Breitbart: Haley: Trump 'Incredibly Reckless' with National Security if Charges Are True
Haley: Trump 'Incredibly Reckless' with National Security if Charges Are True
Former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said that if federal charges against President Trump are true, he was "incredibly reckless with our national security." She explained that the FBI and DOJ have lost credibility with the American people and require an overhaul. If the indictment is accurate, then Trump's actions put military men and women in jeopardy, causing problems, and frustration with his recklessness.

DeSantis: My DOJ Will Go After DEI-Based Discrimination by Government, Academia, Corporations
Ron DeSantis plans to refocus federal law enforcement on issues such as rising crime in urban areas, the CCP's influence in society, drug cartels, and human trafficking if he is elected president in 2024. He also pledges to lead the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division with "no tolerance for discrimination of all kinds," including examining how organizations are using diversity, equity, and inclusion policies in a discriminatory manner.

American Thinker: Biden, Trump, and the emerging Democrat MAGA movement
Biden, Trump, and the emerging Democrat MAGA movement
President Biden and the MSM are trying to divide Republican voters, claiming that "MAGA Republicans" are the real problem facing America. However, this strategy is failing as Trump's popularity increases, leading to a potential political blunder. The hard left's vicious attacks on any dissenting voices may force out sane and pro-America members of the Democratic Party.

DeSantis: Agencies Should Have D.C. Footprint Cut 'by at Least 50%' and Especially FBI, DOJ Through More Focus on Field Offices
Ron DeSantis, potential 2024 presidential candidate and Governor of Florida, wants to reduce the size of federal agencies in Washington, D.C. by at least 50%, with a particular focus on the DOJ and FBI, in favor of more local field offices. He believes that Article II powers can be used to gain control of the sprawling bureaucracy and that the current Supreme Court would support the notion that some of the bureaucracy's restrictions impinge on his authority to run the executive branch. DeSantis also argues that the politicized culture within the FBI headquarters in D.C. is toxic to the rule of law and that field offices need to take on a greater role.

Washington Free Beacon: Fact Check: Nearly 100 Percent of Political Contributions From Fact Checkers Go to Democrats
Fact Check: Nearly 100 Percent of Political Contributions From Fact Checkers Go to Democrats
Political donations from self-identified fact checkers overwhelmingly go to Democrats, with 99.5% of donations from the past four election cycles going to the Left. Top recipients include Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Joe Biden. This contradicts claims of neutrality from fact-checking operations and raises questions about their impartiality.

Breitbart: Vivek Files FOIA to Know if WH Spoke to DOJ About Trump Indictment
Vivek Files FOIA to Know if WH Spoke to DOJ About Trump Indictment
The Vivek Ramaswamy campaign filed a FOIA to uncover White House communications with Attorney General Merrick Garland and Special Counsel Jack Smith over the Trump indictment. Ramaswamy committed to pardon Trump if elected and defended him from the weaponization of Biden’s DOJ, while other GOP candidates remained quiet.

Breitbart: George Conway: Conservatives Claiming to Believe in Rule of Law Is 'Bullsh-t'
George Conway: Conservatives Claiming to Believe in Rule of Law Is 'Bullsh-t'
George Conway calls out conservatives on supporting Trump despite his federal indictment, stating that the evidence shows guilt on multiple counts and that Republicans want Trump gone but don't want to be blamed for it. He questions why more Republicans don't distance themselves from Trump and let the case play out. Conway emphasizes that belief in equal treatment under the law seems to be disregarded by those who continue to support Trump.

American Thinker: The Three Republicans Worth Talking About for 2024
The Three Republicans Worth Talking About for 2024
The next American presidential election year is set to be a potboiler with Joseph Robinette Biden running on three planks: the war in Ukraine with Russia, the war for woke at home, and "anybody but Trump." The Beltway swamp has American Democrats marching globally under rainbow flags, making for bizarre bedfellows. Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis are possible Republican contenders, both prominent figures in the war against woke politics. Meanwhile, Donald Trump remains the lead dog in the Republican pack and his re-election quest appears to be a political revenge tour.

Spectator USA: A series of local surrenders could end the Ukraine war
A series of local surrenders could end the Ukraine war
As World War Two came to an end, American and Nazi SS General Karl Wolff held secret talks to expedite a German surrender in Italy and Austria. With the war in Ukraine showing no signs of ending soon, a similar backdoor deal might be necessary to negotiate isolated, local surrenders of Russian forces. While the US desires to help Ukraine win and end the war, it faces Putin's ideological determination to continue the war, China's involvement, and the fog of Russian elite discontent over Putin's inability to win. Therefore, the US must consider exploring avenues for a new "Operation Sunrise" to put Kyiv in a strong position for future talks and end the bloodshed.

Fox News: Wildfires aren’t getting worse because of climate change. The real culprit will surprise you
Wildfires aren’t getting worse because of climate change. The real culprit will surprise you
Wildfires are raging across Canadian provinces, causing smoke and alarm in major US cities. Biden and Warren have used this as an opportunity to draw attention to climate change. However, the historical data collected by the NIFC proves otherwise. Wildfires are not becoming more frequent or burning more acreage. Many different factors such as forest management practices and increasing population can contribute to the frequency and severity of wildfires. Policymakers should be focusing on ways to improve forest management, rather than promoting propaganda about global warming.

