American Thinker: A trifecta of anti-Trump vitriol in The New York Times yesterday
David French, a columnist for the New York Times, believes that the indictment of former President Trump is right. However, he disregards the special protection and benefits given to former presidents according to US law. A trio of anti-Trump commentators, Norman Eisen, Andrew Weissman, and Joyce Vance, referred to the judge assigned to the indictment as a "rogue Florida district court judge" and pleaded for a verdict of "guilty as criminally charged."
The New York Times editorial board shared similar views to the trio, stating that former President Trump should never again be trusted with the nation's secrets. However, their true intent is to put him behind bars. It is now up to Republicans and individuals alike to disappoint the insurrectionists and avoid political self-destruction.
Fox News: Why California is worth fighting for
California is hurtling leftwards and the consequences are disastrous, with the state's visible chaos making news for scenes of public squalor and skyrocketing prices for housing, leaving families and businesses unable to electify their utilities and boost their livelihoods. The leftist monopoly in charge has led to dire consequences in many areas, including a high poverty rate and education and business climate ranked 50th in the country. California's issues are not just a California problem, they will ultimately hurt all of America, making it important for everyone to get engaged in finding solutions to improve the state.

The Tony Awards on CBS turn into an LGBT rally, with actors promoting an Outstanding Theatre Education award and making jokes about Gov. Ron DeSantis as a grand wizard of the KKK. Michael Arden, who directed a revival of the musical Parade, implies that some people are less deserving of justice, while Alex Newell and J. Harrison Ghee become the first non-binary actors to win Tonys. Playwright Suzan-Lori Parks suggests that the world doesn't like the existence of black people. There is no "equal time" rule on CBS.

Fox News: Children in England won’t be regularly provided puberty blockers at gender clinics, health service says
The National Health Service in England will no longer offer puberty-blocking drugs to children at gender identity clinics without additional research. With the exception of clinical studies, doctors are not allowed to routinely commission puberty-suppressing hormones for children and adolescents. However, exceptional circumstances will be considered for children under the age of 18. Some argue that denying minors medical treatment is ‘genocide.'

The Federalist: By Tackling Imaginary Racism, Biden Is Making Schools Less Safe
The Biden administration's new policies on disciplinary rates for minority students will exacerbate classroom violence and chaos according to Dr. Will Flanders of the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty. While racial discrimination should be addressed, the evidence suggests that disciplinary disparities stem from negative behaviors and concentrated underperformance from students in high-poverty neighborhoods. Federal intervention should be left to parents, teachers, and principals who can best address conditions in their local schools. The focus should be on creating policies that make students and teachers feel safe rather than catering to woke ideology.
National Review: The Corner: What Should We Do about ‘Stranded Credits’?
Schools often withhold transcripts from students who have unpaid educational debts, resulting in "stranded credits" that prevent students from continuing their education or obtaining jobs. 95% of institutions practice this tactic, creating obstacles for students to pay off debts.
While some worry that students who cannot obtain transcripts will not be able to pay off their debts, others believe that students may take advantage of receiving transcripts without paying their balances. This raises concerns about balancing the need for students to continue education and get jobs with the responsibility of paying off educational debts.

Forbes: Beyond James Harden, Which Free Agents Should The Sixers Re-Sign?
The Philadelphia 76ers face several free-agent decisions, including James Harden and four others. If Harden leaves, the Sixers will have plenty of room to re-sign their other free agents, but if he stays, they may be limited by the luxury-tax threshold. Backup center Paul Reed may be a priority after averaging career highs and impressing as Embiid's backup, while Jalen McDaniels may struggle to fetch the full non-taxpayer mid-level exception in free agency, and Georges Niang could be a luxury if they keep all three of Harris, McDaniels, and P.J. Tucker. Shake Milton may be the least likely to return.
Fox News: Adam Hadwin's electric celebration and subsequent tackle by security draws hilarious reaction from his wife
Adam Hadwin was tackled by a security guard when he tried to celebrate Nick Taylor's win at the Canadian Open by spraying champagne all over him. Taylor had sunk a 72-foot eagle putt to win the tournament. The incident was caught on camera and went viral, with Hadwin's wife providing amusing commentary on social media.
Forbes: Why Has Caleb Martin Struggled During The NBA Finals?
Caleb Martin's efficiency was remarkable in the series against the Celtics, but his shooting has since fallen off, despite his high 3-point percentage. He's failed to take more shots, specifically 3-pointers against the Denver Nuggets, and his time on the court has been limited since Kevin Love got the nod in the starting lineup. Despite his size being an issue against the Nuggets, Martin's quickness and length provides switchability that the Heat need in order to give them the best chance to win.

The Great Lakes Fisherman: Barometric Pressure and Why Fishing is Better Before a Storm
Weather changes affect fishing activity. Heavy winds stirred up by approaching storms cause feeding frenzies in the water surface as insects are blown into the water. With decreased barometric pressure, fish feed more actively, especially predatory fish like Bass and Trout. Once the storm passes, fish activity slows down as pressure rises and winds die down.
