra to appear at the hearing, which will focus on examining the management of the unaccompanied child migrant program and HHS’ responsibility to keep children safe after their release. The hearing comes amid scrutiny over the Biden administration's handling of a surge in unaccompanied children at the border and reports of a spike in child trafficking into the labor force and their exploitation.
House Energy and Commerce Committee’s subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations Chair Morgan Griffith and Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers said, “President Biden’s open-border policies are leading to a surge of unaccompanied children coming to America. HHS has lost track of tens of thousands of children after hastily releasing them from its custody, many of whom are tragically being exploited.” The lawmakers had first requested Becerra’s presence at the subcommittee’s hearing in March and threatened a subpoena if he did not agree to testify. Becerra has defended his agency’s handling of the crisis and blamed unscrupulous employers and companies willing to exploit vulnerable children for their exploitation.
Breitbart: Farage-Boris Alliance Would Be 'Nightmare' For Tories, Says Top Pollster
Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson may form a political alliance to take on the Tory government and preserve their "Brexit legacy". However, this partnership would be a "nightmare" for the Conservative Party and kill off any small chance of beating Labour in the next general election, according to polling expert Sir John Curtice. Although the prospect of an outside party winning parliamentary representation is challenging given the first past the post voting system, Labour's potential favour towards proportional representation could change this outcome. Boris Johnson's globalist positions may also be a stumbling block, but Farage believes Johnson may "turn on a sixpence" and align with their political views.
The Blaze: State senator encourages parents to 'flee' California rather than risk being forced to affirm their child's 'gender identity' someday: Video
A new bill in California would compel parents to comply with far-left gender "ideology" regarding their child, leading opponents to argue that it would violate parents' religious liberties. Republican State Senator Scott Wilk stated that the bill may lead to children being taken "away from" their parents entirely, and encouraged parents to flee California rather than risk being subjected to the new bill. Wilk believes that parental rights have eroded considerably in recent years and legislators should redirect their effort toward protecting parents. The bill will move to the Senate floor, and if approved, it will return to the State Assembly to approve the amendments before being given to Gov. Gavin Newsom for consideration. # politics
Human Events: BREAKING: Alex Stein tells Jack Posobiec that Trump indictment
could be Democrats’ ‘beta test’ before going after Biden
Stein thinks that the Trump indictment is a test by the US Government to see what it would take to remove Biden from the office. He believes Trump is the biggest threat to the establishment and they will do whatever it takes to prevent him from running again. Stein elaborated on a theory that Biden could pardon Trump so that he himself can pardon himself simultaneously.
Fox News: House Republicans notch win in effort to overturn Biden admin's 'unconstitutional' pistol brace rule
House Republicans voted in favour of a resolution to overturn a federal regulation on stabilizing braces for pistols, that had been put forth by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The measure nullifies the ATF's rule that regulates stabilizing braces and categorizes pistols with braces as short-barreled rifles, requiring a federal license to own. The NRA celebrated the resolution's passage but the Democrats' who voted against the measure argued that the rule could save lives. The resolution is now headed to the Senate.
The US House of Representatives passed Reps. Clyde and Hudson's measure to block the ATF's pistol brace rule, which regulates stabilizing braces for pistols and categorizes pistols with braces as short-barreled rifles, requiring a federal license to own, and has been fought by the NRA. The measure passed by 219-210, nearly along party lines, with two Democrats voting in support and two Republicans voting against the measure. If passed by the Senate and vetoed by President Biden, the House and Senate would need a two-thirds majority vote to override the presidential veto.
Breitbart: Vance: Biden DOJ Political Appointees 'Foot Soldiers' for Political Activism
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is putting a hold on confirming President Biden's political appointments to the Justice Department, claiming they are functioning as "foot soldiers" for activism instead of enforcing the law. He believes other senators will join his effort to use their constitutional authority to benefit the American people. Vance argues that giving Biden more foot soldiers to attack political opponents and conservatives is insane.
Human Events: PBS runs insane ‘context warnings’ during Trump’s
post-arraignment speech
PBS adds "context" warnings during Trump's speech, claiming his rhetoric may incite violence and referencing a far-right militia group. Meanwhile, Fox News airs a chyron during an opinion show calling Biden a "wannabe dictator" after Trump was arraigned in federal court. Fox News walks back the chyron, while PBS does not apologize.
Fox News: Support for Trump among Republicans remains steady despite news of indictment: poll
Trump's favorability rating among registered voters remains steady at 37%, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll. The poll, conducted June 8-12, showed that 53% of Republican and Republican-leaning voters said they support Trump for the GOP nomination for president in a hypothetical general election matchup. Among Democrats challenging Biden for the party's nomination for president, attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. received 17% support from Democratic and Democrat-leaning voters who were surveyed, while Marianne Williamson got 8% support.

Washington Free Beacon: California Democrats Advance Bill To Punish 'Gender Non-Affirming' Parents Over Vocal Opposition
Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee in California have advanced legislation mandating ‘gender affirmation’ in custody disputes. The bill, which passed the State Assembly in March, has sparked concern from hundreds of parents, teachers, pastors, San Francisco Democrats, immigrants, gays, and a “gender-nonconforming” mom, who argue that it would take away parental rights. If enacted, judges in custody dispute cases involving transgender-identifying children would be required to favor a parent who “affirms” his or her child’s gender identity. Critics warned that the change could lead to abuse claims against parents who do not accept their child’s transgender identity.

Daily Wire: California State Senator Warns Parents To ‘Flee’ State After ‘Gender-Affirmation’ Bill Advances
California has passed a bill which states that if parents refuse to affirm their children’s “gender identity," they will be accused of child abuse. Anyone interacting with children, such as schools, hospitals and churches, would be required to affirm gender transitions in minors. Senator Scott Wilk of Antelope Valley encouraged families to "flee California," stating that previous parental rights had "atrophyed". The state would appear "too oppressive" and Senator Wilk advocated freedom of choice. The California bill would be the first in the US to define affirmation as child abuse.

The Economist: Ukraine’s counter-offensive is making mixed progress
Despite making progress, Ukraine's counter-offensive is yet to face Russia's main defences as both sides are trying to draw out each others' reserves in a "chess game". Ukrainian attacks in the east may be intended to prevent Russia from reinforcing the south, while the situation in the flooded plains of Kherson has upended Ukrainian plans, but flooding has washed away Russian defences, creating opportunities for Ukraine. Officials say Ukraine has what it needs to make significant advances, but it will require luck on their part and blunders on Russia's, and the biggest risk is Ukrainian units becoming caught in Russian "fire pockets".
The death of Silvio Berlusconi creates uncertainty for his party but may strengthen Giorgia Meloni's hand within the ruling coalition. Western systems arrived in Kyiv just in time to fend off a Russian missile blitz in May, but other places need them too. Ukraine's counter-attack in multiple directions is making mixed progress, but its main forces have yet to be committed.
