Fox News: Grassley: Burisma executive who allegedly paid Biden has audio recordings of conversations with Joe, Hunter
Sen. Chuck Grassley revealed that a Burisma executive kept 17 audio recordings of conversations with Joe and Hunter Biden as an "insurance policy", according to an FBI form briefed to congressional lawmakers. The FD-1023 form allegedly references a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over US policy decisions. The executive allegedly possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between himself and Biden, and was involved in bringing Biden's son Hunter onto the board of Burisma. The FBI brought the document to Capitol Hill last week after a congressional subpoena.
Breitbart: Nolte: Disgraced Washington Post Loses Publisher Fred Ryan
Washington Post publisher Fred Ryan is leaving after a decade of financial troubles. He will lead the Center on Public Civility at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. PJ Media: We'll Save You the Time: The Trump Records Indictment Is Banana Republic BS, Too
Donald Trump has been charged with possessing secret documents that some prosecutors now claim didn't belong to him, while also overcharging him with 37 counts. Kash Patel, former federal prosecutor, former defense attorney, and former Department of Defense official, believed that prosecutors overcharged the former president. Furthermore, prosecutors had two different legal theories in the one indictment, hoping to convince a judge that they can pick one from the jurisprudential potluck table. Trump had declassified the documents the feds wanted the day before he left office, which were expected to be used as evidence to support Trump’s civil lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and others. Trump may have had a beef with the National Archives, but Barack Obama wasn’t raided for keeping documents .
Fox News: McCarthy rips CNN for hiring James Clapper, Andrew McCabe: ‘Are you prepared to defend your network?’
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy accuses CNN of "weaponizing" the news when asked about Donald Trump's indictment over his handling of classified documents. McCarthy points out that CNN employs two former intelligence officials, Andrew McCabe and James Clapper, who Republicans have accused of abusing their positions. The CNN reporter asks what steps the House will take to defund the FBI and the Department of Justice, but McCarthy ignores the question and calls for CNN to remove McCabe and Clapper from its network.
Newsbusters: Speaker McCarthy NUKES CNN for Hiring Liars Clapper, McCabe to Bash Trump
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy criticized CNN for employing Andrew McCabe and James Clapper, both of whom lied to the American public and were part of the operation to influence the 2020 election. McCarthy accused CNN of hypocrisy for cheering on the indictment of President Trump while continuing to employ serial liars and Deep State mainstays. He also highlighted the concern that equal justice is not being upheld and that the justice system has been weaponized.
The Blaze: Native American protesters outraged over oil leasing ban form road blockade that shuts down Biden admin's event
Navajo citizens protested a new oil leasing ban by forming a road blockade that shut down a Biden administration event. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland's ban on oil, gas, and mineral-leasing within 10 miles of Chaco Canyon in New Mexico will negatively impact low-income Navajo residents who depend financially on land leases. Protesters estimated the Navajo members will lose $194 million as a result of the ban.
Breitbart: Comer to Review Two More FBI Informant Docs About Bidens' Business
Top House Oversight Committee members will review two more FBI informant documents related to the Bidens’ business. The FBI holds at least two more FD-1023 forms referenced in the FBI informant document reviewed by the Committee Thursday. The FBI will allow the review this week. The original FBI informant file revealed the alleged existence of evidence showing President Joe Biden received $5 million from Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
The House Oversight Committee has subpoenaed two more banks to compel information on the Bidens’ Ukrainian business deals. Before Friday, the Committee subpoenaed at least four banks and one individual. In 2015, Burisma was under suspicion of money laundering and public corruption. The prosecutor investigating the case was terminated due to pressure applied by then-Vice President Joe Biden who, in exchange, allegedly received $5 million through separate bank accounts.

Forbes: Manchin Slams Treasury For Effort To End-Run Around Congress
West Virginia Democratic Senator Joe Manchin criticized the Treasury Department's attempt to circumvent the Inflation Reduction Act requiring domestic content in electric vehicle battery components to promote the manufacturing of electric vehicles. Sen. Manchin believes the Treasury department is not making a good faith effort to interpret the law as it was written in service of its own separate agenda. He points out three key ways in which Treasury’s proposed rulemaking deviates from or conflicts with the clear language in the IRA.
Sen. Joe Manchin has repeatedly expressed his dissatisfaction with the Biden Administration’s regulatory implementation of the IRA since he made the decision to become the deciding vote enabling the law’s passage. Manchin's latest criticism is that Treasury officials ignored President Joe Biden’s commitment to promote electric vehicle battery manufacturing supply chains needed to supply the growing demand for electric vehicles. The senator accuses Treasury officials of pursuing their own agenda over the interests of the people.

