Newsbusters: Scarborough's Latest MAGA Conspiracy Theory Shot Down by His Leftist Experts
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough questions the appointment of Judge Aileen Cannon for Donald Trump's trial on federal criminal charges relating to his handling of classified documents and suggests it was not just luck of the draw that she was chosen. However, both expert guests, former US Attorney Chuck Rosenberg and Palm Beach County Attorney Dave Aronberg, refute Scarborough's claims and argue that her selection was due to a random assignment process, with Aronberg calling it "bad luck." Aronberg further demonstrates his anti-Trump leanings by rejecting Scarborough's conspiracy theory.
Scarborough's expert guests refute his claims that Judge Aileen Cannon's appointment for Trump's trial was due to something nefarious and suggest it was just a case of bad luck. Former US Attorney Chuck Rosenberg questions if she is just a bad judge and argues there is a big difference between a bad judge and an unprincipled one. Palm Beach County Attorney Dave Aronberg flatly rejects Scarborough's conspiracy theories and corrects his factual errors, stating that Cannon was selected from a pool of only four judges, not 15 as claimed by Scarborough, and that it was a random assignment. Aronberg's rejection further shows his strong opposition to Trump, adding objectivity to his opinion.
The Right Scoop: Governor DeSantis despicably attacked at the Tony Awards last night [VIDEO]
Denée Benton, host of the Tony Awards, referred to Governor Ron DeSantis as the "grand wizard" of Florida, receiving cheers from the crowd. This was in response to DeSantis blocking an AP course on American history. Twitter users see this as a left-wing smear tactic.
Fox News: Republicans take action to overturn Biden's power plant crackdown
Sen. Shelley Capito and Rep. Carol Miller are fighting against the potential shut down of West Virginia power plants due to new regulations proposed by the Biden administration. These regulations would target mainly coal- and natural gas-fired power plants. The Republican lawmakers introduced the Protect Our Power Plants Act to challenge the plan and prevent the EPA from implementing these regulations. They believe this will protect American energy production and prevent further damage to West Virginia's energy sector.
National Review: The Corner: Big-Name Democrats’ Curious Way of ‘Helping’ Joe Biden
Democratic Party figures are supporting Joe Biden's reelection, but they also want to promote themselves. California governor Gavin Newsom is leading an effort to amend the Constitution and limit the Second Amendment, using his Campaign for Democracy PAC to build a pro-gun-control e-mail list. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has launched a federal political action committee called "Fight Like Hell PAC" and wants to use it to decide which Democrats to support. Both governors are hoping to increase their national reputation and fundraising, and possibly position themselves for a future national campaign.
Breitbart: Great Reset: Dutch Govt Launches Farmer Buyout Scheme
The Dutch government launched a farmer buyout programme impacting 3,000 privately-owned farms emitting high levels of nitrogen. It will offer dairy, pig, and poultry farmers a payout of 100% of their farm’s value to shut down, and farmers not compliant with the EU’s Natura 2000 scheme will receive a 120% buyout. The scheme could result in upwards of 10,000 farms shutting down forever, potentially impacting the country’s status as Europe’s largest meat exporter and one of the world’s largest dairy exporters.
There has been widespread rejection of the government’s green agenda, spurring tractor protests across the country and the Farmer–Citizen Movement sweeping the Senate and local elections earlier this year. Some farmers plan to hold on to their property despite the programme, expressing concern over the lack of explanation of options to reduce emissions. Farmers fear that the political elites will only be satisfied “when the last farmer is gone”.
Red State: WATCH: Jordan Peterson Tweets Full ‘Trans Ideology' Video Banned by YouTube as ‘Hate Speech'

Fox News: Trump's court appearance triggers ramped-up law enforcement presence in Miami
Law enforcement agencies are increasing their presence in Miami as former President Donald Trump prepares to appear in court. Miami-Dade police stand ready to assist in any security effort needed, with fencing and barricades already in place around the courthouse. Law enforcement groups are monitoring for protest plans at both the courthouse and Trump's residence at his Mar-a-Lago club. The situation is similar to Trump's indictment in New York City, which saw days of largely peaceful protests. Trump's Florida indictment includes 37 counts of various crimes, and former allies have pointed to the seriousness of the allegations.

