Fox News: Radical California bill could do this scary thing to parents who don't 'affirm' trans kids
California's radical AB 957 bill could label parents who refuse to affirm their child's gender identity as child abusers. The bill requires judges handling custody disputes with transgender children to favor the parent who supports the new gender identity. Affirming the biological sex of the child would be out of bounds, risking losing custody. Sociologists report a growing trend in gender dysphoria and gender identity disorders among children due to encouraging sexual confusion, with cases rising in clusters, influenced by peers. Many find it shocking that medical practitioners and activists have coined the deceptive term "gender-affirming care" to describe altering children's bodies. Countries across Europe are starting to recommend sex-change operations and puberty blockers only in research settings to avoid potential long-term psychological effects on children. Though explosive in the United States, less progressive countries, such as Norway, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, and France, are acknowledging the lack of scientific data in support of such treatments, and some institutions have been shut down.

Fox News: Alabama, Texas rank highest in nation for religious, regulatory freedom; Michigan, Nevada among worst: Study
Texas and Alabama ranked highest in protecting faith-based groups' freedom in the United States, according to the Napa Legal Institute's first annual "Faith and Freedom Index." The group analysed the regulations faith-based nonprofits faced in each state, awarding scores based on 14 factors to produce overall rankings. For example, states that had had constitutional provisions for religious freedom were awarded more points in that category, while states that had "well-developed nonprofit religious corporation laws" received more points in the regulatory category. However, no state scored over 80% in both areas and 32 states scored less than 40% for religious freedom.

Spectator USA: Why today’s teenagers are so unhappy
Clinical depression and the suicide rate for ten- to twenty-four-year-olds have tripled, with almost 30% of American girls now suffering from clinical depression, according to psychologist Dr. Jean Twenge. In her latest book, Generations, Twenge argues that technology, and in particular the use of social media, is behind this rise, stating that the more hours young people spend on social media, the more likely they are to be depressed and experience loneliness. She also notes that while the negative view of the world held by young people is largely influenced by their greater levels of depression, social media discussions regularly emphasise the negative. .

Spectator USA: The Dyson Zone blows, but doesn’t suck
Dyson's "The Zone" headphones have a unique selling point - air filtration. Each earcup contains a fan and removable filters that clear out up to 99% of allergens. However, the visor attachment is made from creaky plastic, and its filtration function does not surpass an N95 mask. Nevertheless, as a pair of Bluetooth headphones, "The Zone" excels with excellent battery life, comfort, and solid build quality, making it stand out as a fashion statement at $999.
