Daily Wire: Alleged Biden Bribery Scheme: Comer Says FBI Has More Informant Docs, Plans To See Them
GOP House Oversight Chairman James Comer expects the FBI to show him additional informant reports alleging a $5 million bribery scheme between President Biden (then vice president) and a foreign national. Comer announced that he was nixing a planned vote to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena after the bureau agreed to let all members of his committee see the unclassified file dated back to the summer of 2020. The oversight panel has said its investigation into the informant’s claims may inform legislative reforms to strengthen disclosure requirements, but Democrats and the White House have dismissed the inquiry as being politically motivated.
Republicans are raising concerns about potential influence peddling linked to multiple countries, including Ukraine and Romania. They have pointed to suspicious transactions involving millions of dollars funneled through banks and shell companies linked to members of Biden’s family as evidence of corruption. Hunter Biden’s financial affairs, among other issues, are under investigation by U.S. Attorney David Weiss in Delaware. The FBI has said revealing the unverified reporting by a confidential human source on this issue could place their physical safety at risk.
Washington Free Beacon: DeSantis Campaign Mocks Buttigieg for Needing ‘Months’ To Repair Collapsed Philly Bridge
DeSantis's campaign mocked Democrats for taking months to repair a collapsed interstate in Pennsylvania after overseeing the repair of a Florida bridge in just three days. Governor Josh Shapiro announced repairs could "take some number of months" following a truck carrying petroleum fire on the highway. The DeSantis team referred to the collapse of the bridge connecting Pine Island to mainland Florida in September.
Newsbusters: Washington Examiner’s ‘Liberal Media Scream’ With the MRC’s Assessment
Liberal Media Scream: Chuck Todd portrays himself as a journalistic martyr in announcing that he will step down as host of Meet the Press later this year, and says, “Being a real political journalist isn’t about building a brand. It's about reporting what’s happening and explaining why it’s happening and letting the public absorb the facts.” Brent Baker (MRC) rating: THREE out of FIVE SCREAMS.
The Federalist Papers: Was it a Setup? Trump Was 1st POTUS in 40 Years Who Feds Didn't Help Archive Classified Docs, Attorneys Say
Former President Donald Trump's attorneys allege that the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) set him up by declining to provide archival assistance to his transition team, which is the first incidence of this to happen in 40 years. NARA usually aids presidents in the transition, but Timothy C. Parlatore, former Trump lawyer, argued in a letter to House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rep. Mike Turner of Ohio that NARA's cooperation with the outgoing Trump administration differed starkly from what the agency had done with every president since Jimmy Carter. Parlatore claimed that NARA has become overtly political and declined to provide archival assistance to President Trump's transition team.
Red State: Bombshell: Grassley Says Foreign National Who Allegedly Paid off Biden in Bribery Scheme Has Recordings of Hunter and Joe
Evidence has emerged that the foreign national who allegedly paid off Joe and Hunter Biden in exchange for actions kept audio recordings of their conversations as an "insurance policy." Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed that the Burisma executive kept 17 recordings, including 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden, and two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then Vice President Joe Biden. There are now more questions regarding why the FBI omitted this information and whether they were trying to hide the smoking gun on the Bidens.
New information from a form allegedly shows that Joe Biden, then Vice-President, may have been involved in Burisma appointing his son to their board. The FBI showed the form to members of the House Oversight Committee after months of stalling, only after the Committee threatened to bring contempt charges against FBI Director Christopher Wray if they did not comply with the subpoena for the form. These revelations may reveal even more about Joe Biden's influence in Ukraine, and if the allegations of bribery are true, it could be the smoking gun on Joe Biden that the liberal media and Democrats have been trying to downplay.
Washington Free Beacon: Here's What We Know About Alex Soros, Progressive Scion Taking Over His Father's Political Empire
Democratic megadonor George Soros has ceded control of his political empire to his son, Alexander Soros . The younger Soros says he is "more political" than his father, who is the Democratic Party’s biggest donor. Alex Soros has given tens of millions of dollars to Democrats over the years. He just took over as chairman of the board of Open Society Foundations, which pours hundreds of millions of dollars annually into progressive causes in the United States and around the world, and plans to use Open Society’s $25 billion war chest to fund the expansion of abortion and voting rights across the country.
Alex Soros has also had access to the White House, having visited at least 17 times during Biden’s tenure, according to visitor logs. Soros reportedly hired New York City club promoter Adam Spoont to recruit models to attend Soros’s house parties. Before his ascent to the top of his father’s political empire, Alex Soros was better known for his semi-playboy lifestyle.
Flag And Cross: Biden Admin Forced to Cancel Oil Lease Ban Celebration When Furious Navajo Citizens Strike Back
Navajo Nation protesters blockaded the entrance to a celebratory event in New Mexico, disrupting plans by the Biden administration to mark their 20-year oil drilling ban. The ban was enacted on June 2 and restricts leasing oil, gas, and minerals for 20-years. Navajo opposition to the drilling ban is based on the financial impact on low-income Navajos, who rely on revenue from leasing their land to oil drillers. The ban could see Navajos lose $194 million over 20 years. A group of protestors created a blockade on their land in protest, specifically inconveniencing Interior Secretary Deb Haaland and head of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bryan Newland.
Newsbusters: Man With ‘the Facts’: CNN Has McCabe Defend Clinton’s E-Mail Server
CNN brought on Andrew McCabe to defend Hillary Clinton for keeping classified information on her personal email server, despite McCabe's history of being fired for lying to investigators about leaking to the press. McCabe downplayed Clinton's possession of classified material on her server and argued that they were not hard copies of documents but rather communications of sensitive topics. He also omitted the fact that Clinton's hard drive and cellphone were not properly disposed of. CNN's sponsorship from Dove and LeafFilter made the appearance of McCabe possible.
The Federalist Papers: City Councilwoman Who Shared Anti-Trump Post Gets Crushing News
Denver City Council member Candi CdeBaca, who proposed that only white people be taxed because they are racists, has lost her bid for re-election. She was defeated by her opponent in the Denver election, losing by over 3,500 votes. Despite losing by a wide margin, CdeBaca refused to concede on Election Night, blaming “the faceless Denver power brokers and big-money interests” for her defeat. However, the truth is her mouth and actions got her fired by the voters.
Washington Free Beacon: WATCH: CNN Analyst Says It's 'Preposterous' How Long DOJ Has Taken To Investigate Hunter Biden
Hunter Biden's five-year-long investigation by the Justice Department is "preposterous," according to CNN's senior legal analyst. He is under investigation for purchasing a firearm while using drugs, which is a federal offense, and is also at the center of a probe by the Internal Revenue Service over his taxes. Two whistleblowers have come forward from the IRS to say that Biden is receiving special treatment.

