Breitbart: Meet Jack Smith: Prosecutor of Presidents, Husband of a Biden Donor
Special Counsel Jack Smith, known for charging political leaders, including former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, is now leading the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump. Former acting Director of National Security Richard Grenell claimed Smith's charges against Thaçi were politically motivated, and Grenell believes Trump's indictment is due to Smith's desire to keep his job. Smith is a graduate of Harvard Law who worked at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office before joining the US Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York and the Justice Department. He also served as a prosecutor in Europe and oversaw two prosecutions of American political figures before leading the Public Integrity Section. In 2020, Smith brought charges against Thaçi relating to alleged war crimes committed during the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo in the 1990s, but critics claimed the charges were politically motivated and dropped.
The Epoch Times: Trump Lawyer Warns Indictment Is a 'Turning Point' in US History
Former President Donald Trump was arraigned in a Miami court and pleaded not guilty to 37 counts of mishandling classified information. His lawyer, Alina Habba, argued that the indictment is a targeting prosecution of a political opponent that is akin to what happens in dictatorships. Habba also claimed that the indictment suggests a double standard, with Democrats like President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton never facing such federal scrutiny. The former president is also accused in a New York state court of falsifying business records related to payments made during the 2016 campaign. Trump denied any wrongdoing.
Breitbart: Gaetz Demands Answers: Trump Prosecutor Karen Gilbert Donated to Obama, Biden, Democrats
Lead prosecutor Karen E. Gilbert in Special Counsel Jack E. Smith’s case against Donald Trump for mishandling White House documents has been revealed to be a past campaign donor to Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and the Democratic National Committee, according to Federal Election Commission records. Representative Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has highlighted the issue and demanded answers in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland. Gilbert is a Department of Justice employee based in Florida and has donated over $2,000 to campaigns in the past.
The Blaze: The historic self-destruction of Vice and BuzzFeed with Gavin McInnes
Gavin McInnes questions if political incompetence and globalist schemes are to blame for our problems with James Poulos on "Zero Hour." McInnes believes that despite recent charges, Trump has a chance at taking back the presidency.
National Review: The Primary System Is Failing Americans
A majority of Americans want neither Biden nor Trump on the ballot for the next presidential election, but both parties are ignoring this and pushing forward with their unpopular candidates. Despite widespread disapproval and crises, primary voters remain loyal to these candidates. The primary system assumes that everyday voters are adept at choosing appealing candidates, but this trend suggests otherwise. This development in politics is similar to the trend in many corporations that focus on fringe ideology rather than profitability or pleasing customers. In both cases, the party or company seems to disdain the people they exist to serve and prefer to pursue their own goals, regardless of popularity.
Breitbart: Case Against Trump 'Irreparably Tainted' by Govt Misconduct: Parlatore
A former criminal defense attorney for Donald Trump, Timothy Parlatore, claims that government misconduct has made the investigation into Trump's alleged mishandling of classified documents irreparably tainted and could result in the case being thrown out before trial. Parlatore criticized the grand jury process and breaches of attorney-client privilege, suggesting that Trump's attorneys should "attack the conduct of the entire investigation." He argued that the decision to unseal communication notes between Trump and his attorney should be re-argued before the court and alleged wrongdoing by prosecutors during the grand jury process.
The Federalist: Time For Ron DeSantis To Do It Live
Ron DeSantis' poll numbers have been steadily declining since he announced his presidential bid, with no sign of a plan to change this. He should play to his strengths by displaying his mastery of issues and policy through crushing his corrupt critics in the media, as voters often fall in love with this tactic. Republican candidates must no longer try to make friends with the mainstream media, but declining to pursue a friendship is not the same thing as flat-out ignoring. DeSantis' lack of exposure, denial of media access, and failure to prove he can take on his enemies before Trump will blow out his tiny flame will all lead to his ultimate failure.
Daily Wire: Fed Prosecution Will Disrupt Other Trump Cases, NY Attorney General Predicts
Trump’s state-level cases are expected to be “adjourned” as his federal prosecution unfolds, according to New York Attorney General Letitia James. She predicts that scheduling of special counsel Jack Smith’s documents case will push back her fraud lawsuit against Trump, as well as the criminal cases brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Georgia’s Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. In other news, Trump is expected to appear in a Miami federal courtroom to be arraigned following a grand jury indictment that resulted from Smith’s investigation into his alleged handling of classified documents after leaving office.

