Fox News: Trudeau’s foreign interference investigator resigns after media leaks of China's meddling in Canada elections
David Johnston, the special investigator appointed by Canadian Prime Minister Justice Trudeau to look into foreign interference, has resigned amidst leaked information that China had meddled in Canada's elections. Johnston urged Trudeau to appoint another person with national security experience to complete the work recommended in his first report. All opposition parties in the House of Commons have called for the government to conduct a public inquiry into the allegations of foreign interference, but Johnston recently released a report recommending against that.
