Fox News: Trump attorney 'could never imagine' him taking a plea deal: 'That's an admission of guilt'
Trump attorney 'could never imagine' him taking a plea deal: 'That's an admission of guilt'
President Trump's attorney, Alina Habba, has dismissed the possibility of Trump accepting a plea deal after he was indicted on 37 federal counts in connection with his handling of classified documents. Habba stated that accepting a plea deal is "an admission of guilt", and Trump has "done nothing wrong". Trump was indicted last week and could face "decades" behind bars if found guilty. Critics, including Habba, have called into question the validity of the charges, given Trump's access to declassified materials under the jurisdiction of the Presidential Records Act.

Jim Jordan: Trump Indictment 'the Most Political Thing I Have Ever Seen'
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) called the indictment of former President Trump "the most political thing" he had ever seen. Jordan accused the Justice Department of targeting Trump for possessing declassified information protected by the Secret Service. He believes it is part of a pattern of political attacks against the president over the past seven years.

Breitbart: Vivek Ramaswamy: I Would Pardon Trump If Elected
Vivek Ramaswamy: I Would Pardon Trump If Elected
GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy would pardon former President Donald Trump if he is convicted in the Mar-a-Lago documents case, despite allegations that Trump stored highly classified information in unsecured areas of his country club. Ramaswamy believes the indictment is deeply politicized and selectively omits relevant facts and laws. He questions what President Biden told Attorney General Merrick Garland and what Garland told Justice Department Inspector General Jack Smith. Ramaswamy sees this as a case of selective prosecution without coverage of relevant facts or laws.

Trump's lawyer says she advises against plea deal in classified doc case
Former President Donald Trump's lawyer advises against a plea deal in the classified document case that led to an indictment. Trump is facing 37 federal counts, including willful retention of national defense information, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and false statements. The indictment claims that Trump kept classified documents at his residences and shared them with others on two occasions in 2021 at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

North Carolina Republicans Censure Thom Tillis, Accuse Him of Straying from Party Platform
NC Republicans censured Senator Thom Tillis in a two-to-one vote, claiming he has strayed from conservative values. Accusations include his support for same-sex marriage, red-flag laws, and immigration proposals for illegal immigrants. Tillis has served since 2015 and despite criticism, his spokesman stated he delivers results and keeps his promises.

Donald Trump Says He’ll ‘Never’ Leave 2024 Presidential Race
Former President Donald Trump vows to not leave the 2024 presidential race despite facing 38 felony charges in two separate indictments. Trump denies any wrongdoing and claims the charges are political. He also rejects the possibility of accepting a plea deal but leaves open the possibility of accepting damages as part of a deal. Trump mentions his fundraising numbers have grown since the indictment was revealed. Republicans are defending the former president after the indictments were handed down by the DOJ.

Breitbart: Calls to Impeach Biden Grow Amid Bribery Claims and Trump Indictment
Calls to Impeach Biden Grow Amid Bribery Claims and Trump Indictment
Republicans are calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden after allegations from an FBI informant that both Joe and Hunter Biden were paid $5 million each to help a Ukrainian natural gas company executive kill a corruption investigation into him, back in 2015 and 2016. This comes in the wake of former President Donald Trump’s indictment under the Espionage Act, which has never been used against a president. Although some Republicans have called for Biden's impeachment, few lawmakers are openly doing so. Most lawmakers who have called for Biden’s impeachment have previously done so. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy tweeted that Republicans will get answers on this matter.

Breitbart: Joe Biden Embraces Transgender Children at White House Pride Month Celebration
Joe Biden Embraces Transgender Children at White House Pride Month Celebration
President Joe Biden showed support for transgender children during Pride Month celebrations at the White House, where he denounced laws and bills "targeting transgender children" and "criminalizing doctors and nurses". The president pledged to push back against the measures, which he said attacked "the most basic values and freedoms we have as Americans". He added that transgender children should not live in fear and need to be told they are loved.

The event, which was described as the largest Pride celebration hosted at the White House, was postponed from its original date due to poor air quality from Canadian wildfires. Biden's support for issues around transgender and LGBTQ+ rights is known, and he previously marked Transgender Day of Visibility in March. However, his comments have been met with criticism, with some objecting to his assertion of "the right to make your own health decisions".

Fox News: Congressman urges DOJ to probe suspected Iran ‘kill list' targeting US law enforcement and American Jews
Congressman urges DOJ to probe suspected Iran ‘kill list' targeting US law enforcement and American Jews
Rep. Jack Bergman sent a letter to U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland asking for a full investigation into the origins and funding of the Mapping Project, which allegedly promotes assassination attacks against U.S. law enforcement and American Jews, allegedly promoted by Iran’s government. The Mapping Project includes an interactive map that targets more than 500 organizations in Massachusetts that it claims should be “dismantled” for promoting perceived “harms” in the US and in Israel. Bergman requested the Justice Department to initiate action against the Mapping Project in order to protect Americans’ national security interests and religious freedoms.

The Mapping Project, allegedly supported by Iran’s regime with anti-Western and pro-Communist ideologies, combines elements of far-left extremism and uses extremist and violent rhetoric to demonize and attack organizations not aligned with its views. The Mapping Project includes antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment and an outsize number of organizations singled out are Jewish institutions, including synagogues, schools, and NGOs. Despite being classified as the world’s worst state-sponsor of terrorism, Iran’s PressTV has endorsed the Mapping Project and called for its expansion to additional states beyond Massachusetts.

The Epoch Times: North Korea Joins WHO’s Leadership—But This Is Not the Issue
North Korea Joins WHO’s Leadership—But This Is Not the Issue
North Korea has commenced a three-year term on the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO), which, while beneficial for global organizations, is problematic when such organizations dictate what nations can and cannot do. The international community should treat recommendations arising from WHO as suggestions and ignore them unless they align with one's national interests. Over the next two years, relationships with WHO will change, and states will have "undertaken" to follow all future recommendations, with a massive surveillance program to ensure compliance, telling people whether they can work, see their families, or travel. The pandemic agenda reinforces the corporate-authoritarian model, and Klaus Schwab, the chair of the World Economic Forum, boasts that the organization has "penetrated" Western cabinets.

Fox News: Unabomber Ted Kaczynski cause of death in federal prison cell reportedly suicide
Unabomber Ted Kaczynski cause of death in federal prison cell reportedly suicide
Ted Kaczynski, aka the "Unabomber," has reportedly died by suicide at the age of 81 in his cell at a federal prison in North Carolina, where he had been since December 2021. Kaczynski, a Harvard-educated mathematician, was convicted of running a 17-year bombing campaign that killed three people and injured 23 others. He had been held in a federal Supermax prison since May 1998, where he confessed to committing 16 bombings between 1978 and 1995. Kaczynski's manifesto "Industrial Society and Its Future" was published by The Washington Post and The New York Times, leading to his capture by authorities.

The official cause of Kaczynski's death has not been revealed by authorities, although The New York Times reports it was by suicide. In response to inquiries, the Bureau of Prisons revealed only that responding staff tried to save Kaczynski, that he was transported to and eventually pronounced dead at a local hospital, and no staff or other inmates were harmed. Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, took to Twitter to call out the media for its "glamorization" of Kaczynski’s life and crimes, with others similarly criticizing the coverage he has received since his death.
