Red State: Dershowitz Slams Trump Indictment as Unconstitutional Targeting by Department of Justice
Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz and former Acting U.S. Attorney General Matthew Whitaker criticized the Department of Justice's indictment of Donald Trump, highlighting aggressive prosecution, selective targeting, and the Espionage Act's application as issues. Speaking on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Dershowitz argued that the Department of Justice was attempting to pin pre-existing offenses on Trump, ignoring similar crimes committed by others. Whitaker highlighted the Presidential Records Act and the Espionage Act as two key legal issues that the courts would have to decide.

The Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing has accused YouTube of "violations" against his company's shows that breach the video platform's commitment to open debate. Accounts associated with The Daily Wire have received more than 200 violations in recent months, mainly for commentary on transgender issues. Penalties include demonetisation, suspensions and strikes, with Boreing warning that three strikes in 90 days leads to account deletion. Boreing has suggested YouTube is "too beholden to other powers" for unfettered debate, while pledging The Daily Wire's commitment to winning the fight over free speech.
Daily Wire: ‘Slob,’ ‘Gutless Pig’: Enraged Trump Fumes At Bill Barr After Ex-AG Brands Indictment ‘Damning’

Barr stated that Trump is "toast" if even half of the indictment's claims are true, and called presenting Trump as a victim of a witch hunt "ridiculous." Trump responded by calling Barr a "lazy Attorney General who was weak & totally ineffective" and a "low life" who is sitting down and "bloviates." Trump also accused Barr of hating him for firing him and being afraid of the Radical Left.
The Right Scoop: Alan Dershowitz says Trump’s indictment clearly a case of ‘targeting’
Alan Dershowitz believes the indictment of former President Trump is a case of targeting by the DOJ, with the aim of pinning some offense on him. He argues that the recorded conversation of Trump admitting he did not declassify a classified document is damning evidence against the former president. Dershowitz also believes Trump is fortunate the case will be tried in Palm Beach County as he may get a sympathetic jury and has a good judge assigned to the case.

Forbes: ‘Seven Kings Must Die’ Is A Disappointing, Superfluous Ending To ‘The Last Kingdom’
"Seven Kings Must Die" is a rushed and unnecessary sequel to "The Last Kingdom" that fails to tie up any loose ends and does a massive disservice to its characters. It feels like an entire season condensed into just under two hours and suffers from convoluted plot twists, bad pacing, and an unsatisfying ending. The villains are not properly established and the character changes create narrative whiplash. Fans of the show should skip this disappointing film.
The Epoch Times: Federal Judge Hears Challenges to Oregon’s New Gun Laws
Oregon's voter-approved gun-control measure, Ballot Measure 14, underwent a trial to determine its constitutionality, as heard by a US District Court Judge, after being halted by an injunction by a state judge. The measure includes a ban on magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds and a permit requirement to purchase guns. The plaintiffs of the case, including gun store owners, gun rights advocacy groups, and elected sheriffs, argued that the measure would end legal firearm sales in the state and violate citizens' rights under the Second Amendment. The defense contended that high-capacity magazines posed a risk to public safety and were not protected by the Second Amendment.
