The American Spectator: Journalist Smears Anti-Transgender Women as ‘Nazis,’ J.K. Rowling Protests
Former BuzzFeed LGBTQ editor Patrick Strudwick accused anti-transgender rally attendees of being neo-Nazis in Melbourne. J.K. Rowling defended attendees on Twitter and claimed a resemblance between trans activists and Nazis. A reporter for the Daily Mail stated the rally was gatecrashed by neo-Nazis who performed the Hitler salute. Melbourne police have not charged any of the neo-Nazis associated with the protest.
Spectator USA: Tucker Carlson is the new Voldemort
Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch has reportedly banned all mentions of former host Tucker Carlson on its networks, causing author Chadwick Moore to be blacklisted from the network after announcing his new book – Tucker. Moore made the announcement on Twitter, writing: “I’m not allowed on Fox anymore, because I wrote a book about Tucker Carlson. I’ve been banned from the network.” Moore then accused Dominion Voting Systems of getting Carlson fired from Fox, saying that “a small group of people that have a controlling interest in Dominion have managed to silence what is arguably the most important and influential conservative voice in the country, potentially until after the next presidential election.” Fox has denied the accusations.
The Federalist: Media Hack Interrupts DeSantis Talking to Voter
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was accused by an Associated Press reporter of avoiding voters during a campaign stop in New Hampshire, despite him interacting with voters at the event. When pressed by the reporter, DeSantis refuted the allegation by pointing out that people were approaching him to talk about whatever they wanted. Twitter users also posted footage of the governor answering questions from voters to further disprove the accusation. The media’s attempt to push a “DeSantis is avoiding voters” narrative failed, resulting in headlines portraying DeSantis as lashing out at a reporter. However, the governor’s hostility toward the corporate media is seen by many as a winning strategy, as Americans are increasingly aware of the media’s disinformation tactics.
Breitbart: Comer: FBI's Wray Facing Contempt of Congress Citation Unless He Produces Biden Docs by Next Week
Republican Rep. James Comer has warned that FBI Director Christopher Wray could face a contempt citation from Congress for stonewalling its probe into the finances of the Biden family. Comer, who chairs the House Oversight Committee, said the FBI was acting as if it was immune from oversight, and cited the Durham report's criticisms of the agency. He added that Congress' job was to hold the federal government to account. His committee is seeking an unclassified document from the FBI, which he said could contain evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden and his family.

Washington Free Beacon: Portland Considers Ban on Homeless Camps To Address 'Humanitarian Catastrophe'
Portland, Ore., is considering banning homeless people from camping in public spaces during the daytime. Democratic mayor Ted Wheeler has suggested the proposal, which would require camp clearances between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., and apply to public parks and areas around schools and daycares. Violators would be given three warnings before facing a $100 fine or imprisonment. The proposal comes as the city continues to struggle with rising numbers of homeless people and a subsequent humanitarian crisis.

The Blaze: MacIntyre: Lessons from the battle against woke capital
Conservatives are taking action against companies promoting radical gender ideology onto children during Pride Month, resulting in profit losses for companies like Bud Light and Target. However, in order to achieve lasting changes, it is important for conservatives to understand the legal requirements that make corporations implement woke doctrine, even if they do not personally agree with it. Corporations are required by law to adhere to woke ideology, making it difficult for conservatives to stop the woke revolution from consuming every American institution.
Breitbart: ABC's Hostin: The Right Is Attack the LGBTQ+ Community 'Because They Have No Real Platform'
ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin said on The View that the right is attacking the LGBTQ+ community because they have no real platform. Hostin said only 1.6% of Americans are transgender or nonbinary, so why do they choose to attack this group? Co-hosts agreed that attacking the LGBTQ+ community is a political cudgel used as a culture war, but they will not win as they are out of touch and out of line with this country.

