The Epoch Times: Organ Politics in Hong Kong: Who Is at Fault?
Hong Kong faces increasing restrictions with cancelled rallies, censored textbooks, and now opt-out organ donor cancellations. The government blames the public for cancelling their registrations, but there is a lack of IT expertise with the system failing to alert users if they are already registered, leading to confusion. There is suspicion surrounding the government's high-profile condemnation of the public opt-out from the organ donation register and its failure to convince the public to trust China in organ transplants. The autonomy of Hongkongers' bodies should be respected.
Liberty Nation: Full Circle: Burisma, the Big Guy, Bribery, and Trump
Hunter Biden's laptop has confirmed rumors of corruption involving him and the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, leading back to Joe Biden's demand for the Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin to be fired. President Trump suggested to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he investigate possible corruption involving Burisma and the Bidens, leading to impeachment proceedings against Trump. However, allegations of bribery and payments to Joe Biden and Hunter Biden have emerged, potentially proving the conspiracy theory to be true.
American Thinker: Democrats don’t care what Americans think because Americans don’t hold them accountable
Democrats continue to champion affirmative action despite widespread disapproval from Americans. A pre-mid-term poll found that Democrats were seen as out of touch and too left-wing, yet they still experienced no losses in the midterm elections. Many Americans disapprove of various Democratic policies but continue to vote them into office. The Republicans are being urged to take back the party from Trump, but this is not the right idea. In the most basic sense, affirmative action is necessary to drain the swamp by cleansing the Republican Party of those who are fine with corruption and bloated government. The Blaze: 'Attack' on children: Arizona governor vetoes 'discriminatory' transgender bathroom bill
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D) vetoed a bill that would have prevented public school students from using bathrooms and locker rooms designated for the opposite sex, citing discrimination against LGBTQ+ youth. Senate Bill 1040 would have required schools to provide other accommodations for transgender students who felt uncomfortable using the facilities that correspond with their biological sex, but not access to bathrooms or changing rooms that match their gender identity while children of the opposite sex are present. The bill would have also allowed families to sue if their children encountered a student of the opposite sex in a bathroom, changing facility, or sleeping quarters.

The Epoch Times: Beethoven and the Birth of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra
Vienna, known as the "City of Music," had no standing professional orchestra devoted to symphonic music until Otto Nicolai founded the Vienna Philharmonic in 1842. His primary intention was to perform the works of Beethoven, which had presented difficulties for even professional musicians due to its complexity. Nicolai exacted severe demands and strict discipline during 13 grueling rehearsals to unify his players into a single body and succeeded in performing the Ninth Symphony, which had not been adequately performed before. Nicolai moved to Berlin and tragically died of a stroke shortly following the premiere of his opera, leaving no one of equal merit to replace him until the Vienna Philharmonic was revived in 1860 after a hit performance of "The Merry Wives of Windsor."

Liberty Nation: It’s That Time of Year: Big-Box Media Warn the Sun Will Kill You
The medical profession's summer sun scare campaign warns of the risks of sun exposure, urging people to stay indoors or cover up with sunscreen and UPF clothing. It claims that even windows can pose a lethal threat, and that a safe tan is a myth. However, this scare campaign is reminiscent of the hysteria surrounding COVID-19, with inconsistent claims and dubious medical credentials, and is often orchestrated to benefit big pharma companies with financial ties to medical groups. People should educate themselves on the issue and consider alternative research-based opinions that advocate a healthy lifestyle to absorb and utilize the known benefits of being out in the sun.

National Review: Anthony Bass Is Baseball’s First Martyr to LGBTQ2S+ Orthodoxy
Toronto Blue Jays cut relief pitcher Anthony Bass for not being "pro-LGBTQ2S+ enough" after he shared a video supporting the boycotts of Bud Light and Target on Instagram. Bass apologized but still received backlash, with his latest comment of "everyone is entitled to their personal beliefs, right?" being deemed unacceptable by the team and MLB. The Blue Jays' promotion of pride ideology with pride-themed activities, displays, and performances also coincides with the illiberalism of woke ideology penetrating Major League Baseball.
