National Review: The Supreme Court Isn’t as Divided as You Think
The Supreme Court Isn’t as Divided as You Think
Despite media hype of a deeply divided US Supreme Court, nearly half of the cases decided each term are unanimous. While the Court has ruled unanimously for trends such as limits on government power and quiet title actions against the federal government, justices appointed by the same president often do not see eye to eye. For example, Trump appointees Gorsuch and Kavanaugh did not have an interchangeable voting record.

Liberty Nation: Gun Control and Prohibition: A Cautionary Tale
Gun Control and Prohibition: A Cautionary Tale
California Governor Gavin Newsom proposes a 28th Amendment for "commonsense" gun control in order to end the "gun violence epidemic" in the US. In 1917, Congress enacted the Prohibition Amendment, banning the production and consumption of alcoholic beverages. The temperance movement, which thought they were fighting for the soul of the nation, used fear and shame to convince others to give up their freedom. Prohibition ended up producing crime, violence, and organized crime, and a new infringement of individual liberties, The National Firearms Act of 1934. This attack on freedom shows how good intentions can turn into a loss of liberty that lingers for generations.

National Review: The Corner: Evil and Its Resisters
The Corner: Evil and Its Resisters
Sharansky, a Soviet dissident and survivor of the Gulag, speaks out against repression and advocates for freedom. Pianist Polina Osetinskaya also speaks out against war in Russia. Vladimir Kara-Murza, a Russian dissident, needs to be kept alive like late Senator McCain did for him. Ukrainians fight against Russia's aggression and cruelty, even in the face of devastating natural disasters. War reporters risk everything to deliver the vital news. The truth will come out eventually, but for now, the imminent danger must be addressed.

Forbes: ‘No Comparison In World History’: Ukraine’s Comms Security Chief Shares Takes On Drone War
‘No Comparison In World History’: Ukraine’s Comms Security Chief Shares Takes On Drone War
The director of Ukraine’s State Special Communications Service, Brigadier General Yurii Shchyhol, shared his thoughts on the usefulness of different types of drones, including Mavic and Matrice models that are crucial for the country's military divisions, as well as First-Person View (FPV) drones that have become important for efficient reconnaissance to lower the risks of Ukrainian soldiers losing their lives. He also discussed the different drones produced in Ukraine, including Kazhan, Vampir, Pegasus, and Cetus, and noted that drone production in Ukraine will become a massive market that should give a much-needed push to the development of the industry and the Ukrainian economy. The brigadier general observed that it was impossible to name three or four “most useful” drones, as they all have their uses, and explained that drone interception systems are still being developed due to the challenge of predicting and intercepting a drone, which requires elements of AI and analytics that are being tested. Anti-drone rifles made in Ukraine and the Baltic states have proven most effective for destroying enemy UAVs.

The Federalist: Dems Doubling Down On Biden Bribery Lies Looks Like Leak Prep
Dems Doubling Down On Biden Bribery Lies Looks Like Leak Prep
House Democrats continue to falsely accuse the FBI of mishandling a confidential human source (CHS) who reported alleged bribery involving the Ukrainian owner of Burisma and then Vice-President Joe Biden. Despite statements from former Attorney General William Barr that the investigation was not closed, Democrats persist in their claims, which may suggest an attempt to selectively leak documents in an effort to cover up political favoritism and interference in the 2020 election. A leaked document showing the investigation was closed would be deceptive, as Barr has stated multiple times that the Pittsburgh office merely reviewed the evidence before sending it to Delaware for further investigation.
