Red State: Noted 'Child Psychiatry' Expert Sunny Hostin Babbles About GOP Kids Being Raised Without 'Moral Compasses'
ABC’s “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin made baseless accusations, claiming that Republicans have had broken “moral compasses” since they were five years old. She also made ridiculous, fact-less comments regarding Nikki Haley's changing political views and Donald Trump having given Chris Christie COVID-19. The show and its co-hosts continue to spew nonsense to low-information viewers.

Trump's arraignment is expected to take place with 37 charges, and he is expected to plead not guilty. Fox News: Rep. Banks presses HHS Sec. Becerra on 'evil' gender transition policies for children: 'It's indefensible'
Republican Congressman Jim Banks clashed with HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra at a hearing, accusing the Biden administration of defending "evil" policies on transgender issues. Banks questioned Becerra's support for young children undergoing gender transition procedures while simultaneously supporting laws that prevent 18-20 year-olds from owning firearms. He also pressed Becerra on whether an 18-year-old should be allowed to own a hunting rifle, and criticized the HHS report that recommends cutting off funds from states that "stigmatize transgender children." Becerra repeatedly dodged the questions, leading Banks to accuse him of avoiding the issues.
Fox News: Soros-backed group ramps up spending in Virginia prosecutors races
George Soros' Justice and Public Safety PAC has invested $125,000 into two Virginia prosecutors, Parisa Dehghani-Tafti and Steve Descano, who they helped get elected four years ago, as they face reelection against Democratic challengers in the upcoming primary. The PAC had previously donated $1.2 million to elect both prosecutors in 2019 and has a history of providing last-minute donations to DA candidates. Soros typically backs candidates who oppose cash bail, support restorative justice and refrain from charging minors as adults, as part of his effort to overhaul the criminal justice system.
Fox News: Top Republican moves to force Biden energy secretary to disclose meetings with CCP-tied groups
Republican Congressman Bill Huizenga has introduced a bill to require Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to disclose her meetings with non-governmental organizations, including groups with ties to the Chinese Communist Party that have pushed for energy bans or received federal funding. Huizenga's transparency amendment comes in response to a Fox News report revealing Granholm's meeting with the CEO of the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), a group seeking bans on gas stoves, which has collaborated with the Chinese government. Huizenga is part of a Republican effort to resist the Biden administration's moves to regulate gas stoves.
The Save Our Gas Stoves Act introduced by Rep. Debbie Lesko would block the Department of Energy from imposing tougher conservation standards, while the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act will bar government regulatory efforts to ban gas stoves. Republicans Huizenga and Alex Mooney introduced the Stop Trying to Obsessively Vilify Energy Act that forbids federal agencies from imposing bans on gas stoves and other gas-powered appliances. Republicans argue that the Biden administration is pursuing radical energy policies influenced by anti-energy groups, some of which have ties to China, and pushing an agenda to raise costs on Americans and small businesses.
Fox News: Marco Rubio warns US will pay 'terrible price' for Trump indictment: 'You think this ends here?'
Republican senator Marco Rubio criticizes former President Trump's indictment as "incredibly damaging" to the country, describing it as a political stunt. Trump has pleaded not guilty to 37 federal felony charges related to handling of classified documents. Rubio claims the DOJ's charges will polarize the already divided country, and the indictment will put the US institutions at stake. Rubio also alleges that the next Republican president may face similar pressure to bring charges against the Biden family, leading the country towards a dangerous trajectory .
Breitbart: Mitch McConnell Refuses to Say if He Would Support Trump if Convicted

Vance and Speaker Kevin McCarthy, have spoken out against the weaponization of the Biden Justice Department against Trump, with McCarthy calling it a "dark day for the United States of America."
Breitbart: Karine Jean-Pierre Claims Joe Biden 'Not Involved' in Trump Indictment
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denies President Biden's involvement in the indictment of Donald Trump. Biden claims to have had no role in the case or contact with his attorney general about it. GOP primary contender Vivek Ramaswamy files a Freedom of Information Act to uncover any White House communication with the attorney general or special counsel about Trump's indictment. Trump pleads not guilty to 37 counts of alleged crimes, including 31 separate counts of alleged willful retention of national defense information under the Espionage Act.
National Review: The Corner: Gavin Newsom Desperately Wants to Be Called on by the Teacher
California Governor Gavin Newsom is making a push for national recognition with his constant appearances in interviews and public stunts, hoping to elevate his Q-rating and potentially challenge Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination. His ambition is obvious and comedic, with his primary weakness being his overeagerness for a job he has no right to ask for. Despite his visibly sleazy conduct, Newsom has worked hard to get where he is through his connections to an ultra-rich progressive family with ties to the Pelosis and the Getty Oil fortune.
Daily Wire: Tuesday Afternoon Update: Trump Arraigned, White House Bans Topless Transgender Activist

