White House Lashes out over Effort to Hold FBI in Contempt of Congress
FBI Director Christopher Wray faces contempt of Congress charges after refusing to divulge an unclassified, subpoenaed document detailing an alleged money-for-policy deal between Joe Biden and a foreign national. House Oversight Chair James Comer confirmed the file's existence and threatened Wray with contempt, which caused White House spokesman Ian Sams to denounce the move as a "silly charade." Democrats have expressed frustration with Comer's probe into the Biden family's business, which appears to have uncovered evidence of influence peddling. The FBI will face contempt proceedings if it fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena.

The American Mind: ‘Red-Pill’ Dating Content Is Toxic
‘Red-Pill’ Dating Content Is Toxic
The Whatever podcast delves into the private lives of young people, with click-bait aimed at slut-shaming young women with large body counts. The male hosts, while harshly criticizing women, fail to take a critical look at their own distorted sexuality and dating ethos. The guys in the manosphere follow a sexual double standard that is hypocritical and perverted. Their "boys will be boys" worldview wouldn't fly with the Fathers of the West. The podcast features good conversations and debates, but the way in which they're having these conversations is toxic and may not be worth engaging.

Daily Wire: Defense Dept Demands Air Force Base Cancel ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Show, Citing Policy Violation Using Federal Funds
Defense Dept Demands Air Force Base Cancel ‘Family Friendly’ Drag Show, Citing Policy Violation Using Federal Funds
Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas cancelled a family-friendly drag show scheduled for Pride Month citing Pentagon policy that prohibits using federal funds for hosting such events on military property. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Gen. Mark Milley had ordered the show to be cancelled or relocated off-site. While Air Force officials initially approved the event, a spokeswoman later stated that the DoD would not host drag events at U.S. military installations and facilities, citing certain criteria that organizations using DoD facilities and equipment need to meet, as set out by Joint Ethics Regulation. The cancelation is part of broader efforts to review drag shows on military bases.

Louisiana Lawmakers Look to Expand Alligator Hunting Amid Soaring Populations
Louisiana Representative Chad Brown has put forward a House Concurrent Resolution that will increase the number of commercial hunting tags for alligators. The legislation, HCR 132, has also proposed reinventing alligator bonus tags and increasing recreational alligator hunting opportunities in a bid to control the population of Bayou State's alligators. The measure passed the House Natural Resources Committee with no opposition, and despite increases in tag allotments over the years, gator populations have continued to proliferate, causing problems for hunters and anglers alike, with nets and traps being destroyed, and duck hunters having to avoid certain areas.

National Review: The Corner: A Good Day for Business at the Supreme Court
The Corner: A Good Day for Business at the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court made consequential decisions in three cases. The Court strongly sided with a business that sued a union whose employees caused destruction to their property during a strike. In the second case, the Court rejected an expansive rule regarding tracing and adhered to the rule most lower courts accepted, which is a defense for companies sued over public offerings of stock.
