The Epoch Times: Texas Congresswoman Introduces Legislation to Prevent China From Buying US Farmland
Texas congresswoman Beth Van Duyne has introduced a bill aimed at preventing foreign countries, specifically China, from purchasing US farmland. The Protecting American Farmland Act would amend the US tax code, subjecting undisclosed purchases of American farmland to a 60% tax when bought by a “country of concern.” The bill defines a “country of concern” as any nation “engaged in long-term pattern or serious instances of conduct significantly adverse to the national security of the United States” and includes China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela under Nicolás Maduro. The bill comes after a number of US states passed similar laws, with SB 147 in Texas failing to progress past the House State Affairs Committee before the end of the regular legislative session in late May.
The Federalist Papers: Video: Hundreds of Absentee Ballots from 2020 Election Found Sitting in Storage Unit
Almost 300 unmailed absentee ballots from the 2020 election were discovered in a Michigan storage unit. The Thetford Township Supervisor raised concerns about the oversight and pointed out that there are disabled voters and those who were affected by the pandemic who rely on absentee voting. A former township employee rented the storage unit, and the matter was reported to the authorities, who are yet to rule on whether any laws were broken.
Breitbart: Former Scottish Leader Nicola Sturgeon Arrested Amid Corruption Probe
Former First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested and taken into custody for questioning by Police Scotland on Sunday in connection with the ongoing investigation into the financing of the far-left Scottish National Party (SNP). Sturgeon resigned from her post earlier this year amid a political scandal involving a transgender prisoner as well as allegations that her party misappropriated some £600,000 donated by activists to launch another Scottish independence campaign. Operation Branchform was launched to investigate the disappearance of this money. As the investigation is ongoing, Police Scotland advises people to exercise caution if discussing it on social media.
Sturgeon is the latest high-profile figure within the SNP to be detained during Operation Branchform. Even though her resignation was attributed to the transgender prisoner scandal, police launched an investigation into the alleged missing funds. In April, police searched the home of the former first minister and the SNP’s headquarters in Edinburgh, and on the same day, Sturgeon’s husband and former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell was arrested and questioned by police. As a part of the police investigation, a motorhome valued at around £110,000 was seized by police from the home of Murrell’s mother.
American Thinker: The Indictment of Donald J. Trump continues the lies of Russiagate and Trump Impeachment I
The Deep State labeled Donald J. Trump as a threat to national security, but this false canard has been dredged up with every targeting of the populist Mr. Trump by the aggrandizers who demand to live off the sacrifices of the deplorables.
Impeachment I turned on its head President Trump's concern about corrupt practices in Ukraine by Biden Inc. Recent disclosures by House Oversight Chairman James Comey should make clear to all but the most hostile to Mr. Trump that it amounted to an elaborate and desperate attempt at framing President Trump for charges involving the Bidens. Republicans have yet to use facts to coalesce around their rightful leader.
Breitbart: Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt Endorses Ron DeSantis for President
Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt endorses Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for President, citing DeSantis' response to the pandemic and his commitment to individual liberties. Stitt praises DeSantis for not surrendering states' rights and standing up to adversity with conviction. The endorsement came the same week as 20 Oklahoma state legislators endorsing DeSantis.
Daily Wire: ‘Nothing Happened’ To Hillary: Lindsey Graham Blasts Political ‘Double Standard’ In Justice System
Senator Lindsey Graham slams the American justice system and claims there is a double standard for politicians, arguing that Hillary Clinton set up a private server and allowed classified information to get in the wrong hands without suffering the consequences. Graham believes that espionage charges against Trump are completely wrong, stating that it associates Trump with whistleblowers like Edward Snowden and Julian Assange which is unfair. He points out that most Republicans believe the law is used as a weapon against Donald Trump.

Breitbart: Dam Collapse May Turn Major Ukrainian Farming Region Into 'A Desert'
The collapse of the Kakhovka dam in Ukraine has caused an environmental catastrophe, resulting in the flooding of tens of thousands of parcels of land, destruction of ecosystems, and contamination of the Black Sea. National Review: The Corner: Buckley’s Corner: When the New York Times Legitimized Castro’s Cuba
China and Cuba have reached a secret agreement for China to establish an electronic eavesdropping facility on the island, allowing Chinese intelligence services to scoop electronic communications throughout the southeastern U.S. China has had a spy base in Cuba since at least 2019. The Biden administration has taken steps to counter Chinese expansion of its security footprint globally.
The New York Times showed support for Fidel Castro in 1957 by publishing articles that hailed the guerrilla’s efforts to bring “liberty, democracy, and social justice” to Cuba. A journalist forgetting to pack his skepticism, and an editor bureau unwilling to call him on it, have done this part of the world no favors for over half a century. Journalism is only as good as the reporter and his editor.

Hu also recommends the centuries-old TCM “Gu Chi Shen Fang (teeth fixing magic formula)” to save loose teeth, which contains nine kinds of herbs mixed in a certain weight.

Breitbart: Dulis: Has Chick-fil-A Gone Woke? An Updated Rap Sheet
Chick-fil-A, a fast-food chain known for its Christian values, has faced increasing controversy since left-wing activists began targeting the company in 2012 for its stance on human sexuality. In 2019, the company stopped giving money to Christian organizations that offended LGBTQ sensibilities after it faced headwinds in launching new locations outside of the United States. The company also made donations to left-wing organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center, which has been discredited and smeared opponents as "extremists" and "hate groups." Chick-fil-A designated an executive director of diversity, equity, and inclusion and launched new initiatives to address racial injustice in 2020 and 2021, which included private trainings and partnerships with organizations that provide access to diverse talent.
