The Epoch Times: At Least 79 Migrants Dead and Dozens Feared Missing After Fishing Vessel Sinks Off Greece
A fishing boat carrying migrants capsized and sank off Greece, leaving at least 79 dead, with hundreds missing. Survivors have been hospitalized with hypothermia, and there are fears that many more are still trapped in the vessel. The boat is believed to have sailed from the Tobruk area in Eastern Libya, which is now a main departure point for people attempting to reach Europe on smugglers’ boats.
Forbes: At Least 78 Dead In Worst Shipwreck Off Greece In Years
A fishing vessel carrying at least 180 migrants capsized and sank off the coast of Greece on Wednesday, killing at least 78 people, marking the deadliest shipwreck in Greece since 2015. More than 100 have been rescued. The migrants were en route from Libya to Italy.

The Federalist Papers: Video: 'The View' Host Makes Bizarre Sexual Confession While Talking Trump Indictment
"The View" co-host Ana Navarro likened her reading of Donald Trump's indictment on charges related to classified documents in his Florida home to reading "Fifty Shades of Grey," drawing laughter and applause from the audience. Navarro also criticized the bathroom facilities at Mar-a-Lago where the documents were allegedly stored. The Democratic Party's emotional appeals to race, sexual freedom, and the "choice" to destroy human life in the womb win over women and inner-city minorities, despite the Party's responsibility for the decline in living standards, rising crime, and poor education in urban areas. For Democrats, especially at the top, it's about power, while for those below, it's about emotion.
Red State: Elon Musk Highlights Creepy as Hell Message Joe Biden Sent to ‘LGBTQ Kids'
During a "Pride Celebration" event on Saturday, President Biden emphasized his administration's commitment to investing in the future of LGBTQ+ kids, including launching a crisis hotline. Biden also posted a creepy message on the White House Twitter account on Monday, claiming "these are our kids" and assuring LGBTQ+ children they are loved, heard, and backed by the administration. Tesla CEO Elon Musk called out Biden's comments, stating that the government does not own America's children. Concerns about Biden's actions, such as his DOJ's treatment of concerned parents and his administration's attempt to change Title IX for transgender athletes, speak louder than his words. However, Twitter users have pointed out humorously that Biden may disregard one child: Hunter Biden.
Daily Wire: PBS Puts ‘Inflammatory Rhetoric’ Warning Below Stream Of Trump Speech
PBS added "inflammatory rhetoric" warnings to its stream of former President Donald Trump's speech, including targeting his remarks on the 2020 presidential election and allegations of corruption against President Joe Biden and his son Hunter during a live stream event in response to his arraignment on federal charges. The warning came after Trump promised to "totally obliterate the deep state" if re-elected. Other media outlets such as CNN and MSNBC did not broadcast the speech live.
PBS, which receives roughly 15% of its revenue from taxpayers, added "context" labels to the speech and said that "inflammatory rhetoric" from people in power can lead to acts of violence. Iowa Republican Senator Chuck Grassley claimed that a foreign national had recordings of conversations with the Bidens related to the alleged bribery scheme. CNN's Jake Tapper said they didn't broadcast Trump's speech because he says things that are not true and "sometimes potentially dangerous."
Red State: Left Melts Down After Fox News Chyron Gives Biden a Jaw-Dropping Label
PBS ran chyrons during Trump's speech warning of potential violence, but did not do the same for Biden's remarks which demonized millions of Americans. Meanwhile, Fox ran a chyron referring to Biden as a "wannabe dictator" during a split screen of Trump and Biden, causing controversy among the left. Some on the right found the Fox chyron humorous and on point, but it is unclear whether it was intentional or a mistake. Representatives for Fox News did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The Epoch Times: Trump Gets the Beria Treatment
The recent indictments against Trump have brought about a range of opinions, highlighting the limited perspectives of individuals. However, it is evident that the partisanship in this issue is largely on the anti-Trump side. The attacks on Trump have been ongoing since his election, and the recent indictments are simply the latest chapter in this drama. Despite legal experts describing the indictments as "damning," there are doubts surrounding the evidence and the motivations behind the indictment. The government's use of the criminal justice system to conduct a partisan witch hunt is a threat to democracy and could lead to a one-party oligarchy.
PJ Media: Fox News Says the Quiet Part About Biden Out Loud, While PBS Parrots Left-Wing Talking Points
Fox News showed a split screen of former president Donald Trump and President Joe Biden during their respective speeches, with a chyron reading, "Wannabe dictator speaks at White House after having his political rival arrested." In contrast, PBS ran a chyron during their coverage of Trump's remarks warning about the dangers of inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials. Many conservatives have turned away from Fox News after the firing of Tucker Carlson and the network's perceived shift towards mainstream media.
Daily Wire: Biden Tells U.S. Parents: ‘They’re All Our Kids.’ Elon Musk Fires Defiant Response.
Elon Musk and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, among others, have responded strongly to a White House video where President Joe Biden said, "These are our kids. These are our neighbors. Not somebody else’s kids. They’re all our kids.” Musk tweeted, "You are the government. They are NOT your kids," while DeSantis’ presidential campaign tweeted, "They are not your kids." The Biden administration has expressed similar sentiments before, with Biden stating in April, "There’s no such thing as someone else’s child," and "Our nation’s children are all our children." Republicans have pushed back, seeking to give parents more control over the forces that affect their children, with DeSantis signing House Bill (HB) 1557, Parental Rights in Education, which reinforced parents’ fundamental rights to make decisions regarding the upbringing of their children. The bill prohibited classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity in kindergarten through third grade and barred instruction that was not age appropriate.
The Federalist Papers: UFC Legend Has Powerful 3-Word Message for Trump While Surprising 45 in Miami
Former UFC star Jorge Masvidal called former President Donald Trump a "champ" during a stop at an iconic Cuban bakery in Miami, where the two were greeted by supporters shouting words of encouragement. Despite Trump pleading not guilty to 37 felony counts related to alleged mishandling of classified documents, customers at the Versailles Bakery took photos with the former president and sang "Happy Birthday" on Tuesday evening. Masvidal, who retired in April and is a vocal Trump supporter, tweeted a photo of himself with the 2024 presidential candidate and wrote, "We got your back." ( )
Fox News: 'Profoundly disturbing': Hillary Clinton reacts to Republicans defending Trump over federal indictment
Hillary Clinton criticizes Republican defense of Trump over handling of classified documents, calling their actions "profoundly disturbing." Clinton refutes comparisons made to her email scandal, stating that "this is on a track about him, not about anyone else." Trump denies the federal indictment, which alleges he refused to return classified documents and stored them inappropriately, putting national security at risk.