Breitbart: Macron: I Should Have Listened to Eastern Europe on Russian Danger
Macron admits he failed to heed warnings about Russian aggression in Eastern Europe before the Ukraine war. Speaking at a security conference in Slovakia, he acknowledged that he and other Western politicians missed the chance to listen to those in the East. Macron also backtracked on comments in 2019 that NATO had experienced “brain death” and now views it as a vital asset. This declaration supports Biden’s efforts to expand the military alliance in Europe at Russia’s expense.

The Epoch Times: Canada Sanctions 'Russian Collaborators' and Political Party in Moldova
Canada has sanctioned seven people and a political party in Moldova for their alleged ties to Russia, targeting the Shor Party, oligarchs, businesspeople, and politicians. These sanctions come after Moldovan President Maia Sandu's visit to Ottawa last month, during which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Canada would sanction people in Moldova for connections to Russia. Among the individuals sanctioned are politicians accused of laundering Russian money and Vladimir Plahotniuc, a former politician accused of fraud and manipulating law enforcement to target opponents. Moldova is among the poorest countries in Europe and has a region along its border with Ukraine called Transnistria that has claimed independence and been occupied by Russian troops since 1992.
National Review: House CCP Committee Launches Probe of University’s Hypersonic-Research Contract
Alfred University is under investigation by the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party over its Pentagon contract for hypersonic weapons research and its simultaneous partnership with a Chinese military-linked university. The university’s Confucius Institute and partnership with the China University of Geosciences are at the center of the controversy, seen as a danger to U.S. research security and potentially used to build Chinese hard power weapons. The Pentagon could have used a waiver in the 2021 law that prohibits contracts to universities with Confucius Institutes to award the contract, which could be a focus in this year's annual defense-policy bill.
Washington Free Beacon: Pentagon Grant to U.S. University That Feeds China Military Research Comes Under Congressional Microscope
Alfred University is being investigated by the House Select Committee on China over its partnership with China's University of Geosciences in Wuhan. The Chinese institution conducts classified military research for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), raising concerns over safeguarding sensitive military research from foreign adversaries. The Department of Defense recently awarded Alfred University a $13.5m grant for hypersonic missile research, which is viewed as a threat to US national interests. Congressional investigators are examining American universities that maintain ties with China while working on Pentagon projects, with Stanford University also under scrutiny.
The House Select Committee on China has requested that the university provide them with a trove of internal communications related to the hypersonic missile research project and Alfred University's ties to Chinese entities. The research grant is of particular concern due to its focus on hypersonic missiles, an advanced military technology in which China has invested heavily. The investigation marks the committee's drive to protect sensitive research from being obtained by China's espionage operations, which often target US universities involved in sensitive military projects. The Pentagon must also disclose its efforts to stop China from stealing sensitive research contracted to American schools.
The Economist: Europe makes a show of unity with Ukraine and other neighbours
Europe shows unity and support for Ukraine and other neighbors at the second summit of the European Political Community in Moldova, just miles from the Ukrainian border. French President Emmanuel Macron, who proposed the EPC, marks a shift in French policy towards EU enlargement and a more hawkish stance towards Russia. Discussions at the summit centered on European security and Ukraine, with discussions on future security guarantees for Ukraine underway. The EU is working on a longer-term financing commitment for Ukraine, and France will host a meeting of defense ministers to discuss air defenses and "deep-strike" capability. The summit is a reminder that Europe is broader than the axis between Paris and Berlin, and France and Germany must find common ground to ensure the summit adds up to more than symbolism.
Ukraine receives political backing for NATO membership, and France calls for Ukraine to be given a "path to NATO membership." France has offered to hold a dialogue on the French nuclear deterrent. The summit about EU enlargement will have repercussions for the future shape of Europe. Discussions at the summit centered on European security and Ukraine, with discussions about long-term financing commitments for Ukraine underway. Meanwhile, Poland's new panel to hunt Russian agents could be misused.

