Fox News: When you see 'made in China,' put it down: Rep. Mike Waltz
When you see 'made in China,' put it down: Rep. Mike Waltz
GOP Rep. Michael Waltz is warning Americans about China's growing aggression towards the United States and urging them to recognize that China is taking advantage of the US all day long at the will of the Biden administration. The Biden administration confirmed that China is working to grow its spying efforts in Cuba, deeming it an "ongoing issue." Waltz says that China is using every element of power, including espionage, to replace the US as a global leader. He is calling for Americans to pull supply chains back, arm allies, and fully fund the military to counter China's efforts.

Waltz highlights that China's spying in Cuba can collect sensitive military information from some of the US's most important military bases. He questions why the administration is flip-flopping around on this issue, suggesting that they are desperate for a meeting with China and willing to make concessions. Meanwhile, the CCP continues to take advantage of the US. Waltz is warning that the US is in a new Cold War with China and needs to mobilize the American people to counter China's aggression.

Forbes: What Happened In 1971? It’s a Question Everyone Should Ask
What Happened In 1971? It’s a Question Everyone Should Ask
1971 saw President Nixon sever the dollar's link to gold, explicitly devaluing the currency. This resulted in an inflationary shock and skyrocketing prices for goods and services, including oil. Investment in hard assets increased as a result, rather than in stocks and bonds, slowing productivity growth. This devaluation raised the cost of wealth creation, as knowledge is created through investment in "dry holes."

Fox News: Biden VA nominee in hot seat over alleged 'failure to protect' veterans' private information
Biden VA nominee in hot seat over alleged 'failure to protect' veterans' private information
Two watchdog groups are calling for a thorough vetting of President Biden’s nominee for the deputy secretary position at the Department of Veterans Affairs due to her previous authority over the VA’s Integrated Enterprise Workflow Solution (VIEWS) system, which left veterans’ personal information vulnerable. Tanya Bradsher, the VA chief of staff, supervised VIEWS, which raised concerns after the Office of Special Counsel asked the department to investigate the system for whistleblower complaints, which has yet to be resolved. The watchdog groups have sent a letter to Senate Veterans Affairs Chairman Jon Tester and Ranking Member Jerry Moran, stating their concerns.

Senator Charles Grassley has also requested answers about Bradsher, who has been a public affairs official for the White House National Security Counsel. During her confirmation hearing, Bradsher did not receive questions about the VIEWS system, but did make reference to electronic health records, for which she would be responsible if confirmed. Two days before the hearing, Peter C. Rizzo, a former VA program manager, signed a statement complaining about "unconscionable mishandling" of the data in the VIEWS system, with “thousands of authorized VIEWS users able to access the system without logging in ever again after their initial VIEWS log-in."