The Epoch Times: Does Tucker Carlson Have Free Speech Rights?
In a free society, contracts are useful but have limits. Recent events surrounding Tucker Carlson's non-compete contract with Fox demonstrate these limits. Fox cancelled his show but still expects him to abide by the exclusivity provision until 2024, effectively silencing him for the entire election season. Carlson's attorneys argue that the cancellation breaches the contract, as Fox is withholding a major part of the consideration it owes him. The reason for Fox's actions remains unclear, but Carlson's recent focus on the power of Big Pharma and scandals associated with the pandemic response suggest a possible motive. Carlson has exercised his free speech rights by posting on Twitter, but his legal duress leaves his status unclear.
Fox News: Polish women plan abortion rights protests, demand liberalization of abortion law
Women's rights advocates in Poland have called for protests in nearly 50 cities across the country under the slogan "Stop killing us" after a woman died of sepsis in May while in her fifth month of pregnancy. The protests are demanding a liberalisation of the country's restrictive abortion laws. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that women had a right to a legal abortion in such cases, but anti-abortion groups argue that these deaths are unrelated to the new law and are instead due to medical mistakes. The current law, which has effectively outlawed abortion, allows the procedure only in cases of rape or incest or if there is a threat to the woman's life or health.
The Right Scoop: Middle school students REVOLT over Pride spirit day, tear down Pride decorations and more… [VIDEO]
Middle school students in Burlington, Massachusetts organized a counter protest against a Pride Month spirit day, tearing down Pride decorations and wearing red, white and blue instead of pride flag colors. Some students also chanted ‘USA are my pronouns’ in an obvious defiance of the pride day spirit. Some parents are upset, while others say it was blown out of proportion.
Newsbusters: Biden’s ‘Inspiring’ LGBTQ People Give us Butts, Boobs & BDSM | Woke of the Weak
Woke of the Weak covers the progressive insanity of Pride Month celebrations around the US, with clips of kids in Dallas picking pride pins that say things like 'thot' and 'kinky', and posters featuring Disney characters in BDSM. An HIV testing station and Monkeypox vaccination are also available, while in Boston, students join furries and kinky pets in a parade. It's inappropriate for kids or anyone to see, let alone be praised as "inspiring" by the president.

