Breitbart: Wanted Killers Among 2 Million Illegal Aliens Freed into U.S. by Biden's DHS
Wanted Killers Among 2 Million Illegal Aliens Freed into U.S. by Biden's DHS
An illegal alien convicted of murder is one of more than two million border crossers released into the US since President Biden took office. The convicted criminal first entered the continent via the US-Mexico border in March 2023, was apprehended by border patrol agents, given “Notice to Appear” papers, and subsequently released into the population. In a similar case, another twice-deported illegal alien wanted for murder in his home country was recently deported for the third time from the US. Both are indicative of the “flaws in the vetting” process of the Biden administration, according to RJ Hauman, President of the National Immigration Center for Enforcement .

Chairman of the House Judiciary’s Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement, Rep. Tom McClintock, notes that more than two million border crossers and illegal aliens have been released into communities since early 2021. This is a population equivalent to the entirety of Nebraska and includes more than a million and a half “known gotaways” – additional illegal population the size of Hawaii. This influx has triggered widespread ramifications across the country, from flooding classrooms with non-English speakers to suppression of wages for US workers. Despite these challenges, sanctuary cities such as New York, Chicago, and states like California have continued to insist that they cannot cope with this influx .

Tut-Tutting Jill Biden Bemused by ‘Shocking’ Republican Support for Trump After Indictment
Jill Biden criticizes Trump supporters' loyalty to the former president despite his federal indictment, calling it "shocking." Trump, however, declares his innocence and vows to continue running for president in 2024.

Republican Rebels Reach Temporary Truce with McCarthy but Warn Boycott Could Resume
A group of Republican holdouts in the House have come to an agreement with Speaker Kevin McCarthy, ending their floor boycott for the time being. The holdouts had been frustrated over a debt ceiling hike agreement between McCarthy and President Joe Biden that passed despite opposition from about a third of Republicans. The group is seeking to limit spending further, to fiscal year 2022 levels. They also plan to renegotiate the power-sharing agreement that they established with McCarthy in January, in exchange for voting for him for speaker after a 15-ballot fight.

Andrew Bridgen MP, who joined the Reclaim Party in May, seeks to help fill the "chasm" between Parliament and the public.

Pro-Abortion PAC to Spend Millions to Boost Kamala Harris’s Public Image
Pro-abortion group EMILY's List plans to spend over 10 million dollars to support Vice President Kamala Harris during the 2024 election, due to growing recognition that she may play a significant role in what is likely to be a tough election. Republicans aim to use the prospect of a Harris presidency to hurt Joe Biden's chances of re-election. EMILY's List aims to "push back against the massive misinformation and disinformation that has been directed towards her since she's been elected." The pro-abortion group is at the beginning of planning its investment and will target certain types of voters on different platforms.

Vivek Ramaswamy Announces FOIA Request to Expose Merrick Garland's Communications
GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy files a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to obtain records relating to former US President Donald Trump's indictment. The request seeks "any records" held by the Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding Trump's indictment, including electronic communications with third parties. Ramaswamy stated that as every American deserves to know the facts, he would host a press conference to discuss the matter. Ramaswamy also promised to pardon Trump if elected president, explaining that Trump's indictment was "deeply politicized". Trump faces 37 charges related to the mishandling of classified documents, including 31 counts under an Espionage Act statute referring to the retaining of national defense information.

Former Obama AG Eric Holder is already scheming for a third Trump impeachment in the event of his re-election
Former Obama Attorney General Eric Holder suggested lawmakers should annul Trump's presidency even if he were to be elected again, despite the possibility of conviction. Holder argued a conviction should warrant impeachment and Trump's removal from office. Trump, who has refused to stand down even if convicted, is leading in the polls ahead of Biden. Trump stated, "I've put everything on the line for you, and I will never yield" in a speech given to Georgia's annual GOP convention. Holder has argued that a convicted felon serving as president of the United States is "simply absurd."

However, controversy broke out when the judge nominated by Trump to handle the case, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, was called upon to recuse herself over past rulings favoring Trump’s request for a special master. Cannon remains attached to the case despite calls for her recusal. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, calling it a "witch hunt" as he runs for the presidency. He is expected to be arraigned in Miami on Tuesday with Judge Jonathan Goodman handling bond matters.