The Epoch Times: Female-Only Spa Forced to Accept 'Transgender Women' Reveals Next Move
The female-only spa, Olympus Spa, located in Washington state, plans to fight back against a ruling that obligates it to accept men who identify as women. The decision was made after one customer, who identifies as a woman, filed a complaint saying that the spa was inconsistent with Washington's Law Against Discrimination as it refused to attend "transgender women" with male genitalia. Nevertheless, the spa's owners along with its workers and patrons sued in response, stating that the decision infringed on their constitutional rights, including a breach of their religious beliefs. The ruling judge objected to plaintiffs' claims of free association and free speech, nevertheless was willing to let the plaintiffs amend their lawsuit.
Townhall: The Ungrateful Left
Despite the monumental achievements of the US and the sacrifices made by the "greatest generation," many on the left refuse to acknowledge any positive qualities of the country. They claim the US is racist, nativist, intolerant, and built on slave labor, but fail to offer up any better options. However, the truth is that America is the most tolerant country with unrivaled opportunities for success, and many of those who complain would never have it better anywhere else. The US is not perfect, but it was good enough for those who fought and died for it.

The allegations have prompted other lawmakers to urge the Biden administration to take action to prevent a serious threat to national security.
The Epoch Times: White House Says No Plans to Invite Canada to AUKUS, a Concern for Canada's Military
Canada will not be invited to join the AUKUS security pact between the US, Australia, and the UK, focused on defence technology cooperation, with “pillar one” centered on helping Australia develop nuclear-powered submarines, while “pillar two” includes collaboration on other technologies. Although AUKUS is not an alliance, with the US having no specific plans to expand it beyond its current concentration on submarines, Vice-Admiral Bob Auchterlonie has expressed concerns over Canada not being included in the pact, particularly given its potential use of advanced technology like AI, machine learning, and quantum. The pact’s focus, amidst tensions with China in the Indo-Pacific, highlights the need for increased security and diplomatic communications.

Daily Wire: Idaho Murder Suspect Asks For More Time To Decide Whether To Offer Alibi
A man accused of killing four University of Idaho students has asked for more time to decide whether to offer an alibi, stating that it would be premature at this stage. The defense argues that the case is still ongoing and voluminous, so more time is needed to consider evidentiary rules. The prosecution had called for alibi notices on May 23. If the defense's requested additional time is not granted, it has called for a hearing to present oral argument, evidence, and testimonies. The suspect is also asking the court to exclude cameras during pre-trial hearings and the trial itself, arguing that the coverage has become material for social media accounts to espouse opinions and describe him using phrases such as "cold iciness."

PJ Media: Hope for America: Oakland Athletics Fans Strike Back Against the Elites
Oakland A's fans plan a "Reverse Boycott" to show they still exist amid rumors that the terrible major league baseball team may move out of town due to years of mismanagement by the owners. The team's history of developing good teams and then letting players go elsewhere instead of paying them competitive salaries led to the A's now fielding an essentially minor-league team with a terrible record. Despite the assumption that the A's couldn't play the big-money game that other teams did because Oakland was a small market, the city could draw in as much or more than the successful San Francisco Giants. The Reverse Boycott is becoming a movement to fight against the elites who care only for profit and not for the plight of ordinary Americans.

His love for nature led him to become a conservationist and he secured nearly 230 million acres of land for federal protection, including national parks and monuments. Roosevelt believed in "fair chase" hunting, where respect for wildlife and appreciation for nature were key. His love for the outdoors cultivated the man and the President he became.

With AI technology becoming increasingly advanced and interactive, the author argues that it's time for governments to invest in developing AI models in the public sector, guided by technical expertise and public input. The author suggests that the United States should take inspiration from China and Europe's long-term planning and leadership on regulation and investment in AI.