The Blaze: Gain-of-function researchers involved in possible Chinese military bioweapons research were among first infected by COVID-19: Report
Chinese scientists at Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) conducting dangerous gain-of-function experiments on coronaviruses were the first to be infected by COVID-19. Multiple US government officials revealed that the "patients zero" were Ben Hu, Yu Ping, and Yan Zhu, all WIV researchers. Hu worked with the institute's gain-of-function research on SARS-like coronaviruses. It is now uncertain how long the US government has known about this and why it failed to disclose to the American people that the virus that upended their lives was not the result of a zoonotic infection, but almost certainly an error made by an adversary bent on developing a weapon of mass destruction.
The mounting evidence of the lab leak and the malicious intent now paints China's resultant cover-up in a new light. Chinese authorities delayed warning the world about the deadly disease, going to great lengths to silence doctors, such as the late Li Wenliang, who had tried to raise the alarm. A Five Eyes intelligence dossier accused the CCP of engaging in an "assault on international transparency" to the "endangerment of other countries." The CCP simultaneously covered up the outbreak while hoarding critical medical supplies, denying sample requests from other countries, and cutting other countries off from items believed necessary to tackle the virus.

The Epoch Times: Real Estate Investors Undeterred by Reports of Violent Crime in Mexico
Mexico’s Los Cabos and other key locations have been named in the “Top 10 Best Places in the World for Real Estate Investment” according to Real Estate Trend Alert, prompting many investors to flock to the country. However, last October, the US Department of State issued a travel advisory primarily citing violent crime in certain areas. The actual risk is subjective, and in fact “most [resort] areas are still safer than some US cities”. Nonetheless, the DOS currently asks that people avoid travel to six Mexican states, with seven more when reconsidering travel and exercising increased caution is recommended when travelling to 17 states. Despite these warnings, more than 1.5 million Americans live in the country or own Mexican property.

National Review: The Corner: Catholics Not Dodging Prayer in Response to Dodgers Pride Night on Friday
The Los Angeles Dodgers Pride Night has caused controversy by celebrating the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" on a day which is the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Catholic liturgical calendar. This has sparked calls for prayer from the U.S. Catholic Bishops, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and other Christians, urging Catholics to pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart, calling it an act of reparation for the blasphemies against their Lord seen in society today. Archdiocese of LA is standing against bigotry, hate, and sacrilege, calling on Catholics to unite and stand together in prayer on June 16.

The Blaze: 'Did forcing 2-year-olds to wear masks save lives?' Congressman grills HHS secretary on mask mandates
Republican Rep. Kevin Kiley queried U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra on whether enforcing mask-wearing on two-year-olds saved lives. Becerra maintained that mask mandates had been guidance rather than forced, and refused to address Kiley's direct question, explaining that the Biden administration did not have the jurisdiction or authority to mandate mask-wearing. In a separate development, Becerra revealed that states that prohibited sex changes or hormone therapy for minors would not receive federal hospital grants. Republican Indiana Rep. Jim Banks questioned whether HHS would withhold hospital grants from states that refused to provide the treatment, and Becerra responded that the HHS would ensure all Americans had access to entitled healthcare.