Pro-BLM ice cream chain sues Seattle over ‘extensive property damage’ from BLM autonomous zone ‘CHOP’: Report
Seattle ice cream company, Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream, is suing the city for extensive property damage it suffered from the BLM zone "CHOP" in 2020. Protestors took over a "10-block area surrounding a Molly Moon’s location" resulting in the company suing the city for ignoring its constitutional rights because police chose to "abandon" the CHOP zone. The lawsuit claims that the city's failure to protect its residents from the protests subjected businesses and residents to extensive property damage, public safety dangers, and an inability to access their properties.

Molly Moon's Home Ice Cream is one of multiple parties suing Seattle for damages, danger, and death caused by CHOP in 2020. A father who lost his son to the violence also sued the city. Antonio Mays, Sr. said that the city was well aware of the violence in CHOP but had abandoned it "without a working plan to provide essential services." His 16-year-old son was fatally shot after he traveled there for what he thought was a "peaceful protest in support of the Black Lives Matter movement." In his suit, he accuses the city of "encouraged lawlessness to reign."

To Reduce Airline Ticket Prices, Expand Washington's Reagan Airport
The Direct Capital Access Act proposed by Reps. Hank Johnson and Burgess Owens would increase flights at Reagan National Airport, benefiting travelers and the region's economy. Current restrictions on daily flights are outdated, and the airport's modernization makes increasing flights a no-brainer. Opposition comes from United Airlines and American Airlines, which are more concerned with protecting their turf than allowing competition. The expansion plan is estimated to create over 1,000 jobs and generate up to $400 million in economic benefit to the capital region.

Spectator USA: Congress doesn’t like the PGA-LIV merger
Congress doesn’t like the PGA-LIV merger
Democratic senators are scrutinizing the PGA Tour and LIV Golf's merger due to concerns about foreign investment in American sports, particularly from Saudi Arabia. Congress is getting involved in whether the deal goes through, and a probe has been announced by Connecticut senator Richard Blumenthal as chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Regulatory issues for international deals and tax exemptions are also in question, but Blumenthal's powers as committee chair could be a major factor, potentially using subpoenas if they are refused documents and other evidence. Republican Ron Johnson has been positive about the deal, as has former President Donald Trump. The PGA Tour would operate the new for-profit venture while maintaining majority control, and Saudi PIF would act as a minority investor.

New poll reveals voters' thoughts on Kamala Harris if Biden can't finish second term
The majority of Democratic voters are comfortable with Kamala Harris becoming president if Joe Biden becomes unable to finish his term, according to a recent Suffolk University/USA Today poll. The poll shows strong support for the vice president among Democrats, despite her low approval ratings among all likely voters. Nikki Haley, a GOP presidential contender, has warned that Harris will become president if Biden wins reelection. However, Biden remains the frontrunner for the Democratic ticket, with 58% of respondents saying they would vote for him if the primary were held today.

Nancy Pelosi Leaves Something Important out of Tweet on Pulse Nightclub Shooting, Gets Community Noted
The 7th anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida was marked by former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi paying tribute to the victims and referring to it as an "act of hate." The mass shooting was perpetrated by Omar Mateen, who pledged allegiance to ISIS and reportedly did not know that Pulse was a gay nightclub. Pelosi faced backlash and a Community Note on Twitter for perpetuating a false narrative about Mateen's motivations being anti-LGBTQ. This is part of a pattern of immediately jumping to conclusions about LGBTQ-related crimes without knowing all the facts.

'Where do I sign up?' San Diego homeless woman says they’re ‘spoiled' with free stuff, phones
Marine Corp veteran, Kate Monroe, went to talk to as many of San Diego's homeless residents as possible to gain a better understanding of the city's homelessness crisis. She spoke with Mary, who believes she's spoiled by the free resources of food, clothing and phones available on the streets, but Monroe also heard countless stories of sexual assault, robberies and brutal beatings. She suggests separating the homelessness crisis by categories, with people who have just become homeless to be the easiest to put back into society. Monroe believes it's unfair how much money the government pours into the homelessness crisis.

