Former DNI John Ratcliffe Accuses Special Counsel Team of Improper Actions in Effort to Get Trump
Former DNI John Ratcliffe called the indictment of Donald Trump a "travesty" and accused members of Jack Smith's special counsel team of "committing crimes to prosecute crimes." Ratcliffe alleged that a team member had threatened a lawyer representing Trump's personal valet and that Joe Biden's possession of classified documents was being overlooked. Ratcliffe stated that if the law was applied evenly, both Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden would have been indicted, with Biden's case being a "slam dunk." Ratcliffe called for reform of the Justice Department.

MSNBC legal analyst calls for judge in Trump case to recuse herself: Public won't have 'confidence' in her
An MSNBC legal analyst called for the judge who will oversee Trump's classified documents case to recuse herself because the public won't have confidence in her rulings given her "track record." The judge was nominated to the bench by Trump in 2020 and faced criticism for her handling of the case in its early stages. The judge was assigned at random to handle the case, but the analyst called on her to recuse herself to avoid "any appearance of impropriety."

China claims the aggression is due to the United States pursuing diplomatic relations with Taiwan. If China were to invade Taiwan, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said it would be "devastating" for the global economy.

Conservatives Turn on Garth Brooks, Throw Out His Music After Bud Light Support: 'Never Again'
Country music star Garth Brooks has caused outrage by announcing that he will serve Bud Light, which features an image of a transgender model with a mustache on its cans, at his new bar in Nashville. Brooks called those boycotting the beer brand "a**holes" and said he had no tolerance for them. In response, many of his former fans took to social media to voice their anger, with some promising to boycott his music and concerts in the future. The backlash has been seen as a betrayal of Brooks' mostly conservative fanbase, and stands in sharp contrast to other music stars, such as Kid Rock and John Rich, who have publicly criticized Bud Light.

The Epoch Times: NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports Celebrate Finishing 24 Hours of Le Mans
NASCAR, Hendrick Motorsports Celebrate Finishing 24 Hours of Le Mans
NASCAR's effort to return to Le Mans for the first time since 1976 was a success, as the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro completed the full 24 hours despite not being eligible for any class victories. The car, dubbed "Le Monster," had a distinct rumble that drowned out the competition, and it was a passion project for Jim France, who first attended Le Mans in 1962 with his father, NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. The NASCAR team involved included Rick Hendrick, Chevrolet, and Goodyear, and the final product was heavily modified from what is currently being used in the Cup Series, with this car much faster than anyone expected. Two late mechanical problems took the Camaro out of contention to beat the GTE class, but it finished 10th.