Red State: Conservatives Are Winning the Culture War Over Transgender Ideology, and the Numbers Will Surprise You
A new Gallup poll shows that attitudes towards transgender athletes are shifting back towards sanity, with 69% of Americans believing that they should only compete on teams that match their birth gender. This represents a seven percent rise from 2021 and even a four percent increase in the belief that transitioning one’s gender is morally wrong. While a sizable minority still doesn’t agree, this is a huge victory for those who believe that transgender ideology is damaging to everyone involved, especially children. It’s a reminder that the culture wars are just as important as other issues like the economy and foreign policy, as losing the culture means losing everything.

National Review: The Corner: Frivolous Trump Argument No. 2: It Was ‘Absolutely Ridiculous’ for Biden DOJ’s Special Counsel to Charge Trump with Espionage
Senator Lindsey Graham criticized the use of the term "espionage" in the indictment against former President Donald Trump, arguing that it is not accurate. The charges against Trump invoke one of the offenses first codified into federal law by the passage of the Espionage Act of 1917, but not all of the crimes proscribed in the act constitute espionage. In fact, Section 793 of the federal criminal code, which Trump is charged with violating, is titled "Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information" and does not even mention espionage in its text or its title. The offenses Trump is charged with concern unauthorized possession and retention of national-defense information rather than espionage.
Fox News: GOP Indiana lawmaker charged with DWI, leaving scene of accident
Indiana state legislator Jim Lucas has been charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident, after state police claimed he had driven his pickup truck into a highway guardrail and driven away from the scene. Major front-end damage and three flat tires were found on Lucas' truck, which had been parked behind a Seymour carpet store when Indiana state troopers caught up with him. Although police had conducted a portable breath test device which recorded Lucas' blood-alcohol level at 0.097%, over Indiana's legal limit to drive of 0.08%, the results from a subsequent blood test in hospital have not yet been revealed.

A widow demands answers after police allegedly failed to respond to a reported kidnapping and two men were later found fatally shot. Talija found Qualin's dead body slumped over and another man, David Karels, unconscious in the vehicle. The incident may have been a murder/suicide, but Talija and her attorney allege that immediate action from police could have saved Qualin's life.
Fox News: San Francisco man sentenced for terrorizing women after cases initially dismissed
"Serial stalker" and San Francisco resident Bill Gene Hobbs has been sentenced to two-and-a-half years in country jail and three years in state prison for stalking and harassing women, according to District Attorney Brooke Jenkins. Hobbs had previously been accused of following, groping, and chasing women; now convicted of felony false imprisonment, eight counts of misdemeanor battery, sexual battery, and assault. With six prior cases against him dismissed "in the interest of the public," the sentence is seen as one step closer “to achieving our goal of public safety,” Jenkins said.
One victim, Karina S., shared her testimony in court and described how Hobbs followed her while she jogged through Golden Gate Park, completely changing her life, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. After being interrupted by Hobbs who said it "was not an assault," she further described how she has since had to get a guard dog and pepper spray. Other women similarly came forward against Hobbs for stalking, harassment, and assault. The case shows the importance of reporting illegal conduct to the police, no matter how unlikely catching a perpetrator may seem to a particular victim at the time, said Assistant District Attorney Brittney Delgado.
