The Right Scoop: How does the major news networks cover Biden’s fall? You won’t be surprised….
Media outlets are covering President Biden's fall at the Air Force graduation ceremony, with ABC and CBS claiming Republicans are "pouncing" on it. However, some are criticizing the media for their double standards, as they previously made controversies out of small things President Trump did. NBC's Kristen Welker acknowledged that the incident was "not a helpful image for the White House."
The Blaze: Conservatives launch 'Jews Against Soros' to repudiate the notion that opposing the leftist megadonor is anti-Semitic
Jews Against Soros, a new coalition led by Newsweek senior editor-at-large Josh Hammer and Missouri attorney general candidate Will Scharf, aims to push back against false claims that opposing leftist megadonor George Soros is antisemitic. The group is made up of Jews who are opposed to Soros's left-wing agenda and are advocating for other Jews to stand up against him. They argue that being anti-leftist is not the same as being antisemitic and it's time for Jews all over America to stand up against Soros.
Red State: Heads Roll at Twitter After The Daily Wire Is Censored, but Elon Musk Stirs New Controversy
Twitter's Head of Trust and Safety, Ella Irwin, has resigned after labelling tweets by Matt Walsh as violating Twitter’s “hateful conduct” policies, resulting in a warning label being placed on the posts. It's unclear whether she resigned or was fired, but Elon Musk's involvement may have played a role. While Irwin's resignation is a welcome development, censorship of The Daily Wire's film "What Is a Woman" continues, with comments on the stream closed and it being disallowed from being shared. Musk noted that an update is being pushed out that will fix the problem tomorrow, but The Daily Wire’s posts that contain alleged “misgendering” will be throttled and disconnected from any advertisers.
The New American: Congress Won't Drain the Swamp. It's Up to the States.
Conservatives are continually falling into a state of disillusionment by falling for politicians who claim to be saviors but turn out to be members of the establishment. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is the latest to fall from grace after supporting McCarthy's debt ceiling deal with Democrats. The federal government is the swamp, and politicians at the federal level will not drain it, so the states must take on this task by reasserting their states' rights and using nullification.
Newsbusters: ABC Whines Republicans Are POUNCING on Biden Falling on His Face
President Joe Biden tripped over a sandbag at West Point, but the White House reassured that he was fine after the fall. However, the media scolded Republicans for "pouncing" on Biden's fall and reinforcing voters' distrust in his capability to handle his job because of his age. CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell moaned that his fall had already become a talking point for Republicans running for the White House, while NBC's Kristen Welker expressed concerns that this was not a helpful image for the White House.

New Hampshire state representative James Spillane withdrew his endorsement of former President Donald Trump and pledged his support for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at a rally in Manchester, NH. Spillane cited Trump's recent attacks on former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany as the reason for the switch. He said, "It’s become evident... that there’s no loyalty in [Trump]” and “He can’t be trusted to stay loyal to the people who supported him in the past.” Meanwhile, DeSantis remained focused on his message, touting his legislative victories in Florida and speaking out against “Faucism.” The rally drew some Trump supporters who expressed disappointment in DeSantis’s decision to run against the former president.
One-time Trump endorser James Spillane withdrew his endorsement and announced his support for Ron DeSantis, citing the former president's recent criticism of Kayleigh McEnany. National Review: CUNY Law Alumni Condemn School’s ‘Toxic, Intolerant, and Antisemitic Environment’
Alumni from the inaugural graduating class of 1986 at City University of New York (CUNY) Law School wrote a letter accusing the faculty and administration of creating a toxic and antisemitic environment at the school. Specifically, the letter criticised the school’s focus on political agendas and the approval of resolutions supporting the Palestinian boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) movement. The letter was also critical of Fatima Mousa Mohammed’s commencement address which accused Israel of indiscriminate violence against Palestinians and celebrated "antisemitic hate" by encouraging violence against Jews and advocating the destruction of Israel. Breitbart: UBalt Professor Claims New ‘Little Mermaid’ Cast Not Diverse Enough
University of Baltimore professor, Dwight Watkins, questioned the validity of Hollywood’s diversity effort in the live-action Little Mermaid film. While the cast was diverse, Watkins noted the prince’s complexion and questioned the point of having a Black Little Mermaid in a center of a white world. He also suggests that the film’s message implied that “Black lives don’t matter." Watkins concluded that it is not strange to question why the first Black Ariel had a European (white) father and her aunt Ursula is white and sets her sights on a white prince. While admitting that his daughter enjoyed the film, he imagined a better experience where all the white Disney characters could be viewed as black with the help of special eyewear.

He also denounced Florida for making hormone therapy and sex change surgery illegal for minors, stating that no child wakes up one morning, deciding they want to become a man or a woman. He deemed this "cruel" and "close to sinful".

The Epoch Times: A Decision That Will Reverberate for Decades to Come
Australia's most decorated living soldier, Corporal Ben Roberts-Smith VC, has allegedly committed war crimes while serving in Afghanistan, according to a court decision. Roberts-Smith was recently found guilty of defamation for suing various media outlets that published the allegations, but Judge Anthony Besanko's findings could undo all of his achievements and strip him of his hero status. If the allegations are proven true, this case would emphasize that unethical and criminal acts related to war can never be allowed to occur, and it would also tarnish Australia's military reputation.

The Epoch Times: Sen. Rand Paul Blocking Biden Nominees Until COVID-19 Documents Released
Sen. Rand Paul is blocking President Biden's nominees and legislation until the release of U.S. government documents linking risky U.S.-funded research projects to COVID-19 origins. Paul has been requesting these documents for the past three years following concerns over gain-of-function experiments. He also notes that COVID-19’s unusually high transmissibility in humans may have been caused by a 2018 research proposal to insert a furin cleavage into a bat coronavirus.
Furthermore, a report by Sen. Joni Ernst reveals that since 2017, Chinese organizations have received $490 million in U.S. government research grants and contracts, with the majority of the funding flowing through subcontracts and subgrants. Paul alleges that some of these Chinese entities that have received U.S. funding are military research organizations.

Breitbart: Report: Cuba Using Dog Mauling, Grandma Beatings, Poison to Torture Political Prisoners
A study by human rights organization Prisoners Defenders found that the Cuban communist regime tortures 100 percent of its political prisoners through various methods including beatings, rape, starvation, and sleep deprivation. The report analyzed the prevalence of 15 methods of torture and is based on questionnaires and conversations with 181 political prisoners. The vast majority were not activists before their arrest, and the report highlights the lack of due process in Cuba. Cuban authorities regularly subject political prisoners and their families to abuse, malnutrition, and sickness. The study identified 15 forms of torture and mistreatment, including deprivation of communication with family and relatives, threats to safety and that of loved ones, and humiliation and verbal abuse. The Castro regime has faced consistent defiance from its people, and the report notes that documented cases of torture in Cuba are likely rare relative to the total number of incidents of state torture.
