Marco Rubio: U.S. Immigration Policy Is Driven by Wall Street
Sen. Marco Rubio argues that the federal government's migration policy is driven by business and economics, prioritizing the importation of cheap labor, including legal cheap labor. This has led to the exploitation of the immigration system, including the importation of illegal immigrants. There is growing public skepticism of the establishment's pro-migration policies, as these policies worsen Americans' problems, including homelessness, low wages, and spreading poverty. ( )

Did Gov DeSantis really flip flop on Trump’s SCOTUS picks?
Trump accuses DeSantis of flip-flopping on supporting Trump-appointed Supreme Court justices, but DeSantis never said he didn't support them. In fact, DeSantis said he respects them but views Justice Alito and Justice Thomas as the "gold standard" and models for his own justice picks. Trump's claim is unsubstantiated and DeSantis remains a supporter of Trump's Supreme Court nominees.

Front Page Magazine: First Big City Where a Dude Wins a Woman's Beauty Pageant
First Big City Where a Dude Wins a Woman's Beauty Pageant
Miss San Francisco 2023, Monroe Lace, has made history as the first transgender woman to win the pageant. Lace is the second man to win a women's beauty pageant in the United States, following Brían Nguyen, who was crowned Miss Greater Derry in 2022. Despite widespread criticism, Lace emphasized the importance of making a difference for young children regarding gender identity. Using the pageant platform, Lace visits elementary schools largely to read books and discuss gender identity with students. Critics accused organizers of Leftist virtue signaling, arguing that the pageant no longer focuses on recognizing attractive and accomplished women. The transgender frenzy promotes the gender-transition industry, creating vast profits for pharmaceutical corporations and gender-transition surgeons. The young people caught up in this trend experience horrific mutilating surgeries and lifetime hormonal dependence, while recruiting new clients to continue the cycle. Monroe Lace and CBS might highlight that “it wasn’t that long ago that Monroe wasn’t sure if her own story would have a happy ending;” in reality, it might be more fitting to remind them: “those who are oblivious of history are doomed to repeat it.”

Newsom: 'We Own' 'Disgraceful' Homeless Problem We Haven't Made Progress on, I've Only Had Four Years and Have Different 'Dynamics'
California Governor Gavin Newsom admits that his state has not made progress on reducing homelessness in the last two decades, and that high housing costs, problematic regulations, and local opposition to new construction are to blame. Newsom acknowledges that his tenure as governor cannot make up for the historic levels of homelessness under a Republican administration in 2005. Despite the differences in dynamics between California and Florida, which has a much smaller homeless population, Newsom takes ownership of the problem.

The Epoch Times: Rio Tinto Deepens Pact With World's Biggest Steelmaker
Rio Tinto Deepens Pact With World's Biggest Steelmaker
Rio Tinto and China Baowu have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop low-carbon processes suitable for low-to-medium grade iron ores that are responsible for the majority of global iron ore supply, producing more emissions when extracted. Lower-grade ores need to be blasted out of more rock and traditionally require extreme heat to make steel. The agreement will allow the companies to share expertise and research the development of feedstock suitable for lower-carbon steel production that consumers demand. In addition, the companies will jointly study opportunities to produce low-carbon iron and pellets in Western Australia, develop pelletisation technology for Australian-sourced ores, research, build and demonstrate a pilot-scale electric melter at a steel mill in China, and improve Baowu’s “HyCROF” technology which it says can largely mitigate blast furnace emissions.

'By No Means Unusual': Media Used To Treat Wildfires Like They Were a Fact of Life. Because They Are.
Wildfires in Canada have caused smoke to blanket the Northeast US, prompting media outlets to warn about the increased threat of wildfires and heatwaves posed by climate change. However, records show that wildfires have decreased in Canada over the past few decades and media hysteria about wildfires is now widespread, ignoring issues such as poorly managed land and reckless recreationalists that could be addressed more easily. Furthermore, the mental and physical health impacts of climate change, including depression and a decline in aerobatic fitness in children, have been widely reported.