Lockdowns have caused marketplaces to disappear, leaving us without the social connections and sense of community that commerce provides. The absence of market relationships has resulted in demoralization, loneliness, and even hate. Markets are returning, but they are dominated by big corporations and plagued by inflation. We need to reverse this trajectory and prioritize engagement, community, truth, and love in order to fight back against power and evil. We cannot allow this dream of freedom to die in our generation.

Remote workers leaving California are being offered benefits by rural towns in an effort to attract them, the Los Angeles Times reports. Sweeteners include health insurance credits, golf club memberships and a seat on a nonprofit board. The competition for remote workers is reportedly strong across the country and is luring a significant proportion of California's remote workforce away.
Rural areas are becoming increasingly attractive to those living in more populated, expensive areas such as Los Angeles, and population statistics reveal that 500,000 Californians left the state between April 2020 and July 2022. Other cities are following the lead of Poplar Bluffs, Missouri, offering low cost of living and low commutes as reasons to relocate to rural areas.

The Epoch Times: Sen. Grassley: Ukrainian Executive Named in Allegations About Bidens Taped Calls for ‘Insurance’
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has revealed that an FBI report from an informant indicates the Ukrainian executive involved in the allegations against President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden kept 17 audio recordings of his conversations with them for “insurance.” The recordings are said to include 15 phone conversations between the Ukrainian gas executive and Hunter Biden and two phone calls between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden. The executive allegedly viewed the recordings as an "insurance policy" in case he found himself in trouble. Grassley questioned why the FBI considered redactions necessary on an unclassified document and about whether the case was being adequately investigated.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has called allegations contained within an FBI informant's report "deeply troubling." The report alleges that Burisma Holdings, on the advice of board member Hunter Biden, had considered purchasing a US based oil and gas company in 2015 while under investigation by Viktor Shokin, the then-prosecutor general of Ukraine. The FBI informant, an advisor to Burisma, said that he urged the company to disregard Biden's advice. Greene said the informant alleged that Hunter Biden was hired to "make the problems go away" with Shokin. His exit in 2016 came around one month after then-Vice President Joe Biden threatened to cut off $1 billion in guaranteed loans to Ukraine unless Shokin was sacked.

While liberal democracies have identified potential dangers of AI, authoritarian powers might not do so. Steinmeier calls for the society to develop legal and ethical frameworks to monitor AI. Some experts worry that AI-fueled misinformation could become prevalent in the 2024 U.S. presidential race, with videos, images, and text generated via AI used to sway and influence the public. Misuse of AI is already happening and has been condemned by the American Association of Political Consultants.
Flag And Cross: Israel To Build Thousands Of Homes In West Bank

The move, which includes at least 4,000 housing units in several existing communities, will be approved by the Israeli Civil Administration Planning and Zoning Committee before the end of June. The Biden administration is pressuring Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition to nix or minimize the announcement, citing that expanding Israeli communities in the area undermines the prospects for a two-state solution.
The Epoch Times: IN-DEPTH: What Happens Now That Johnston Has Stepped Down as Special Rapporteur?
Former governor general David Johnston has resigned from his role as special rapporteur on foreign election interference and the government is considering establishing a public inquiry into allegations of foreign meddling. Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc has been instructed by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to hold consultations with “legal scholars” and opposition party leaders to determine the next steps. All federal opposition parties passed a motion calling on Johnston to step down from his position after he advised against calling a public inquiry citing concerns about intelligence information needing to remain confidential. The Conservative Party has stated its desired terms of reference for any public inquiry, the person appointed must be independent and unbiased, have no ties to the Trudeau family or the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and reference terms and timelines must be outlined.

