What percentage of political donations from self-identified fact checkers go to Democrats?
Nearly 100% of political donations made by those identifying as "fact checkers" went to Democrats and liberal groups in the past four election cycles. Only three donations went to Republicans, with top recipients including Senator Bernie Sanders. The New York Times and Reuters also employed "fact checkers" who donated to Democratic campaigns and candidates, and fact checkers have been known to incorrectly label factual information as misinformation.

Keith Olbermann hammered after claiming Hillary Clinton team never destroyed gov't devices: 'Hallucinating'

Olbermann suggested the Congresswoman was hallucinating, but was fact-checked with articles from CNN, Business Insider and Snopes that corroborated her tweet. Congressman Nancy Mace, R-S.C. took the opportunity to publicly declare victory in the argument with Olbermann.

Hillary Clinton drew ire on Twitter after she appeared to mock former President Donald Trump for his recent indictment. Clinton claimed investigators found "zero" classified emails on her private email server, despite a 2018 government report saying 193 emails were sent to or from her server.

Fox News: How Elon Musk changed the future of protesting at work
How Elon Musk changed the future of protesting at work
The "right to protest" movement is gaining momentum with office workers protesting a variety of self-identified injustices, from climate change to social issues. While historically, labor protests were organized by unions to draw attention to low pay or poor working conditions, today's protesters are focused on social issues and grievances against their own companies, expressing their frustrations in an effort to draw attention and spark change. While employers have been reluctant to fire protesters, some, like Elon Musk, have made it clear that employees must return to work or risk termination. The future of protesting at work is uncertain, with employers and consumers becoming increasingly tired of being subjected to social movement agendas in the workplace.

Multiple Target Stores Across U.S. Hit With Bomb Threats For ‘Betraying The LGBTQ+ Community’: Report
Multiple Target stores across the U.S. received bomb threats over the weekend for allegedly betraying the LGBTQ+ community by tamping down on some of the Pride Month products sold in its stores due to massive backlash the company has faced. The FBI is now investigating the bomb threats that have been made in stores located in Oklahoma, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Louisiana, Ohio, Utah, and Pennsylvania. JPMorgan said that it was downgrading Target’s stock because of the “recent company controversies” and the company has since lost more than $15 billion in market cap.

The threats continued over the weekend when seven stores in Oklahoma received a threat that began, “We are going to play a game” and included the date of the Oklahoma City bombing, which killed 168 people. The Washington Post reported that the threats were made by those accusing the store of betraying the LGBTQ+ community.

Foreign Policy: Is Berlin Ready to Break the Bank?
Is Berlin Ready to Break the Bank?
The "black zero," or schwarze Null policy, has been an integral part of Germany's fiscal policy since the 2008 financial crisis, requiring balanced budgets and limiting structural deficits. However, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia's war in Ukraine, Germany has temporarily moved away from this policy to spend heavily to offset the economic impact of these crises. The debate over Germany's relationship with debt has led to calls for a fundamental shift in the country's approach to national debt, with some economists advocating for new debt to invest in the future, such as updating the country's infrastructure, adapting to climate change, and building a carbon-neutral energy system.

The Federalist: New Gloomy 'Little Mermaid' Couldn't Dull Halle Bailey's Shine
New Gloomy 'Little Mermaid' Couldn't Dull Halle Bailey's Shine
Disney's live-action "Little Mermaid" lacks the vibrance and magic of the original animated film, with undersea scenes being particularly dull and lacking whimsy. However, the film features a standout performance by Halle Bailey as Ariel, bringing a new level of emotional depth to the character. Bailey's beauty, talent, and remarkable vocal ability cannot be held back by the film's problems. The film's design also fails to highlight and complement Bailey's blackness, ultimately seeming like idolizing racial politics.

Forbes: Cleveland Guardians Face Decision Regarding Shortstop Amed Rosario
Cleveland Guardians Face Decision Regarding Shortstop Amed Rosario
Cleveland Guardians' shortstop Amed Rosario is in the final year of his $7.8m contract, and the team has to decide whether to offer him an extension or trade him before he becomes a free agent. While Rosario has not performed as well this year, the Guardians will have to weigh his value as a warm-weather hitter with his relationship with team leader Jose Ramirez against the cost of an extension. If they trade him, the limited demand for shortstops means they may not get a good deal.

Trading both ace starter Shane Bieber and Amed Rosario in the same deal could make sense and improve the return for the Guardians. There are some major league teams that need help at shortstop, but Rosario is not an elite player like Corey Seager or Francisco Lindor. The Guardians have to balance their need for a shortstop against the cost of a possible extension and the reduced return of a trade in a weak market.