Forbes: Durbin Remains Persistent – And Misguided
Durbin Remains Persistent – And Misguided
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Republican Senator J.D. Vance propose new regulations and price controls for credit cards, despite the negative impact of similar policies on the debit card market. The proposed Credit Card Competition Act aims to force companies to offer comparable services and has already faced criticism for discouraging competition. Visa and Mastercard do not have a duopoly in the market, and even if they did, price controls and routing requirements would harm consumers. Repealing the Durbin Amendment would be a better approach to encouraging competition and innovation.

Washington Free Beacon: How Tobacco Companies Are Crushing ESG Ratings
How Tobacco Companies Are Crushing ESG Ratings
Big tobacco companies have scored higher than Tesla in ESG (environmental, social and governance) ratings tools due to their apparent focus on corporate progressivism, including diversity programs and social justice initiatives. S&P Global ranked Phillips Morris International and British American Tobacco (BAT) among the top companies on its share index while Tesla earned a lower score than companies including Altria and Phillip Morris. Industry campaigners have warned that tobacco companies are using the ratings system to promote “corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives while obscuring the significant health, economic, and environmental damage they cause”. ESG ratings once targeted companies in the so-called sin stocks group, which included tobacco firms, but experts have warned that such funds have become too woke and macro-focused, with too little consideration given to companies’ specific activities. This had led to ratings tools incorporating “variables… from labour practices and carbon pledges to diversity trainings and human rights.” Tobacco companies have used such factors to play investors and win better scores than rival firms in areas such as environmental impact.

Forbes: South Carolina’s Certificate Of Need Repeal Is The Largest In Almost Three Decades
South Carolina’s Certificate Of Need Repeal Is The Largest In Almost Three Decades
South Carolina has repealed Certificate of Need (CON) laws which were causing backlogs for healthcare procedures in the state. The repeal campaign saw policymakers utilise research, interpersonal relationships, and effective grass roots campaigns to deliver their message. South Carolina saw significant opposition from special interest groups such as hospitals, who have prevented similar CON repeals in other states.

Flag And Cross: Crocodiles May Offer Solution To Deadly Antibiotic-resistant Infections
Crocodiles May Offer Solution To Deadly Antibiotic-resistant Infections
Australian researchers from La Trobe University have found that crocodile proteins called defensins could be used to help combat infections in humans. Defensins are small proteins that detect and announce an infection to the immune system; saltwater crocodile defensin CpoBD13 harbours an intriguing antimicrobial activity dependent on environmental pH which allows the body to recognize which area or cells are infected. The research could help in creating targeted treatment for fungal infections in humans, which are becoming increasingly frequent due to growing antibiotic resistance. The defensins enable the development of a pH-sensing mechanism to engineer other defensins to turn off or on depending on the presence of infection.

Cutting Dalvin Cook Means Vikings Must Extend Danielle Hunter At Any Price
Danielle Hunter is in a strong position with the Minnesota Vikings after their recent loss of key players. Hunter, who is set to earn $5.5 million in the final year of his contract, is holding out for better terms and doesn't intend to participate in the team’s mandatory minicamp. The Vikings don't have another significant pass rusher on the roster, making Hunter a critical player for their defense this season.

American Thinker: The Nuclear Theory You Never Knew Was Nonsense
The Nuclear Theory You Never Knew Was Nonsense
The Health Physics Society, a professional organization of radiation safety experts and officials, is being hijacked by government and private scientists attempting to cover up a pattern of misconduct to keep in place the "linear non-threshold model" (LNT) used by regulatory agencies to set permitted exposure standards for radiation. The model is being debunked by Ed Calabrese, the subject of the society's 22 video series, which is being censored and silenced. Hormesis, the concept that a low level of exposure to radiation is beneficial, is not in line with the LNT radiation risk theory. The Calabrese video series is based on 14 hours of interviews with Dr. Calabrese and aims to debunk LNT radiation biophysics.

An exposé by Steve Milloy reveals how members of the Health Physics Society, including government-employed or funded actors and others committed to LNT, are attempting to remove anti-LNT members from the society's leadership and crush Ed Calabrese, an expert on low-level radiation hazards who is debunking the "linear non-threshold model" used to set permitted exposure standards for radiation. The LNT model, which asserts that any exposure to radiation puts people at risk and that there is no safe level of radiation, based on research by Hermann Muller, is being debunked by the Calabrese video series, and the fallout has been a takeover attempt by leftist environmentalists who dominate public radiation safety science. Ike Eisenhower's warning of public policy becoming the captive of a scientific-technological elite and Angelo Codevilla's warning of an army of unelected "experts" controlling an administrative state tyranny, are both pertinent to this situation.

Charlize Theron nearly broke her neck falling while filming “Aeon Flux” and Blake Lively shattered her hand while filming a fight scene for “The Rhythm Section”. In 2018, Jeremy Renner broke both arms while filming a scene for “Tag” and Jane Seymour broke her kneecap while filming “Harry Wild” in 2021.

Forbes: Near-Term Solar Installations Are Set To Explode In The US
Near-Term Solar Installations Are Set To Explode In The US
The US solar industry is expected to install 40-50 GW of capacity within a few years, up from the maximum 25 GW recorded to date. Annual average growth will be 11%, with installed projects set to rise from 150 GW today to almost 700 GW by 2033. This translates to capital expenditures of about $45bn p.a. now and almost $72bn by 2033. However, there are many challenges, including the time it takes to connect to the grid and changing policy challenges related to distributed solar projects. Industry insiders suggest there are numerous opportunities for investment, with the pairing of solar and storage as the best option.