The collapse of a section of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia will lead to higher prices of goods for people on the East Coast, according to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. The failure of the small section of highway could have far-reaching economic impacts. Buttigieg did not specify which goods will have price increases or how much the increases may be, but he said 8% of the 160,000 vehicles that pass through are trucks and a lot of America’s GDP moves along that section of I-95 daily. Emergency relief funds are already available for engineering and construction needs.
A section of I-95 northbound between Exits 30 and 32 in Philadelphia partially collapsed on Sunday due to an accident, leading to the closure of the critical thoroughfare in both directions. The collapse impacted the daily travel of many in the densely populated area, and as of Tuesday afternoon, one body had been discovered in the wreckage of the collapse. The body was found on Monday and turned over to the Philadelphia County Medical Examiner and Coroner’s office. The identity of the person hasn’t been released.
Red State: The Bud Light Fiasco - Why Companies Go 'Woke'
Bud Light faced backlash after going woke in their advertising, with many former customers boycotting their products. The decision may have been influenced by generational attitudes, as the marketer was a thirty-something who made derogatory comments about the main target demographic. However, the power of the consumer purse is clear - boycotts can have economic consequences and even large corporations must listen to their customers to avoid financial losses. While some individuals may not care about woke issues, others will remember and choose not to support certain brands, which is a fundamental aspect of capitalism and liberty.

The Epoch Times: US Marines to Integrate Tech, Amphibious Power Against China
The US Marine Corps is focusing on integrating new technologies to counter Chinese rivals. As part of Force Design 2030, the Marine Corps will have to take on more risk to ensure greater battlefield rewards. With a focus on amphibious warfare, the Marine Corps hopes to maintain an advantage in any conflict with China. The majority of China's naval forces, including the China coast guard and maritime militia forces, are stationed within 300 miles of the country, putting the United States at a sizable disadvantage should a war break out in the Indo-Pacific. By leveraging new technologies such as space-based targeting systems, autonomous vehicles, and AI-enabled lethal autonomous systems, the Marine Corps expects to stay ahead of the competition. In order to understand new technologies at every level of command, new training and understanding of potential enemy capabilities will be required.

The Epoch Times: Just a Little Patience
Overnight oats are a new breakfast fad that involves soaking oats instead of cooking them. They can be dressed up with fruits, nuts, and sweet syrups. Rolled oats soften the quickest, taking only a few minutes to soak, while steel cut oats take much longer. Different grains soften at different rates, and the choice of liquid also affects the final product. A favorite combination for overnight oats is spelt flakes and rye flakes soaked in plain yogurt, with added chia seeds and frozen blueberries for a soft, sweet, chewy tangy taste.
The Epoch Times: Fermented Foods Improve Brain Health: Study
Fermented foods may improve cognitive function by modulating neurotransmitters and impacting brain function. Certain fermented foods, such as sauerkraut, contain choline, essential for the production of acetylcholine. Research shows that eating fermented foods may have long- and short-term impacts on brain function, resulting in improved mood and reduced stress.
Preliminary findings from a study in Ireland suggest that almost all fermented foods show the ability to improve gut and brain health. Fermented sugar-based and fermented vegetable-based products, in particular, are beneficial for brain health. Research demonstrates that our gut plays an active role in affecting mood and behavior through the microbiome-gut-brain axis, leading to the conclusion that mental health is more than an internalized problem of individual brains. Adding fermented foods such as yogurt, kimchi, miso, and sauerkraut to your diet is an excellent way to enhance your gut microbiome and improve brain health.

Masai giraffes are even more endangered than previously thought due to their inability to climb, warns a new study. Due to illegal hunting and habitat loss, giraffe numbers have declined sharply in the last 30 years. Tanzanian and Kenyan Masai giraffes, considered endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, have declined by around half, with only about 35,000 individuals remaining. The researchers recommend that the two giraffe populations be considered separately for conservation purposes with separate but coordinated efforts.

Washington Free Beacon: Biden Admin Backs City of Berkeley in Bid to Ban Gas Stoves
Biden administration supports Berkeley, California's gas stove ban in court, arguing it is a health and safety issue, not violating federal law. This move could allow other states and cities to enact similar bans. If successful, the ban could reignite a political firestorm. Critics say half of all gas stoves would be nullified by Biden's proposed regulation, but the energy department states that "the full range of gas stoves is absolutely not affected." Green groups have urged Biden to alleviate legal scrutiny of city-level gas restrictions. Failure to overturn the court decision blocking Berkeley's gas ban could set a precedent for future cases.