Data Watchdog To Look Into Disinformation Units That Monitored COVID-19 Critics
The UK government is being questioned by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) about its use of disinformation units to monitor lockdown critics. The Cabinet Office received advice on "disinformation" gathering in 2021 from the ICO, which regulates the use of personal data. In January, the government confirmed that it monitored lockdown critics on social media platforms via its disinformation units, including Conservative MPs and journalists. The CDU's primary function is not to monitor harmful content to flag to social media platforms, according to the government. The government's other units, including the RRU, were involved in "tackling harmful narratives online" during the pandemic.

Starving the Russians Out: Ukraine Again Bombs 'Supply Artery' Railways
Ukrainian saboteurs continue to target Russian-held railways, most recently destroying a railway bridge in Yakymivka used to supply Crimea. The attacks are part of a campaign to isolate Crimea from resupply. Moscow has responded by installing CCTV cameras and using armoured trains to prevent further sabotage, but the attacks have continued. The railways are crucial to Russia's war plan, as the country relies heavily on rail freight to quickly move men, weapons, and supplies to occupied Ukraine.

Consumer Prices Up 4%, Core Inflation Still Running Hot
US consumer prices rose four percent YoY, the Labor Department said. Core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, was up 5.3 percent over 12 months. The figures were largely expected but show that the Federal Reserve is making little progress in controlling inflation. While inflation has fallen from its peak of 8.9 percent last June, it remains above the Fed's goal of two percent. The Fed uses the personal consumption expenditure price index, which is at 4.4 percent, for its target. The Fed will release a new summary of projections on Wednesday.

Taxpayers living and working outside the U.S. can also qualify for tax benefits but must also file their returns by June 15. Late payment penalties can be avoided by filing for an extension, but interest on late payments will still be charged.

The Epoch Times: China Has a Serious Youth Unemployment Problem
China Has a Serious Youth Unemployment Problem
China's economy is suffering due to the inability of graduates to find meaningful work. The urban youth unemployment rate in April rose above 20%, with one-quarter of recent university graduates in "underemployed" positions. Experts warn that this situation may threaten the economy's growth potential and the Chinese Communist Party's ruling mandate. China's planners stressed science and engineering courses in universities, leading to a large number of highly educated people without work. Experts suggest that Beijing could have avoided this problem by investing in small- and medium-sized businesses and allowing a more service-oriented economy rather than prioritizing state-owned enterprises.

Miami Archbishop: Biden’s Catholic Posturing ‘Gives All Us Bishops Heartburn’
Miami Archbishop Wenski criticizes President Joe Biden's "radical abortion stance" and says his habit of playing up his Catholicism gives "all us bishops heartburn." In contrast, Wenski praises Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for aligning with the Catholic Church's traditional teachings on marriage and school choice as well as advocating for religious freedom, a sore point for Catholics in Biden's policies. While the two politicians differ on some issues, Wenski says Biden makes a bigger deal of his Catholicism than DeSantis does. The Catholic Church has no official policy prescriptions on immigration, leaving much room for healthy debate and disagreement. However, it believes that prosperous nations should welcome foreigners in search of security and the means of livelihood. Immigrants are also obliged to respect the laws and assist in carrying civic burdens of the countries that receive them.

Rhode Island resident Joshua Nagel filed a complaint with the state health department alleging that his daughters were forcibly vaccinated by their pediatrician against his wishes. The Rhode Island Supreme Court granted Nagel's ex-wife unilateral authority to give their daughters the experimental jab, leading Nagel to file a complaint alleging that the pediatrician used "thuggish force" when administering the shots to his 5- and 8-year-old daughters. Nagel's opposition to the vaccine stems from its experimental nature, and the fact that his daughters have acquired immunity to the respiratory virus through prior infection.

They also hung a banner reading “Last Generation: No gas and no coal.” Last year Last Generation conducted several other protests across Europe, including one in Florence where members of the group glued their hands to a glass window protecting Sandro Botticelli’s painting “Spring.”
