The Epoch Times: California’s Suburban Coastal Communities Might Vanish Soon Due to State Policies: Huntington Beach City Attorney
Huntington Beach has filed a lawsuit against the state of California over its aggressive housing policies, saying that it has been mandated to zone for 13,368 units of housing under RHNA, which is the largest allocation in the state for cities of the same size and population. Of the 13,000 units, more than 8,000 must be considered "affordable" for lower-income individuals. Huntington Beach officials argue that this mandate could lead to a 50% increase in housing units in the city and could result in planning for as many as 40,000 units overall. They also challenge the state's methodology for determining these numbers. Other cities are watching the outcome of this lawsuit and expressing support.
Huntington Beach officials are pushing back against the state's aggressive housing policies, which mandates that the city must zone for 13,368 units of housing under RHNA. The city argues that this mandate could lead to a 50% increase in housing units and could result in planning for as many as 40,000 units overall. They also challenge the state's methodology for determining these numbers and have filed a lawsuit against the state indicating a possible constitutional violation. Supporters of the lawsuit include other cities in the state that have concerns over the state's aggressive housing policies.

He stressed that it should be a future that "creates prosperity, not poverty," promotes freedom and liberty, and confronts enemies on all fronts. Further, he noted that he is frustrated by the erosion of trust in America's institutions, such as the press and justice system, as these are core institutions that must have people's trust.

Flag And Cross: Teacher Threatens Kids After They Reject Woke Video She's Trying to Get Them to Watch
A teacher at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California threatened students with punishment for reacting negatively to LGBT propaganda in class. The video of the incident went viral, with students audibly groaning when the LGBT rainbow flag was shown on the projector. While it is unlikely the students wanted to learn in class this late in the school year, they don’t want to be indoctrinated either. The core issues on gender, sexuality, love, and relationships are topics of discussion between a parent, child and God. Federal state employees are not a part of that equation.