Field & Stream: What Do Bass Eat?
Bass are opportunistic feeders and will eat almost anything that moves in the water. Their mood to feed is largely dictated by water temperature and barometric pressure. Bass' favorite foods are baitfish, sunfish and crappies, crayfish, and frogs. The selection of bait should be based on the knowledge of the prey available in the specific body of water being fished.

Fox News: European lawmakers sign off on world's first set of rules for artificial intelligence
Europe has signed off on the world's first comprehensive rules for artificial intelligence, clearing a critical step before it becomes law, paving the way for other countries working on similar regulations. The measure will govern any product or service that uses an artificial intelligence system and classify AI systems based on four levels of risk, from minimal to unacceptable. One of the EU's key objectives is to guard against any AI threats to health and safety and protect fundamental rights and values; as such, real-time remote facial recognition and biometric identification in public spaces are banned, and AI uses such as predictive policing tools, "social scoring" systems, and AI that exploits vulnerable groups are listed as absolute no-nos.

The Epoch Times: Lawmakers Clash Over Forest Management Resolution Amid Rising Wildfire Threat
A heated debate rages in the House Committee on Natural Resources over HR 188, the “Proven Forest Management Act” that proposes to mitigate the increasing threat of forest fires nationwide. Republicans and Democrats clashed over the legislation regarding forest management; Democrats seek to tackle climate change as the answer to combating wildfires, while Republicans rally behind the “Proven Forest Management Act” to cope with the devastation. Supporters point to the success story of the Caldor Fire in South Lake Tahoe, California, where prior fuel reduction treatments conducted under the special Categorical Exclusion played a pivotal role in safeguarding the community. However, opponents argue that such stories were exceptions and not representative of the larger wildfire problem. The meeting concluded without a resolution, highlighting the deep divisions between the two parties.
The Epoch Times: House Passes Bill to Nullify ATF Pistol Brace Rule
The House passed a bill to nullify a controversial ATF rule regulating pistol stabilizing braces, with Senate passage unlikely and President Biden vowing to veto the bill if it passes. The Congressional Review Act allows Congress to disapprove rules through a bill passed in both chambers and signed into law by the president. Democrats invoked mass shootings in their arguments, while Republicans argued that disabled veterans' rights were being trampled and that the rule represented an unconstitutional usurpation of congressional legislative authority. The rule went into effect on Jan. 31, and owners of unregistered devices by the May 31 deadline could face up to 10 years in prison, $250,000 in fines, or both for each violation.
Fox News: Activists work to relocate giraffe stuck in small Mexican enclosure, exposed to scorching sun and hail
Animal rights activists are demanding a park in Ciudad Juarez to relocate a three-year-old giraffe named Benito to a more hospitable location as the animal suffers from extreme and unfamiliar climate conditions in a small and bare enclosure. Texas sanctuary ranch Blue Hills has offered to buy or adopt Benito. Activists say it is cruel for the city-run Central Park to keep the giraffe in a small fenced enclosure, by himself alone, with only half an acre to wander and few trees to nibble, in a climate he’s not used to. The park acknowledged that they can't provide more trees, but officials who want to increase park visitors with the addition of Benito are rejecting the criticism.
Benito the giraffe arrived in Mexico’s arid northern border city of Ciudad Juarez last month and already the climate appears to be a problem. The snow and freezing temperatures of winter are still to come, and animal activists are pushing a campaign under the hashtag "Save Benito" seeking to have the animal moved somewhere more hospitable. The park is also building a larger sun canopy for the giraffe and dredging out garbage and fetid water from a pool that takes up much of the enclosure. Benito will have fresh water in a trough. Officials at the park reject the criticism, saying his presence has been important in boosting the park's popularity among visitors, largely children. Monthly visits rose from about 140,000 before Benito arrived to 200,000.
