The Epoch Times: Orange County Asks Judge to Extend Ban on NYC Relocation of Illegal Immigrants
Orange County Asks Judge to Extend Ban on NYC Relocation of Illegal Immigrants
Orange County requested an injunction to prevent New York City from relocating illegal immigrants to hotels in the county during their legal battle; the city argued that it has the right to send individuals to hotels outside its boundary and asked the lawsuit be dismissed. The hotels and the county are also defendants. The county argued that the arrangement mirrored a homeless shelter, lacked local infrastructure, and harmed residents; the city said it needed to free up space for the increasing number of illegal immigrants, following the pandemic-era policy's expiration allowed for preventative expulsion of illegal immigrants. Multiple lawsuits have been filed since May 11, with other counties issuing similar executive orders to prohibit hotels from housing illegal immigrants from New York City.

Front Page Magazine: Trump is Facing ONE HUNDRED YEARS in Prison
Trump is Facing ONE HUNDRED YEARS in Prison
The indictment against Trump could see him sentenced to 100 years in prison if convicted of all charges, including willful retention of national defense information, obstructing justice, withholding a document or record, corruptly concealing a document, and making false statements. Leftist regimes have a history of vengeful hounding of dissidents, and Trump's conviction and lengthy prison term could terrorize the population into submission. The double standard created by the DOJ's ignoring of the rules they are enforcing on Trump in regard to Hillary and Old Joe makes it likely that the full force of the government could be brought against MAGA Republicans who resist the regime.

Front Page Magazine: Trump Will Win
Trump Will Win
Democrats have spent seven years trying to erase Donald Trump from politics, calling him a "white supremacist" and a "bigot". They have violated FISA laws, spied on his campaign and concocted fake dossiers to portray him as a traitor. The Democrats even attacked the patriotic themes of his presidency and pursued legislative means to make him an "un-person". The Biden administration is committing offenses by indicting Trump on 37 felony charges, yet the government refuses to prosecute a Biden family influence-peddling operation receiving millions from adversarial governments. The ongoing destruction of the country can only be stopped by defeating the rogue Democrat Party in the next election.

Michael McCaul calls Whelan innocent and condemns Russia's practice. Gershkovich is the first journalist detained and charged on Russian soil since the Cold War. The State Department considers both detentions wrongful and calls for immediate release. Western governments, news orgs, and human rights groups have also demanded release.

Alex Newman and Peter Rykowski discuss the lessons Americans can learn from Switzerland about preserving liberty, prosperity, peace, and independence in the face of Deep State attacks on sovereignty and freedom. America's Founding Fathers admired Switzerland's form of government and learned valuable lessons on how to establish and govern a free society. The Swiss have kept themselves free and avoided entangling alliances, and this could serve Americans well once again .

Alan Dershowitz reveals that Trump is having trouble assembling a legal team and explains why…
Alan Dershowitz reveals that an extremist group, Project 65, is making it difficult for Trump to assemble a legal team by threatening to file Bar charges against anyone who represents him. Dershowitz denounces the actions, labeling them as a McCarthy-like effort to stop anyone from defending Trump. Dershowitz also believes that the indictment against Trump is stronger than anticipated, particularly in the evidence of his waiving a confidential document and calling it secret. Despite the discovery of evidence, Dershowitz maintains that the case is a targeted attempt to get Trump and the ethics of this targeting are questionable.

Mark Cuban claims companies like Target, Bud Light going 'woke' is just 'good business'
Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks, believes that companies embracing "woke" ideology is good for business, despite Anheuser-Busch and Target Corporation losing billions of dollars since promoting LGBTQ+ agendas. Experts and insiders suggest that the politics-invoked downturn caused this; Cuban firmly disagrees, stating that almost all of the top-market cap companies in the US are "woke." Cuban believes that companies promoting these ideas are showing they care about their customers, an American trait that reflects who the country is. Despite Cuban's opinion, other commentators and business owners have warned that these companies' embrace of "woke" politics has been a significant mistake.

Forbes: House Ways And Means Committee Introduces Potential Tax Extender Bill
House Ways And Means Committee Introduces Potential Tax Extender Bill
The House has introduced the Build It In America Act to address business taxpayer concerns around rising interest expenses and deduction limitations on research and experimental expenditures that could lead to increased cash federal income tax payments. The Act allows taxpayers to currently deduct research and experimental expenditures that are paid or incurred in tax years beginning after December 31, 2021, and before January 1, 2026. It also broadens the base of the interest expense limitation calculation by allowing depreciation and amortization to be added back before applying the 30% limitation for taxable years before January 1, 2026, and proposes that 100% bonus depreciation would remain for qualified property placed in service before January 1, 2026.

While businesses may be happy with these changes, the government faces uncharted territory regarding the deficit and revenue raisers must be identified to cover the costs of such extensions. Democrats push to expand the child tax credit while the Build It In America Act repeals certain energy tax credits, which could be a contentious issue. The Act only addresses provisions scheduled to sunset in 2022 and 2023, but more of the TCJA provisions expire in 2026, which could require significant federal income tax reform. The future looks uncertain, but for now, businesses can take advantage of the proposed changes in the Act.