Red State: Karine Jean-Pierre Flounders While Addressing the Topless Trans Incident at the White House
A transgender Tik-Toker was allowed to go topless during an adult-only pride event at the White House, leading to questions about what Joe Biden was promoting and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre struggling to explain the situation. While Jean-Pierre condemned the behavior as "unacceptable," it ultimately reflects the endorsement of "pride" celebrations and left-wing transgender orthodoxy by the administration. This promotion of radical views is grotesque and a sad testament to how far things have devolved in the US.
Daily Wire: More Americans Now Say Trans Athletes Should Compete On Team Of Biological Sex: Gallup Poll
More Americans now believe that trans-identifying athletes should compete on sports teams that match their biological sex, according to a Gallup poll. In 2021, 62% of Americans believed this, whereas now 69% say so. Less than a third (26%) of Americans believe that athletes should play on the team of their professed gender identity. The poll also found that 39% of Americans know someone who is trans-identifying.
The Blaze: Middle school students tear down Pride banners, chant 'USA are my pronouns' while wearing red, white, and blue
Students in a Massachusetts middle school who opposed Pride Month celebrations have been condemned by school administrators and a local non-profit group. The students disrupted the school’s “spirit day” event organized by the Spectrum Club, a student body for LGBTQ+ students and allies. Banners and signs were torn down and some students chanted a patriotic slogan. Some were “inappropriate” with rainbow stickers. The principal referred to the actions as “completely unacceptable” and “demeaning” to other students. The school board and a parent have demanded punishment for the students and a re-education program.

The Epoch Times: Chinese Donation to Trudeau Foundation ‘Bought No Influence,’ Says Former CEO
The former CEO of the Trudeau Foundation, Morris Rosenberg, testified before the House of Commons public accounts committee, downplaying the Chinese regime-backed $200,000 donation to the foundation in 2016. Rosenberg claimed that the donation could not have influenced the Canadian government. The foundation resurfaced in late February when the Globe and Mail reported that the Chinese regime made a donation to the foundation in a bid to influence Justin Trudeau.
Most of the money donated by Millennium Golden Eagle Canada was destined for the Université de Montréal to honour Pierre Elliot Trudeau's opening of relations with Beijing. Nevertheless, Conservative MPs raised concerns that some of the donors to the Trudeau Foundation had face time with the prime minister. The CCP-backed body, China Cultural Industry Association (CCIA), was also linked to the donation. The internal governance crisis of the foundation emerged when the Globe broke its story on the Chinese donation and efforts were made to return the donation. The donation had been returned, $140,000 in total, given the last tranche of the $200,000 was never provided.

Forbes: Free Americans From Social Security Without Conditions
The debate on Social Security is misguided; Americans of varying financial status already seek services beyond the program for retirement. People should be allowed to opt out for true freedom, and privatization is not the solution. The marketplace and equity performance prove private savings are the wise option regardless of government involvement. The focus should be on freedom rather than market performance with the reminder of how policy can negatively impact it. The coercion of Social Security takes away individual freedoms and it's unnecessary when available services prove capable of meeting individual needs.
The Epoch Times: States Sending Tax Rebates and Stimulus Checks
Some US states are providing tax rebates as stimulus payments or inflation relief, which generally don't have to be reported on 2022 tax returns. Alabama will distribute one-time tax rebate checks starting in fall of 2023, while California's middle-class tax refunds have already been issued. Colorado paid cash back to eligible filers and Georgia offered a tax credit if individuals had a tax liability for the 2021 tax year. Maine distributed winter energy relief payments, Montana residents can expect income tax and property tax rebates, and New Mexico began automatic one-time rebate checks of up to $1,000. Pennsylvania's Property Tax/Rent Rebate program has been distributing payments since August 2022, while South Carolina issued tax rebates up to $800 to eligible residents after the February 15 deadline. Virginia's one-time stimulus tax rebate up to $500 was paid to eligible filers who submitted 2021 Virginia income tax returns by November 1, 2022.

Daily Wire: 3,000-Year-Old Shipwreck To Be Pulled From Sea And ‘Studied In Detail’
A 1200 BC shipwreck off Croatia's coast, called the "Zambratija ship," will be removed from the sea in sections next month for detailed study by French and Croatian researchers. The hand-sewn boat measuring 39 feet in length, of which 23 feet is well-preserved, is noteworthy for its age, rare assembly technique, and waterproofing system. The ship is the oldest-known example of the pre-metal fasteners sewn-built ship technique in the Mediterranean. The interdisciplinary team from Centre Camille Jullian and the Archaeological Museum of Istria will create a 3D model of the ship and study the date of construction, as well as the fibers used in the boat's construction, during the restoration process.

The Federalist Papers: Killer Whales Coordinate to Attack Another Boat - Captain Gives Chilling Detail About What He Heard Before Ambush
A group of rogue killer whales in the Strait of Gibraltar have been attacking boats and perfecting their techniques, sinking at least three boats since 2020. The aggressive behavior has led some to believe that the adult whales are teaching the younger whales how to attack boats. The reason for the behavior is unknown, but some believe it could be a game or stem from negative experiences with boats. The potential escalation of such incidents raises the question of whether international shipping rules should be changed to accommodate sea creatures like whales.
