Townhall: They Will Turn On You
The Chairman Mao ideology of power flowing from the barrel of a gun is relevant to America because institutions like law enforcement and the military, which carry guns to protect citizens, may turn those guns on citizens if commanded by the ruling elite. The ruling elite is censoring and locking up political dissidents, and when truly threatened by patriotic citizens, some of the protectors will kill for their masters (, ).
Townhall: Democrats Abuse Trump, Republicans Protect Biden
Former President Donald Trump faces a 37 felony count indictment for mishandling classified documents, while President Joe Biden has not faced any consequences for keeping classified documents at his home and office that received donations from Communist China. Republicans have demanded impeachments for several Biden administration officials, but the President himself should be the real target as he faces allegations of accepting a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian official. The country has a sickening double standard of justice, with evidence of corruption from Biden's family and mounting evidence for impeachment hearings, yet Republicans have delivered only rhetoric.
Townhall: To End Anti-Trump Deep-State, Two-Tiered Tyranny, Support Governor DeSantis
Trump is facing various legal challenges, including a lawsuit over sexual misconduct allegations and a case involving hush-money agreements with Stormy Daniels. He has also been indicted on federal counts for mishandling classified documents. Many believe that he is being persecuted and that there is a two-tiered justice system at play. While some Trump supporters feel that this justifies his re-election, others feel that he had four years to clean house and failed to do so, and are thus supporting Governor Ron DeSantis for President.
The American Spectator: How the Left Learned to Love the Espionage Act
The left, who have long denounced the Espionage Act as anti-democratic, have had a change of heart following the indictment of former President Trump. The indictment includes 31 counts of violating the Espionage Act, a statute previously used to jail socialists, pacifists and German-Americans for speech crimes. Left-leaning publications, such as The Guardian and Slate, have expressed no qualms about Special Counsel Jack Smith's heavy-handed use of the act against Trump, despite previously condemning it. Republicans, on the other hand, have accused Biden and his administration of weaponizing the Department of Justice for political gain.

Fox News: On this day in history, June 12, 1987, Reagan urges Gorbachev to 'tear down this wall'
On this day in 1987, President Ronald Reagan gave his famous speech at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, in which he demanded that Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev “tear down” the Berlin Wall. Although the wall was not torn down until November 1989, Reagan’s powerful words came to be seen as a defining moment of his presidency and a profound statement of the 1980s. The Berlin Wall was almost 27 miles long and was protected with barbed wire, attack dogs, and 55,000 landmines.
Spectator USA: How Rwanda’s leader silences his critics overseas
A Belgian restaurant cancelled a discussion on a book critical of Rwanda's president after receiving threatening calls and emails from Rwanda-backed groups. The discussion was moved to another venue, attended by a standing-room-only audience. It had been planned by a Pan-African think tank and focused on the author's book about Rwanda's post-genocide oppression of dissidents, journalists and human rights activists. The author said accusations he was a "genocide denier" were a sling used to discredit detractors of Rwandan President Paul Kagame. Rwanda is reliant on international aid, but abuses EU legislation to impose its narrative on countries where it has a diaspora and embassy.