Tucker Hamilton, the Chief of AI Test and Operations for the US Air Force. Hamilton was speaking at a Royal Aeronautical Society defence conference where he also cautioned against over-reliance on AI and warned of its potential hazards, stating that the system could be easily tricked or deceived. Townhall: Looking Upwards, Rather Than Left or Right, for That Which Unites Us
Congressman Jim Banks introduced legislation to make classical architecture the preferred style for new federal buildings, similar to President Trump's Executive Order from December 2020. The bill defines classical architecture as a variety of styles used in historic federal buildings such as the U.S. Capitol and Jefferson Memorial. The majority of Americans, regardless of party, race, or class, prefer traditional over modern architectural designs. The bill requires new federal buildings to consider public opinion and aim to "command respect from the general public" by creating timeless visual expressions of American virtues.
The American Spectator: Notre Dame Goes All-In on Pride
The University of Notre Dame issued a tweet for Pride Month, which pushed the envelope on its previous stance in welcoming all LGBTQ people, by stating “We celebrate all LGBTQ+ identities”. The tweet coincides with the university acknowledging Pride Month on its website and officially recognizing an LGBTQ alumni group. Notre Dame has been moving closer to explicit support on LGBTQ issues for several years, with student resident assistants wearing rainbow ally pins and putting signs on their doors, and students being asked at orientation sessions to state their pronouns. The LGBTQ community has succeeded in garnering the support of historically religious institutions, and Notre Dame’s tweet shows how such support is now part of mainstream American society .

The Epoch Times: Website Teaches Women and Minors How to Get Around Laws Restricting Abortion
Pro-abortion activists are using the internet to coach women on how to avoid new state laws restricting access to abortion. A website called Abortion Finder provides a guide on getting to states that allow the practice, with resources to instruct women on how to get abortions as late as 40 weeks in their pregnancy. Critics call the website “radical” and “disgusting” and accuse it of encouraging late-term abortions. The website also offers information on how children 15 and younger can hide getting an abortion from their parents.
A survey of 226 post-abortion women, published in the May 2023 issue of the Cureus Journal of Medical Science, suggested that only 33 percent of women wanted an abortion, while 43 percent of women accepted getting an abortion, but felt doing so was inconsistent with their values. An additional 24 percent said they didn’t want an abortion or were coerced into getting one. 60 percent of women surveyed said they would have preferred to have a child instead of an abortion, indicating the presence of the “abortion culture” pressuring women into unwanted procedures. Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade in June 2022 has barely reduced overall abortion numbers, with abortions nationwide dropping only 7 percent since its end.
Daily Wire: U.S. Birth Rate In Decline Again As Post-COVID Rebound Subsides
US birth rates slightly declined from 2021 to 2022 despite a small uptick during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a CDC provisional report. Global fertility rates have dropped by 50% over the past 70 years, with the US having a fertility rate of 1.8, still slightly below the global average of 2.4. The decline is not unique to the US, with fertility rates significantly worse in many developed countries. Many conservatives claim this is due to a loss of religious and cultural values, calling for a return to traditional family structures.
The Epoch Times: Left-Wing Documentary Explores Medical Ethics of 'Gender-Affirming Care'
A new documentary, "Affirmation Generation," highlights the harm caused by promoting transgender ideology, especially in children. Featuring interviews with medical experts, psychologists and individuals who have detransitioned, the film examines the pain and consequences resulting from the transgender movement, including the significant health issues caused by cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers. Many of those seeking gender reassignment suffer from mental issues such as depression, body dysmorphia and eating disorders, making them vulnerable and leading to choices they may later regret. The film argues that the transgender movement has co-opted the gay rights movement, and warns of the societal pressure to medicalize children’s gender identity.

Ontario renews funding for rural and northern hospitals to boost emergency room staffing over the summer, but confirms that the program will end after this year. Health Minister Sylvia Jones has stated that the program prevented nearly 1,500 temporary ER closures last summer.