The Imaginative Conservative: The Priority of Peace & the Problem of Power
s good or not is determined by the object to which it is directed. For the will is good when it is directed to a good object and bad when directed to a bad object.” [22] Therefore, virtue formation requires the object of the act to be properly directed. This requires more than simply commanding the right act, but rather attending carefully to the circumstances of each individual and fostering the internal disposition to be able to correctly judge the object of each act. The father does this through gentle guidance, allowing the son to gradually take on more responsibility as he becomes capable, and correcting gently when the son makes a mistake. This process of virtue formation through the guidance of a father is also the model for political formation. The prince serves as a father to the city, guiding it toward virtuous actions through careful attention to the object of the acts of his subjects and gentle guidance toward the correct judgment of those objects. With this model in mind, we can turn to the collapse of liberal political thought and the postmodern world.

The president endorsed “mutilation of children” while criticizing anti-LGBTQ laws in the US, despite the global political situation. America's president, Joseph Biden, has misplaced his priorities with a "totally pathetic" approach to his responsibilities.

Fox News: Newsom admits California has 'not made progress' on homeless crisis when pressed by Hannity: 'We own this'
California Governor Gavin Newsom admits lack of progress in curbing state's homeless crisis, citing high housing costs, regulatory issues, and lack of support from locals as contributing factors. Newsom's Housing First policy prioritizes "low barrier" access to housing for those living on the streets, but critics argue for fresh solutions. PJ Media: Iran: We Aren’t Making Nukes, but ‘No One’ Could ‘Stop Us’ From Doing So
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei claims his country is not developing nuclear weapons, but if it were, "no one would have been able to stop us." Khamenei says Iran's nuclear development isn't about nuclear weapons and claims that "mass destruction" violates "Islamic principles." However, Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism, and Khamenei has used his Twitter account to call for the destruction of Israel and endorse terrorism. The Iranian government lies regularly, and we cannot trust its assurances that it isn't working on nuclear weapons. America should be concerned about Iran, especially since it is one of Khamenei's favorite punching bags.
Foreign Policy: China’s Big Gas Bet Raises Questions About Complicity With Russia
Chinese purchases of liquefied natural gas (LNG) ahead of Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine raise questions about its involvement. Almost a dozen entities, including state-owned companies CNOOC, Sinopec, and Sinochem, bought over 91% of worldwide LNG purchased under term deals from September 2021 through February 2022, according to data from more than 600 discrete purchase transactions. PRC companies continued to acquire LNG, totaling over twice their usual purchases annually, accounting for 57% of worldwide term LNG purchases through April 2022. An equivalent of 60% of gas from the Nord Stream 1 pipeline was absorbed, reducing Europe’s access to LNG and supporting suspicions of China’s involvement in the invasion.

The report does not claim that Covid-19 is a biological weapon, but that the research was part of a Chinese effort to develop them.

The Epoch Times: Disruptions at West Coast Ports Continue Amid Labor Negotiations
Dockworkers belonging to the International Longshoremen and Warehouse Union (ILWU) have continued to “disrupt operations” at West Coast ports, according to a statement by the Pacific Maritime Association (PMA), which represents the shipping industry in the region. The ILWU and PMA have been in talks over a new contract since May 2022, while the union’s collective-bargaining agreement expired last July. The ILWU represents 22,000 workers at 29 ports on the West Coast, who would be covered by the collective-bargaining agreement if a deal were struck with the PMA.
As the situation at the ports worsens, major commercial and industry organizations are now asking the White House to intervene for the sake of the wider US economy. The Commerce Chamber believes that any serious work stoppage at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach would likely cost the US economy nearly half a billion dollars a day. Clark said that the West Coast ports represent an economic value of 12.5% of US GDP and are responsible for moving over 50% of all US imports.
The Epoch Times: US Budget Deficit Soars in May After Jump in Spending, Drop in Revenues

The Congressional Budget Office predicts the national debt will continue to grow. The deficit is now becoming a higher priority for the American public than it was a year ago.
