Fox News: Senate urged to punish US companies that help China build its AI-driven ‘surveillance state’
US companies who assist China in using AI-driven technology to violate human rights should be punished and their executives should face prison, a US Senate Judiciary subcommittee was told. Speaking at a hearing on Tuesday, Geoffrey Cain, a senior fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation, said US firms had been complicit in building China's "surveillance state" by selling AI products - including to produce DNA data - directly to Chinese state security officials. Cain called on Congress to ensure China does not gain dominance in AI and to ensure US leadership in the industry remained strong.

Fox News: John Rich doesn't think AI could be any worse than the state of country music today
Country music star John Rich is skeptical that artificial intelligence could produce better quality music than current country artists. Rich questioned if AI could do any worse than some of the country singers that are out there now, but noted that AI has nothing on the legends in the industry. He believes that AI could take some redundant-sounding song and turn it into another redundant-sounding song, but it could never replicate what true country legends have put out in the world. Rich also talked to Fox News Digital about his Redneck Riviera whiskey brand and his thoughts on "woke culture."

Fox News: Michigan family sounds alarm on son's 'sextortion' suicide after arrests of 3 Nigerian men
Jordan DeMay, a 17-year-old Michigan teen, died by suicide after being sexually extorted through Instagram. Nigerian man Samuel Ogoshi posed as a woman on Instagram and demanded explicit photos from DeMay. Ogoshi used the photos as leverage for money and threatened to share the photos with DeMay's family and friends if he did not send more money. When DeMay told Ogoshi he was going to kill himself, Ogoshi demanded more money and threatened to make the teen do it. Ogoshi and two other suspects were arrested earlier this month for allegedly hacking Instagram accounts and sextorting over 100 young men online. The FBI defines sextortion as a "serious crime" in which perpetrators threaten to expose a victim's sensitive or private information in exchange for sexually explicit material or money.

Fox News: Increased use of AI on the job shows disturbing health trend, study finds
A study reveals that employees who work alongside artificial intelligence (AI) are lonelier than their colleagues who work alongside humans. They also have a tendency towards binge-drinking and insomnia. Four different experiments in the U.S., Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia found that employees that frequently work with AI increased after-work drinking habits and feelings of loneliness. The findings suggest that use of AI causes loneliness and its related maladaptive behaviors.

Fox News: The two questions Hannity asked Newsom that make for an epic 2024
California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's recent interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News suggests that the 2024 election may be far more interesting than expected. Despite President Biden presenting himself as old and familiar, it is the left-wing progressives who are really in charge. Newsom, who represents all of the Biden administration’s radical policies, has the backing and national recognition to win the Democratic nomination. Hannity questioned Newsom on issues such as homelessness and illegal immigration, highlighting California's large homeless population and the failed ideology causing it. Newsom offered no solutions, blaming high housing costs and regulatory thickets rather than mental health and drug addiction.
