The American Spectator: California Hurts Poor With Its Anti-Discrimination Laws
California is cutting impoverished children out of a food assistance program because they attend a conservative Christian school whose beliefs disagree with the government's sexual agenda. Dayspring Christian Learning Center in El Cajon provides low-income children with government-funded meals, but the state cut them off for holding traditional beliefs about marriage and biological sex. Recent Supreme Court rulings support religious schools' rights to funds that governments provide for other private educational establishments. The government's actions violate civil rights and federal laws, and the Church of Compassion and two other religious liberty advocacy groups have filed a lawsuit.

The American Spectator: The Simple Art of Marlowe
Marlowe returns to the screen in Neil Jordan's film, embodied by Liam Neeson. The character is as hard, sharp, and honorable as he was in Raymond Chandler's novels, navigating a dark underworld without losing his own morality. Refreshingly, the film features traditional elements of a classic film-noir, including a femme-fatale and a (toxic) male hero who puts his code of honor above base instinct. The chemistry between Neeson and co-star Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje elevates the picture, and its inclusivity is achieved through storytelling, not by quota.

Breitbart: Teacher Allegedly Posed as Teen Online to Obtain Naked Images of Girls
An English teacher at Harriton High School in Pennsylvania has been arrested for allegedly setting up fake profiles to lure teenage girls into sending naked photos. Jeremy Schobel is facing charges related to enticement of minors to engage in illicit sexual conduct and manufacture of child pornography. Authorities began investigating after being tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The suspect reportedly admitted to FBI agents that he had committed these crimes for years and communicated with many underage girls aged 16 to 18. The school district has suspended Schobel and confirmed there were no prior records that would have prevented his hiring.

The American Spectator: French Court Glory
Novak Djokovic won the French Open, going for the all-time record at 23 majors. He dominated his opponent, 24-year-old Casper Ruud, and claimed his third Musketeers trophy. In the women's, 20-year old Iga Świątek won her second championship, becoming the one to beat for many years to come. In doubles, the top-seeded American team lost to the tenth-seed Anglospheres, who then lost to the no-seed Red China Free China team in a competitive match. The tournament was well attended and full of pomp, despite French players being absent in the second week. Tom Brady sat in Djokovic's box and there was some PC nonsense surrounding the Russian players.
